- I made this video to give Gogobebe the respect it deserves. I barely made it in time for the end of the White Wind era and the beginning of reality in Black.
Better late than never though, right? I'm still knocking off a lot of rust MooMoos, so if I made any mistakes or the quality is not what you've come to expect from my channel, please be patient with me!

i feel like mamamoo is the dark horse of kpop. they came from a small company and climbed their way up with their pure talent, amazing songs and wonderful personalities. and now even after 5 years, they are still growing, skyrocketing even, in popularity. most groups would already be reaching their idle state (not much increase or decrease in popularity) or shaky state (the infamous 7-year mark), but mamamoo keeps rising higher and higher. their fame is basically set in stone in korea, so i feel that all they gotta do now is have a world tour (a legit world tour, not just around asia) and their popularity will be solidified internationally.
kind of like gfriend in some ways, but i feel like gfriend isnt doing so hot right now

although I agree, I understand RBW's hesitation to do a world tour considering how many groups did it expecting to hit jackpot but ended up in loss. I think a SEA tour at first is the best next option.

@@pnas812 of course they will sell, but will it turn to profit? I'm not underestimating mmm's fanbase and multis but the cost of a tour is no joke. Tickets alone would barely cover the cost that's why most concerts also sells merch and also need sponsorship.

They show other girls that it's okay to be who you re and to not listen to what others say . Their personalities are strong and they are not afraid to speak their mind . Not to mention everyone agrees they have the best vocals in a girl group and amazing charismatic stage presence . They are not just very talented but highly respectable women

I have to disagree with your opening statements. I thought 2019 was one of the best years so far for Girl Groups. Red Velvet was awesome, Blackpink went on a World Tour as did Twice. Brown Eyed Girls had a comeback, Queendom brought attention back to AOA and put Bom back in the spotlight, as well as OMG, Lovelyz and (G) I-dle. Itzy was the best rookie group this year. Girl groups had far more attention in the states this year than they ever have before. I can't speak for Boy Groups as much but BTS seems to have done well. As a Moomoo, I appreciate the spotlight you are putting on Queendom's Champions and our Goddesses, but don't downplay the success of other groups in 2019 just to emphasize your point. Always appreciate feedback. For this particular statement, it's not really my opinion but a matter of just the numbers. Idols as a whole did not have anywhere near the numbers we're used to seeing from them in 2019. A rookie girl group debut was by far the best performing song digitally so far and even the top groups had a hard time staying on the charts. If you look at the Melon Music Awards, this year only 3 idol groups made the list (Mamamoo was 1 of 3) while last year it was 7 or 8. So I'm not bashing any groups. It IS true that the Korean public moved away from idol music in 2019 and soloists reigned. But the video was made because I've seen so many people disregarding the achievements of Mamamoo this year and just assuming they underperformed this year like everyone else. By the way, I just commented about Mamamoo radishes somewhere, and I think it is worth sharing that most Americans think of radishes as the little round red & white ones used in salads called garden radishes or Radieschen. Mamamoo radishes are called Daikon radishes and while common in Asia, are usually only found in Asian grocery stores in the United States. I had one cooked once. I don't think I could eat one now, it would seem wrong somehow, like cannibalism ;)

Because of their down-to-earth and positive personality with their natural talents and hard work, they are becoming more successful 💕. My fave Girl crush group and I love how funny they are 🥰. New fan 😂
At the end of the day, no matter how gorgeous some idols are, people get bored if they don’t have the raw talent of this level that mamamoo has. They will always be a solid group for everyone to love, and for more casual fans to fall back on when the novelty wears off from other groups that don’t have the it factor they do.
I hope their success carries on with HIP and their new album.
