    It is all about not having ABS, zero electronics other than lights and start. Its not for those who just "wanna have a bike" type of riders. It may take a while until one gets the spirit of it. Wind in your chest is part of the experience. I have been witj her at over 150 miles/hour...it will test your mental and body strength like no other sportsbike, while maintaning huge stability.
    This is a bike for genuine motorcyclers. It has its challenges, but is fantastic once you get into it. Her engine rotation is highly flexible. You can run on very low or very high rotarions. Makes the bike feel as many bikes in one, very dynamic to the riders approach and style.
    You may have felt unsafe in corners likely because you were too slow in this heavyweight beast, and because you may have tried to use your body to lean the bike, which will definetely not work. Curves only by countersteering, and leaning with it, not making it lean for you. And it leans a lot I must say. And if it scratches, dont worry, as it will continue its trajectory.
    This bike is closer to a horse than to a bicycle. It kind of leeds the way, until you manage to have full controll over it. From that point on, there is nothing like it. Just one of a kind in the entire market, an amazing work by Suzuki! I will keep this one until I die. Maybe also having others, but this will not ever be produced again. It's a species in extinction.
    You should try it again and focus on better dominating it, that is the funest process. Playing around. Its not about the destination, but the journey of having it fully under control. All other bikes will be a bit boaring from that point on. Give yourself a chance!

      And by the way, you can adjust suspension in 7 different modes. Just have it on very smooth and you will have a completely different riding experience. Greetings from Brazil!!!

      @thiagofernandes7007 Thank you so much for watching and for your Amazing Comment!
      I admit that I'm not used to this style of bike, i am used to Super sport bikes.
      I definitely plan on testing this bike In the spring again and I will be ready this time and also with a much better review!
      I will take all of your advice, especially from because of how passionate you are about this motorcycle!

      @@Motorcycle_Man I ride it on race tracks as well. Of coirse not competing with supersports bikes, but it does quiet well. I can send you pics if you are interested, maybe short videos as well.

    First thing you needed to have been out of second gear long ago. You got her wound up on the curb and the bike was in attack mode. The bike can be molded to any rider. You need a wind shield to make the ride better right off the back. I have the same bike and have modified it to fit my body. Like any bike you can change the seats, extend the bars, get buggy boards to place your foot for long rides and for tires I suggest Perelli night dragon. You didn’t give the bike a real chance

      Thanks for your input, I agree 100%. It was a brand new stock bike that wasn't even broken in yet and still quite stiff
      And I was on a guided tour which seriously limited me
      I literally had a guide on my tail which is seriously limiting and equivalent to having a cop follow you 🤣
      The Harley tent allows you to take bikes on your own which was really hood, those rides were much more enjoyable because you get to focus on yourself and not on a group.
      I see the bike does have potential, Hopefully one day I can ride one on the freeway and see how it feels

    Best bike I've owned! Btw you were on second gear at 60MPH for so long, that will definitely give it a twitchy unnatural ride...

    ".. a little negative", you practically talked it off a cliff 😂. To be fair, you did say that you're not use to that type of a bike and ride a completely different type. Riders experienced with larger heavy bikes use their bikes size to their advantage, it's all learned skill. Watching you corner made me nervous, that was user error, non-confidence, simply because you're not use to it and that's fair as it's an intimidating beast. Scraping concerns are again due to the above, she can lean quite deep. Also, re bumps, it's a new bike, it's firm and tight all round. Regarding wind knocking you about, welcome to cruisers, unless you get a large windshield. Cool video, thanks for sharing 👍🏻

      Thanks for Your Positive input.
      Like I said I really wanted to go out of my comfort zone and try something different, I was too in the moment when I said alot of the things I said, some of it was unwarranted. I honestly did enjoy the bike, but like most things it takes alot of getting used to.
      It was a really cool experience and I'm looking forward to trying out the 2024 model next year 😁
      I appreciate you Watching and letting me know what you thought, helps me grow!

    Last year, rode my 2018 BOSS out to Sturgis and back, from York, PA...over 1600 miles one way. I'm 58 years old and had nothing but a comfortable and worry free experience. Paired with some hard saddlebags and a rear mounted bag, I had more fun than the 4 Harley baggers I was riding with. I bought it new in Dec. 2018, and have 34,000 miles on it now. No problems or concerns in the time that I have had it. It's not a bike for everyone. Coming from sport bikes, it took me a bit to get use to riding it.

      @Motorcycle_Man  Před 2 měsíci +1

      I honestly really appreciate this comment, Because you didn't lash out at me getting mad. Because I didn't shift as much as people wanted. Because you also realize that I'm not used to these bikes. And maybe I was a little critical. After some research I do see that these bikes can be very versatile, I did not realize these were as popular as they were.
      I'll be going to laconia bike week this year and the new m109r Is the first bike I plan on test riding And giving another chance.
      I will be more prepared this time!

    Poor bike. The manual clearly states not to cross 3500 rpm for the first 500 miles and 5500 rpm for the first 1000 miles. Myne had 2 miles on it and was not set up right, so I know there were no idiot reving it in the red before I purchased it. I blame dealers though for completely ignoring this and intentionnaly whishing destruction of new bikes. I also changed engine oil and filter at 500 and 1000 miles even though it was not suggested in the manual. So I did not enjoy fully until 1000 miles and 2 oil changes. Now I KNOW it will last.

    • @Motorcycle_Man
      @Motorcycle_Man  Před 5 měsíci

      Well you saw it, they dont care. You saw what the main man said. These are DEMO bikes, they are supposed to be beaten on. I believe afterwards they examine them for their own tests on durability .
      Now if it was mine, id probably change the oil at 500 and 1000 miles and baby it until 1500 miles

    With a set of hard bags and a front fairing from Tsukayu, and you've got one hell of a bike. Your idea of just riding it around town is way overboard. A Harley Fat Boy has a wide rear tire and normally folks don't complain about that simply because it's a Harley.
