In this video I describe some symptoms and prevalence of several disorders in the Obsessive-Compulsive Related Disorders category of the DSM-5. These include Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Hoarding Disorder, and Body Dysmorphic Disorder.
Please note that the symptoms described in this video are not comprehensive and there are other symptoms involved in diagnosis for each of these disorders.

You are doing a great job.
Thanks!
Again very helpful 👍🏻
I love your videos so much and they are very helpful but please please consider lowering the volume on the intro, it blasts my ears like nails on chalkboard
Sorry about that, I don't use it on newer videos!
Can body dysmorphic disorder also be comorbid with eating disorder sometimes, if the person worries about their body shape?
Body dysmorphic disorder and eating disorders can be comorbid but since the eating disorder diagnosis may already include criteria related to distorted body size or shape (such as in anorexia nervosa) an additional diagnosis of body dysmorphic disorder would only be given for distortions that are unrelated to body size or shape.
Hi, have you done a lecture on sociopathy?
I haven't yet but I'll add it to my list and try to get to it soon!
@@PsychExamReview great! I look forward to it. Seems like there's not a lot of quality material regarding sociopathy on CZcams, plenty of lectures on psychopathy though
This is likely due to the fact that there's some disagreement about how these terms should be used. The DSM-5 doesn't differentiate them - listing both as related to Anti-Social Personality Disorder. Some psychologists treat the terms as interchangeable while others have proposed distinctions. I'll be sure to discuss these in more detail in a video!
@@PsychExamReview ah, ok. Thanks
