    The camera ISO was on automatic , so the first seconds after the LED goes on is the real deal. After that the camera lowered the ISO , but that LED is 🔥🔥🔥

    When install light bars/pods I typically do about a 0-1 degree angle to have just a slight degree up to help with distance and coverage. To the people complaining ignore them, you set this up to how YOU need/like it. Rock on brother keep doing you. If you have questions hit me up I love talking about lights 😅😂

    Those light bars are superb, give about 500m of great floodlight, way more useful than spots, i had both on my ranger 4x4, the spots could shine for over a km but no flood like effect

    1:44 YO DAAWG! WE HEARD YOU LIKE A L.E.D. BAR, SO WE INSTALLED ONE IN THE ROOF OF YOUR HEAD! You have officially been PIMP’D!
    Nice installation!
    I recommend to wire it up so it turns on/off with the high-beam. And the nice new button makes it always off (Roof bar can get annoying in heavy rain/snow)
    It’s easy to connect with a H4 piggy back adapter, on the main lights. So there is no need to cut (or weld :) ) the original wires!
    You also need to adjust the angle of the bar a little bit upwards, for best uniform light down the road. :)

    Nice video - as always.
    The light bar should only turn on together with your original high beam.
    To do that you use the original high beam to trigger the relay for the light bar. Doing this gives you an attractive option.
    - If you connect earth wire of the light bar relay to your switch inside the car you can turn off the light bar (ie its earth wire) while continuing using your original high beam.
    (I think this is required in all of Europe.)

  • @pim1234
    @pim1234 Před 2 lety +1

    the light has too shine way further from you car

  • @BorisEkner
    @BorisEkner Před 2 lety +2

    The rear/reverse lights should only turn on when you engage reverse gear.
    Ie, you should use the original reverse light/current to trigger a relay for your extra reverse lights. They should not be able to turn on without going in reverse. Yet again, I think this is a European requirement.

    • @LifeofSmokey
      @LifeofSmokey  Před 2 lety +7

      Yeah my first thought was installing this together with the reverse lights. But imagine being in a busy parking lot at night and you need to reverse 😂🙈. Also made it like this for when a friend behind me gets stuck i can turn on the light without having the car running or in reverse. 😀

    Ben je niet bang dat je op een gegeven moment te veel meuk installeert? Je sleurt die windvangende onderdelen mee op je dak. Telkens weer een paar kilo erbij en een hoger zwaartepunt. Al die opplakdingetjes in de auto maken het ook niet netter. Het is jouw project natuurlijk, maar persoonlijk zou ik kiezen voor prestatieverbetering en vooral niet die auto overengineren met uiteindelijk resultaat, meer weerstand, rammeltjes en geruis, verbruik toename en afname van prestaties.

    • @LifeofSmokey
      @LifeofSmokey  Před 2 lety

      Everything i install has it purpose , i need the roofrack , need the big batwing awning for camping videos and the sticky things in the interior are OEM Suzuki parts you could order on the first model 😁. A stock new Jimny has no storage on the inside besides 2 cup holders. That's why you see a lot of new Jimny's with many gizmo's inside. Also no windnoise of other vibrating stuff cause i only buy top notch materials. And the 100hp in low gearing has taken my Jimny through some really deep mud couple of times so no worries about performance. 😁
      And i drive a 700hp Brabus , the last thing i care about it fuel consumption 😅

      @@LifeofSmokey Thanks for your reaction. Necessity is the best argument at all times, I agree. Some time ago I figured a snorkel is maybe overdone is you wouldn’t cross deep waters, but as I understand it could also play a role to suck in cleaner air from a higher position if you throw up a lot of dirt in your engine compartment frequently. What is your opinion?
