Just discovered this video. Had a blast watching it ! I have an M90 and would love to have been in this mix ! I am 175lbs, and wonder if I could keep up 😊, thanks for the smiles guys!
Here's a tip when drag racing . Stop using the clutch and you only need to move the throttle 1/4 inch or less to shift. You're losing so much forward momentum when you're not doing both as you can see.
I love seeing 109's out having fun. I ride a 18 boss. Full BCS tune, Sideburner shorty exhaust, and will have here shortly the stealth full intake system. theses bikes are beasts!! love them. I just wish there were more around my area for meet and greets and such. loves the vid.....
Just bought a New Leftover 2019 Black and Red BOSS like your boy's bike. Question for you, does your phone mount block the view of your instrument panel at all. Can you see your indicator lights with the phone there?
At first I though the other bike had work done to the engine the way he pulled away, but then they switched bikes and he lost as well. It has to be the rider and weight that made the difference. I'm speaking from experience because I've had my bike since 2007 and have lost 135 pounds and every year I had to relearn the bike because of the lost weight. And yes the bike is crazy fast compared to when I first purchased it.
You bring up a good point about the lost of body weight. I was into body building at 220lb years ago, I own a Honda VTX 1800. I got out of body building and I am now down between 177-180lbs. There is a big difference in riding my VTX now at my lighter weight. I will never get rid off my 1800, we have been through hell together. But I am thinking of adding a lighter bike to the collection for local runs, and keeping the 1800 for long runs.
@@micksmith3434 Hi, no issues and I’ve had 4 so far from 2008 - 2016. I know of the issue and had a concern about it once til one owner said to be sure you slam it in second cause the travel distance is so far and most ppl don’t have it in gear before coming off the clutch. Seems to be true cause not all riders most riders have no issue. You have to learn every bike and this is one avoidable issue.
I've got a 2007 with a m90 wheel with a car tire ,and put 2000 super glide bars on it which requires lengthening the wires, but I did it so well you can't tell.

@@jetrammel Just because in the Moore vid they explain what they have done and what it changes, think you may find it interesting ... apparently the higher gears were only giving 40% throttle before the flash?? I may have got that wrong but I think that's right...
@@ramzesi4750 man I love mine knock on wood hasn’t given me any problems like that. Now there is a second gear issue in the 06-10 models they claim they fixed in 2011 but it all depends on how you ride honestly.

@@SuperJBrowne The M109R isn’t at all a bad bike, but it is simply outmatched by the VMax in pretty much every category. The biggest downside of the VMax is that it only gets about 80-90 PER TANK! It only has a 4 gallon tank, so it’s a short distance bike. Other than that it is an absolute blast to ride. I can get up to about 130-140 in about 9 or 10 seconds!
