I'm finally doing it. A shop tour of my woodworking shop that I've been working out of for the last 6 years. This tour includes my lumber storage that was inspired by Marc Spagnuolo of The Wood Whisperer, and my workbench that was based off of Johnny Brooke of Crafted Workshop. Find videos below for all of the shop cabinet builds.

Nice shop young grasshopper 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Nice shop setup kid, I like your energy, enthusiasm, and organization.
Thanks!
Could i suggest if you make any changes that you don't put your charging station in the same cabinet as pint thinners and aerosol cans. Other than that, inspiring shop. Love your wood rack.
Thanks for the tip
Man thanks for the shout out on the nighthawk dust boot definitely never expected that!
It’s a great product!!
Love how you are organized, but not super anal about openning draws slowly as to not disturb items in pictures purfect arrangement, in other word not a trophy display! my kind of shop!
I love your shop , so accurate and clean , amazing video 👏🏼
Thank you!
This guy is so excited to show us his shop…I subscribed immediately.
Haha thanks
I always enjoy a shop tour there always great for ideas to add to your own shop like your digital measuring read out on your sawstop I like and I want. Thanks for sharing I dig all your content and what your about
It’s one of my favorite accessories! I don’t see it being talked about enough
Thanks for your comment on Festool. I don’t own any as yet, but your comment on dust collection is why I am considering a few items.
Yeah dust collection was my main reason for buying Festool. Totally worth it!
Thanks so much for the tour, you’ve got a great setup!!
I’m new to your channel but I look forward to seeing your other videos!
Cheers!
Thank you! And welcome
The Festool dust collection is probably the pinnacle in the industry, I'll give you that.
My budget says "stick with DeWalt kid." 🤣
If it gets the job done, then it’s fine haha
your onefinity looks great! I just got mine and installed it on the wall since my sculpture studio is a little smaller than your shop. Tnx for all your help learning shapr3d! You’re our hero!
Mounting the Onefinity on the wall is sooo cool. I just happened to have a workbench for my previous CNC, which is why I didn’t get that option after I got the Onefinity. Otherwise, I would have gotten the wall mount as well. Thanks for watching!
Great workshop. Thanks for the tour.
Thanks for watching!
Awesome video, well shot and edited. Love your shop, great layout. Mahalo for sharing! : )
Thanks a lot!
Thank you for making this video! I'm looking to expand my shop and I have a ton of ideas now.
Thanks for watching!
Very cool great shop you make some awesome stuff can’t wait to see what you make for your shop
Thanks!
Nice shop. A great use of space!
Thank you so much! I’m sure I can do better 😅
Great video-gives me some inspiration to cleanup my shop!
My shop felt bigger after a cleanup haha
Your shop is looking fantastic, Alex! Congrats! 😃
I hope mine gets there some day.
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thank you!
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching
Nice.
😎
Really enjoyed your enthusiasm and tool purchase thoughts. It will really help down the road to buy the best , if you can spare it.
The only help I would suggest is when upgrading to a more powerful table is to use 220 volt, the three phase is more for commercial use.
Thanks for the suggestion
Nice shop! I’m upgrading my 2 car garage workshop and my next purchase is a sawstop, but the problem is the workbench that came with the house is too big. I also share the garage with a car and washer/dryer, so everything must be mobile. Seeing your shop gave me some ideas. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Always love a shop tour, yours was great. Yea the dog holes in the workbench sounds like a great idea, but it’s not. I used my CNC to make mine and hated it. Ended up replacing it with BB and laminate…sooooo much better. I have 1545 extrusion on the perimeter and this gives me enough clamping options I don’t miss them one bit.
Nice space
Thank you!
Great video!! I would like to learn more about CNC machines. How did you get started and how did you learn about moving from the Xcarve to your new setup?
I got started by watching CZcams videos. And I knew I wanted a screw driven machine after xcarve failed a couple of times when I was doing long carves
Great shop! A lot of stuff in your space and laid out well. I do like your beginning attitude of buying the best right out of the gate. I did not do that. And lessons were definitely learned. But I would have done better if I had skipped some pieces. LOL. I didn’t think about it till I saw a comment. No miter saw? Interesting. I had a huge miter station I built. Recently I dismantled it and my husband took it to the garage. I had intentions of building a new one and hurt my back. So I wasn’t able to. It has been several months since then and I have had my miter saw sitting to the side and haven’t used it once. There are so many other ways to get things done that I haven’t used it. I am rethinking what I’ll be building.
Yeah I crosscut everything at the table saw, and occasionally with my tracksaw
I saw these air tool connectors on a video and forgot where. I saw that you have them in your shop tour but you don't list them in your tools and supply list for the video. Could you supply the link or where you picked them up from? Thanks so much and I enjoy your videos and easy to understand explanations.
The air hose connectors on the bottom of my tool cabinet? I got those from Home Depot
Great to see a perfectly imperfect workshop, its organized until it isn't. Do you ever wish you had a miter saw, or do you get all your needs met by your crosscut sleds?
Thanks. No I’ve had a miter saw and got rid of it. I can do everything I need with my sled.
Question. Is your wall a omniwall? If so what are you using to hold your clamps up? Love the video and certainly some information i needed to hear!
No they’re Wallcontrol panels. Thanks for watching
Thank you for the shop tour. My Garage, my tool layout and the tools I have are almost the same as your shop. LOL. if you walked in my shop you would know where everything is. I also have the onefnity woodworker and in the same location in my garage. I feel like I am doing something right seeing your layout. LOL
Hahaha that’s amazing. I feel validated 😂
Wait a second. I see what you did there with walnut stool on the cnc. 👍🏽
:D
Great video! Can you please tell me about your lights?
Hey they’re just some 4000K lights I got off of Amazon. I think it was around $100 for 6.
Thanks for the shop tour - quick question though, do u use a miter saw at all?
Nope, I just crosscut at the table saw
What’s great run through of such a well organized space! As you’ve run the OneFinity CNC for a while on top of your torsion box top table, would you have changed anything on the table dimensions, such as the 42x50” top? (Wondering what the finished height of the table)
If I did it over again, I might have made it like 6-8” wider so I can keep the control box on the top
Thanks,@@BevelishCreations - I'm buying the table plans and plan to build one for the same CNC. It's been on my wish list and several reviews (including yours) put me over the top!
@m3sweatt626 thank you for your support!
where did you get the large table saw wrenches???
They came with the saw…I thought all saws came with them haha
So do companies come to you so their stuff is featured or do you approach them? How many subscribers does one need before companies come to a creator? I myself am a budding creator but right now my videos kinda suck. I just don’t have the time or knowledge for the editing aspect. Thanks and cool shop!
Companies will approach me most of the time. Number of subscribers doesn’t matter as much as quality of content for free tools. Companies care more about the creator using the tools and showing what it’s capable of. But subscriber numbers matter more if you’re getting paid by the company. Thanks for watching :)
Where are you getting walnut plywood at?
There are a couple of woodworking stores around me. One being Woodcraft
Your shop looks like mine.
Nice
I know this is after the fact but Jet seems to cost about 20% more then their values. I get an 8in grizzly from less then you 8". Same cutters. I like the laser cutter.
I want to build that cabnet you built.. Now that you said build it bigger I need to build 2 or resign it a little. I am starting a shop redesign.
Yeah grizzly is definitely cheaper. Usually needs a little more time for calibration
Def more cal time. I suspect they all come out of the same factories but JET tools have served me very well. I've just installed a 6 inch helical head from Elephas in my JET jointer. Better than a new machine now.
Awesome. No miter saw again. They are space hogs. Mine is huge and annoying.
Yeah haven’t needed a miter saw
Honestly couldn’t imagine not having one. Even if not for precise cuts, but just breaking down stock.
@SamWanamaker1 if I build a lot of large things all the time, I can see the benefits of a miter saw. But my crosscut sled works well for me
😕 Promo sm
Just ran across this vid. I enjoy seeing how other makers have set up thier spaces especially if they are small like my half garage. Couple things....I noticed you have some microjig clamps going into dog holes on your bench. The top of my medium level Sjoberg bench is only an inch thick, I'm wondering if those would work through it.
Have you checked out Dubuque aluminum bar clamps? I picked up 4 24 inch ones last year. Beyond excellent tools. Spendy but buy once cry once. Some 48's are in my future. Def worth checking out. Be safe and happy!
Taipan Woodworks
Yep these will work well with the Sjoberg bench. I haven’t checked out the Dubuque clamps. I’ll be sure to check those out thanks for the recommendation
