Really like this tip and drill. I hit lots of fat shots and I also think about my left hip as leading my swing, not realizing that could be a major factor in my fat shots. Thanks
Great drill. Just set up to the ball as normal, then bring your left foot to your right. You’re ready to start the drill, with ball position in the correct spot.
Will give it a shot, but the challenge will be not swaying, my other big issue.
Why not just leave the 75% of the weight on the front leg, rather than taking the step, while taking the backswing and then move into the downswing as you demonstrated? More like a "Stack & Tilt!"
You’re supposed to shift your weight from one side to another, with more weight on your front foot. Not all your weight.
Main problem with stack and tilt is it doesn't lend itself well to hitting driver / woods. Meaning you often have to have 2 different style of swings, one for irons and one for woods, and it can be very difficult.
