Retinols are really good, definitively one of my staples. Probably the best anti-aging ingredient and is often used against acne. Would really recommend for anyone (any skin) with the other 3 basics. You can also easily find moisturizing sunscreen to speed up the morning routine.
Some dermatologist also say to not cleanse 2 times a day and only do it before bed because it can damage the natural protection our skin makes, just like you don't want to wash yourself more than once a day.

I would really appreciate a video about how to have clear skin in those areas as well!

If you’re talking about acne in general, go for products like body wash with ingredients like salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. I have a lot of bacne so my dermatologist suggested using naturium’s salicylic body spray, so you can leave on that product on your body instead of washing it off. Since these products are active ingredients, you would want to leave them on so they’re doing the work. If you are using a body wash medium, you’ll want to let the product sit for 4-5 minutes before washing it off. If you use a loofah, switch it out often or buy washable scrubs, cause bacteria grows in moist environments, which can make you breakout. I personally use silicone brushes.
If it’s rough, dry textured, bumpy, you can try amlactin. I have eczema, cetaphil and cerave’s basic moisturizers and slugging with a petrolatum based product have really helped manage my dryness. Any itching or rashes, try oatmeal or zinc based products. If you’re dealing with hyperpigmentation you can try glycolic acid, helps renew your skin and is very light on sensitivity. At the end of the day, talk to your dermatologist. They would know your skin best. I also recommend watching dr dray, doctorly, lab muffin beauty science, if you haven’t heard of them. They give great tips for taking care of your skin.

If you have dry or problematic skin There’s no need to wash your face twice daily. You risk stripping your skin of oils,, and could trigger issues.
I have oily acne prone skin and even for me washing once in the evening, apply bha and moisturizer, and apply spf in the morning makes my skin happy.
I would add that chemical there is a ton of fear mongering with chemical sunscreens. From reputable brands,, They are safe and work very well. Plus they do not clump in beard or facial hair, and are suitable for a broader range of skin tones.

Honestly, just washing my face with just water in the morning is more than enough (unless i've had a rough sweaty night or did face basting) and honestly, I tend to stay away from actives in my cleanser, as i'll just wash em off within seconds whitout them having time to actually have any effect. (which is just such a waste of money) If i want to use a salicylic acid (or glycolic or pha or whatever else) for a peel, I'll apply it after washing my face, let it sit for a couple minutes and then wash it off again (with just water) before applying anything else that'll sit on my face till i next wash my face. I separate my actives from my cleanser, because i do not want to just wash those actives down the drain without getting them have the full effect (if any at all). Which is just a huge waste of money.
Same with actives in my moisturizer. As I do have dryer skin, I do want something that actually hydrates my skin at all time, but when it comes to actives like retinol(vit a), niacinamide(vit b3), panthenol (vit b5), ascorbic acid (vit c), and other actives, I really want them on a case by case basis. Eg. as I'm around 40, I'm using retinoids, but my skin can't handle it every night, so i have that as an extra step, instead of putting it in the moisturizer. Also, plenty of moisturizers that come with certain actives that i may want, also come with actives that i don't care for or don't need, or that my skin reacts to, which is another reason to not opt for an all in one solution for me)
So I suppose I may have more separate products, but really my skincare is still just cleanse, actives, moisturizer, sunscreen. so 4 steps during the day time and 3 at night... And I've separated actives from both cleanser and moisturizer for more targeted use and i actually know what i'm putting on my face and why. I mean, I could premix certain combinations and put them into glass containers and make it into a 3 step day time routine, but then there may be interactions between the products happening in the containers that i don't want and stuff.(eg. the vit c and vit a derivatives might break down much faster when in different containers or when in contact with some stuff thats in the moisturizer.) or I can just mix them on my hand before applying everything in one go if i'm in a bit of a rush. assentially still keeping it at a 3 step routine, with the added step of mixing stuff on my hand.
As for sunscreens, why oh why do americans like to keep spreading weird tales about chemical sunscreens and saying they're bad... they're not. They're actually great. xD but oh well...
Anyway, if you really want to simplify it further, get two moisturizers, one for night time without spf and a daytime moisturizer with spf50. no need to add that extra sunscreen step.
Then you can get a 2 step routine; 1. cleanse, 2. moisturize, done.
So while yes, having that 20+ steps is, even in my eyes, kinda ridiculous (Especially when marketed as a k-beauty routine, when there's no korean person i know that actually uses that many steps in their routine on a regular basis anyway and it seems more of a marketing thing for celebrities to be able to promote more products in a single skincare video), I personally do not like to oversimplify it either, as the convenience comes at the cost of price and a less customizable skincare routine. Kinda like having a hello fresh meal kit and cooking it yourself with stuff they provide for you, or custimze my cooking by actually picking out the ingredients i want to make the meal perfectly suited to my own tastes on that specific given moment. Yes, it'll take a bit longer to select the ingredients on the website before having them delivered, but probably not much longer than scrolling through the list of meal packages and trying to figure out which one of their m eals would suit my taste at that moment and then just order that. //alternatively, driving a premade car vs driving a customized car...
    regardless, rant over... xD

Is that the same sunscreen you would use for your whole body for vacations?
Also, You should do a vid where you try the “fully natural” skincare for a month and confirm wether or not the hype is real or bs. This would be valuable for alot of people

That's funny I just got the paulas choice chemical exfoliant too, I know it says use hands Or cotton pad, have you had better results/experience using cotton pad even though they seem like they absorb more of the product than hands?

“It's a popular misconception that retinol is an exfoliant. It isn't, because it cannot break the bonds that hold dead skin cells to the surface. Retinol is an antioxidant that promotes cell turnover, and an important skin-restoring ingredient that can impact how skin cells mature.”

Guys he might be right but BEFORE introducing some acid into your skin, check your skin barrier and take care of it for at least 1 month. Then you can slowly ad acid into your routine. Start always with low pourcentage first and then SLOWLY INCREASE as YOUR skin permit.

tretinoin or another form of retinol is all you need.
in the beginning of using it you might want to use a moisturizer because it can dry your skin out when you're adjusting to it.
if you have dry skin in general it's because you shower too warm. all the oils on your body will dissolve in warm water.
warm water is extremely rare in nature so human bodies are not adjusted to it.
go as cold as you can and maybe luke warm will be fine just see how your skin feels and adjust accordingly, but wasting a bunch of money on moisturizers is stupid. cleaners are not needed because a shower is a cleanser like water is an amazing cleanser by itself.
sunscreen is a weird one. we don't know the effects long term of all those chemicals on our body, however short term they're safe to use. i personally like minimizing the amount of chemicals i use so I personally only use sunscreen to avoid sunburns.
