We're honored to have our machines in Kris Devo's shop. 🙌🏼
You could be equally honoured to put them in my shop in the UK if you wish?
I like them tool to I am in texas
Wow, that was impressive! Good Lord...😳
Thank you @CM_84!
This guy is knowledgeable AF
Wow this had to be so much work. Putting all this information in this video. 👋
You impressed me with your professional equipment
Truth be told, you are better than the factory
Thank you @ozilnasa1823!
What a spot on shop tour. I really learned a lot about your shop tools. That will help me in the future. Thank you friend
Makes me want to bring another project over buddy!
Jesus you have a ton of equipment and tools!!!! Great tour!
Just proves that is no substitute to experience and knowledge !
Thanks Kris. Very helpful video. Glue release…who knew?
Gotta Like the video before it starts, Kris never lets us down.
Much appreciated @redC16!
Excellent, I was hoping for you to have a huge shop, my wish came true as I looked at your recent videos!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
That's a lot of tools. I wouldn't even have the room for them. Kris you have come so far congratulations and keep it up.👍
Fantastic breakdown of equipment and set up for the hobbiest to professional, thank you.
Wow. Do you still have a “wish I had this tool list” ? That video shows me how much of a beginner I really am.
I probably always will have a wish list.
I am a big Milwaukee fan, so I had to look away during the Dewalt items. But everyone has to pick a platform, stay with it and most are about the same.
True true
WOW serious amount of tools. You would be the ultimate wood shop teacher at a school he he he.
Thank you so much. This was an amazing resource for making out my wish list for my wife and kids for Fathers Day, Christmas, etc. Thank you for taking the time to put this together.
Glad it was helpful!
Great great great video! Enjoyed every minute, Thank you so much, was very interesting!
You put a lot of time into editing this video....Very much appreciated. This was a great video to watch. tHanks for posting.
As a fellow Alaskan, I really like seeing how someone local has done so well for himself. Congratulations!
Can you tell me when the Dewalt Days sale is?
Shop Nation makes 3d printed miter saw dust collection adapters. Not sure if he has one for the same miter saw you have, but good to look at. Made a big difference for mine.
One suggestioin, what I did- build yourself a massive router table mounted on a cabinet with rollers, and if you can find one put a Porter-Cable 3.25 hp router in it. That is just one BEAST of a router, will take anything you can throw at it all day long...unfortunately they no longer make them, so there is a limited new inventory still out there...
Cool Video and Great Set of Tools!
Thank you @EvanDunville!
Good stuff, Kris. I've learned a lot from your past videos on getting my small shop up and running, and continue to learn from each video. Thanks for sharing.
Happy to help @davebaker1325!
You are awesome! Your knowledge of the product you build as well as the equipment used to produce it, is so far above the norm. Fun to watch you work. 👍🏻
Excellent Video, very well edited.
Thank you @frederickrodger7249!
All this stuff just for cutting boards. You must have orders lined up all the way to Mexico. I truly wish you all the success in the world.
. I got to say festool make great tools but for me there sandpaper is crap after swapping out to 3m extract I get more bang for my buck and a nicer finish and thanks for your no nonsense tool reviews you have a lot of really nice toys.
I still need to try that stuff out
@@KrisDeVo you won’t go back
Love the video. It's like a rapid-fire in-depth shop tour. And thanks for explaining how you like each tool and what you used in your smaller shop.
Keep on rocking in the free world!
My guess for the amount of comments saying "oh yeah... if i had a million dollars worth of equipment i could totally do this too!!... even though i have no skill, ability, drive, or ambition" is ... 674.
Nice work Kris, its great to see the small-fry-garage moves to killing-it-in-a-workshop. Good luck!
I do get a few of those... Much appreciated @mcgillandsons!
That was funny......ambition and drive.....yeah, you don't need that to cast clouds on other people's excitement.
I laughed so hard about the dentist that bought that dust collector
Amazing
Such an awesome work shop & great video
Thanks 👍
Great shop!! You Can never have enough TOOLS…. Love you approached to Woodworking.😎
love the video and to see you grow from the small shop to this one.
Love this video! Thank you for all the great tool info!!
Thank you, lots of good information.
Excellent video Kris, great to see your progress in work and life. I have recently upgraded my band saw and went for a big Laguna based on your previous videos. Keep up the good work.
Thank you @thenewnewforester4336! Which one did you go with?
@@KrisDeVo Hi Kris, I went for the 14BX as it is the largest I can use in my workshop due to power requirements (living in the forest, the supply is limited). Did I miss your old DeWalt drum sander on the video?
Holy...so many tools.
Wow a lot of power tools.. I love it
Loved this video Kris and found so much more interesting than just another shop tour video. You have found some absolute bargains over the years 😎 🤙
Kris, love your videos and your creations. Extremely talented and generous. Best of luck and health to you and the family!
Great video Chris, well done
Realy great and informative love it
You could build anything with that lot. Im so jealous. Its great to see how far youve come from the little shop to this one. Great success story. Really happy for you mate.
“They’re always in my way” - we all just nodded and said “yup!”
Thanks,Kris, for the great information and advice.I think it's about time to seriously take a look at my air quality.Cheers.😊
awesome video!
Great video Kris thanks for sharing how you got all your tools and how much they cost congrats on all you’re handwork and success and here’s to many more years 🎉🍾
Love your work. So happy for your success. Much love and gratitude
Thank you! Cheers!
Um….err…wait what? The last time I looked at your channel you were working in your garage making toothpicks! My head is spinning! It’s going to take me a month to replay all that at a speed where I can take notes. You didn’t mention the most important thing. Your family. I hope you’re all happy and healthy. 😊👍
New subscriber here. I am watching your video Hobby Turned Business Overnight, on my tv, and i am in awe of your super talent and commitment to quality. That one is from 2 yr ago. I'll be really watching this current one right after that one, here on my phone. I don't know too much about your equipment yet, but i want to watch and learn. And your baby in the snow was just adorable.
i love your vidéos and what you do❤nice work kris
Much appreciated @noahcharbonn8808!
Great overview!! This gives me some great ideas for our shop. Thank you!
Happy to hear, thank you @fourpressmedia2674!
Incredible video as always. Very well said for all of the tools and extremely good insight.
Much appreciated @TheGiantWoodworks!
Seriously awesome shop!
Lucky to be here for sure.
This is incredibly interesting, huge thanks Kris. Seriously, it's like a Disneyland for me, I love it. I wish you successful projects and good luck😉✌️
Cheers!
You have become my spirit animal :) I have enjoyed every step of your journey, thank you for sharing. Mapping out a new shop build myself and love this for resource thanks!
Much appreciated @deets2895!
Awesome video, really great info. Just an observation, you have an extremely high value of tool assets, where you’ll generally only be using one at a time. To actually make them work for you financially you could get more people in the shop using them with you working on your products. Seems very high overheads.
It would be fun to hear some of your views on pricing, paying helpers, what type of customers you seek and which you pass on. You appear to have a consistency that allows you to grow. Me, I have a bunch of good habits, but it only takes a couple wrong decisions and I'm a race car with a flat tire again.
Use that red tape here in Jacksonville Florida in Duval county pour concrete for 11 use it everyday to take plastic down
Awesome Video!
I haven't seen the fully automatic support system a real workshop is built on.
For almost 20 years i receive support from The Spouse 1015/1981.
Indispensable for a good workshop.
😉
Haha! You are correct. I wouldn't be here without the help of my amazing wife.
Great !
Thank you for the video. Not sure what you are doing with the sawdust, but you should get a sawdust briquette machine. Didn't see one in your shop review.
I'm amazed you were able to find sources for good used wood and metal working equipment. How do you find such good deals on used equipment?.
Keep an eye out on Facebook Market Place
SCORE! thank you for all that information, i have followed you and studied your videos as im trying to get me a wood shop business going in the south. need to know what tools to buy or start with.
Glad to help and best of luck to ya
Wow what a video Kris could hardly keep up at times had go back few times check stuff out. Can u tell me were u got the digital gauge for the plainer and if it's compatible for any plainer I have a combo wondered if would work?? 🏴👍
I got it on Amazon, I have a link to my Amazon affiliate store in the description. Not sure if it will fit your machine but it would be worth looking into.
@@KrisDeVo no worries I'll have look thanks. 👍🏴
Ты молодец🤞🤞🤞💪💪💪
Thanks for another great video. I would love to know more about your Laguna PS3 Profile Sander: What makes it useful and it's practical limitations. Outside of manufacturer's literature, there seems to be very little useful information on these machines. We bought an older machine of this type and fitted it with imported spiral brush heads from China to sand round-overs on our cutting boards. Still have not managed to get consistent results though.
Thats interesting. I also bought this with the thought of sanding round-overs on cutting boards and its just not the right tool for the job. I bet it shines for crown molding, deburing cnc stuff and concave projects. I don't use it much.
One question I have is on the large machine lot that you purchased - was that through Laguna or did you find a shop going out of business or something?
It was all used from 1 guy. Check out the Hobby to Manufacturing video.
Amazing work. Hopefully I can purchase one but I don't think you ship to Guam.

I have been following you from the start and I have to ask you. Your new shop is fantastic. Do you now have several employees working for you now. Just wondering because of size and equipment you have. You have achieved a lot in a few years
Thanks for sticking around since the start. I have had a couple part time guys but its just been me again for the past 1.5yrs or so.
I’m so confused because Laguna’s headquarters is in Irvine California.. but they make the big bandsaw in Italy? I know they make the regular ones in California or maybe other locations around globe for distribution efficiency.
Haha “the only Milwaukee tools I use” while showing a few Milwaukee felt markers…
Sometimes That Highend Stuff

👌👍
What's the total? Serious investment that's for sure
wow man I am so happy for you and your family! You really maximized on the covid and seriously you did a lot of work to get to the place you are at however I wanna ask you a question because I think it will help you and everyone else out. well me too... was there a point that you were just doing what you love and suddenly orders went insane and offers to trade you money for your talent were overwhelming to a point that you werent sure if you really wanted to do that much work??? Was that a point in which you decided F it go big or go home and just kept your head down and went to work??? was there a point after that in which you thought maybe it wasnt the right choice? and then was there a point in which you said just get through this and reasess after? Did you keep your mind on what you love and having a great time? or did you allow the overwhelming to take over? I know the answer but everyone else needs to know that that is the point in which things fell into place and if you had focused on the stress you would have burnt out and you would not have filled the orders or raised your prices or whatever you did what ever happened at that point that just fell into place that was the difference between success and failure and that is why you are where you are... congrats man... remember keep your eye on what brings you the most happiness and always always take care of you first... your daughter will thank you.

Are you still producing products?
You have a well-equipped workshop😍 do you buy these tools with your job profit OR You have investor?
First comment First view
You have to go back then and watch his previous videos, especially the ones in his small shop. It will most likely make you feel like a slug. This guy is about three grizzly bears into one.
I'm A Ryobi Guy. I'm Thinking
Of Purchasing A Ryobi Band Saw
Wich I Found For A Very Reasnable
Price $199.99. & I'm Also
Thinking Of Purchasing A Ryobi
Belt Sander For $199.99 Also.
It was my intension to inquire if you are still in business. Obviously you are. However the WEB site shows almost everything is sold out.
I have always called a miter saw when cutting wood with a blade that has teeth, I was always
told a chop saw is a disc with no teeth and is used for cutting metal. People always call a miter
saw a chop saw and will never understand that !!!
Looks like you've made a concerted effort to avoid CCP made tools wherever possible. Cheers to that.
It is hard but I do try... Much appreciated @LuckySeven-pj1iu!
I remember you doing your scrap cuttingboards in the garage. Is that the small shop you're talking about?
Thats the one
