- I've been patiently waiting on this one, MooMoos. I wanted to release something the first day of promotions, but I used all my willpower to wait a few weeks and observe how HIP performed more long term.
Needless to say, I wasn't disappointed! Glad I was able to get this out within a month of their comeback promotions this time!

MooMoos are growing every day. This comeback was a shock to all old moos. First day 5M views on Official YT channel. The 50,000 Album's on the first day was insane, I couldn't believe it. 5 wins against IU, Noel and Exo, that's impressive, we were expecting only 1. HIP is still fighting in the top 10 charts with all the comebacks. Have you seen all the dance covers of HIP? We get one new per day. And being in the CZcams rewind... Wasn't even in my dreams. This comeback is HUGE, I am so proud of my Queens.

While sadly most girl groups have a time limit before they "peak" and start becoming less popular, Mamamoo continue to defy the odds and gain more well-deserved fans and recognition day by day. Queens 😍

@@whoareyou4953 to be fair i think the main reason for less wins this comeback was because so many shows were cancelled during the week they were winning but also yes its quite common for groups to start declining in their 6th and most groups disband in their 7th year+ due to contract renewals
@@ikra291 I read about it... Probably 4+ wins if the shows wasn't cancelled, it was bad luck. Am I to late to Stan Mamamoo? 2021 is going to be the year their contract ends? They are not in their peak yet 😭, not even close. I'm getting sad.

As an "old moo" I can't help but cry a little bit at these stats. They literally came from nothing and went up to the top, through their hard work and consistent love of their fans. I can't wait to see how much they will continue to grow in 2020

I'm just impressed that HIP is still in top 10 Melon chart 3 weeks after release despite digimons releasing music and sajaegi controversy
They are the only idol song and one of only two 'dance' songs in top 10, the rest are either ballad or christmas songs
Well that's because they all have a great taste in music which can captivate others easily...pure talent..

@@aileean19 digimon aka digital monster like IU, davichi, jung seung hwan(?), those are the ones I know popular among koreans so whenever they release music, it always charts well
And sajaegi (chart manipulation) is hot topic atm (it's been for a while actually) because out of nowhere the chart is filled with ballad songs. Ofc not all ballad singers use sajaegi to chart high, but some are really suspicious

@@Mal-kj8of Most kpop groups make multiple versions of same album. The album cover-design are different in each version. Sometimes photobooks, photo card etc diff too (different versions aka different look/design).
It's just a way to increase album sales

Like what mamamoo has been saying many times, they want everyone to know they are not just idol, but musicians, artists, etc. mainly they chose performance rather than appearance and popularity. I was honestly surprised we got any wins at all, after that 1st loss against IU, and all those music show cancellations in the 1st week, I thought we'd be lucky to get one... but then we got a second... And a third... then a 4th! Then the 5th came out of nowhere while we were all upset about the MMAs! Literally as the award show was happening!! I had emotional whiplash!😭

Technically it's not just off ONE song. They did present Destiny first for Queendom Finale and they also prepared Ten Nights for live performance in some shows (and that song made waves just from the teaser on the album medley before the album came out). Sure HIP is the title track and driving force of this album's promotion but I don't think saying it's the only song is a fair statement. But I'm just being picky, I blame Mamamoo for whipping me with perfection.
