Trigger Finger surgery office experience

Trigger Finger is a problem that affects the hands and fingers causing catching, locking, pain and weakness. Dr. Jorge A. Gonzalez MD will be happy to help you fix this problem. This is an in-office procedure, performed under local anesthesia that take 5-10 minutes. Patients return to normal activities in days. What to expect the day of the procedure -
- Patients picks music to be played during the procedure (David Bisbal in this case)
- Patient will feel initial pin prick that is used to apply numbing medication.
- Spend 5-10 minutes chatting with Dr. Gonzalez about life events, likely talk about his son JD.
- Small bandage will be applied to the hand once procedure is completed.
- Be ready to say goodbye to locking and triggering of the finger.

I have a middle finger trigger finger, one cortisone injection made it nearly normal. My doctor suggested trying it first before going straight to the surgery. He said it is worth trying before the expensive surgery as it does fix the problem in a percentage of cases. I had mine for over 10 years too and it is not giving me hardly any triggering at all.
