honestly, I’ve been cheesing the emergency retreat feature. I’d use the sacheen or lancer for NR and just pop them everywhere to disorient the enemy fleet. It helps establish a good position for me to pop them. As well as this, it’s good to not lose any ships haha

How to dominate with new republic
Step one: change boarding success to 100.
Step oneA: build a bunch of boarding shuttles
Step two: Laugh as you waltz off with an Imperial, Independent, Chiss or Corporate fleet....

The Nebula Star Destroyers are surgical offensive weapons at a distance. What I have personally learned. I tend to make an L formation when it comes to putting my fleets into action. Letting the MC80A's on the sides while the smaller line is full of weaker armored but higher fire power ships. When the long side with MC80A's or stolen ISD's starts to wear down the enemy I push the smaller side of The L formation(put the L in whatever shape works for the battle or terrain such as asteroids)forward in order to force the enemy fleet to break up their formation.
I also use a strategy about the NR basically spamming MC90 on the enemy. Taking down their capital ship. Than have 1 CC-7700 to prevent retreat
Any chance you do something similar for the Fall of the Republic? I've got plenty of experience with Thrawns Revange but still struggling with fleet composition for Fall of the Republic...

A great early game strategy is to farm revolt fleets at Kashyyk and get a ton of free units.

I usually prefer to force the enemy fleet onto my guns, I always try to keep reinforcements but usually I just take casualties and replace them, because, most of the time, I can replace them and if not I just don't engage. I usually find the "fast and maneuverable" ships to be really squishy and not really worth it since they at one point will get highlighted and they just won't be able to take the heat. I usually just tend towards durable allrounders to grind the enemy down and use fighters to pursue the ones that manage to run, because again, the fighters don't cost me anything if they die, but if they catch the ship, they just knocked out a ship that potentially could have escaped and then will attack me later on. I personally find that small ships in EAWx just aren't worth much and usually just fill up pop. cap, at least for the EAWx mods.
Small ships have lots of laser cannons so there good at killing fighters that will be certainly charging your capital ships
Well; the only small ships i ever build as NR are Qsar carriers. Overwhelming the Imperial factions' fighter screen and bomb them to death.
Bring 20+ to kill an Executor very slowly....

@@cabbage1707 yes, but I count on having overall, just more fighters and even if I don't, as the NR I can count on those fighters being just flat out better or if not, I will simply have crushed the enemy fleet before or knocked out their hangars if not, my capital ship's fighter compliment will usually try to delay the enemy, having maybe 2-3 corvettes is probably the most I will need as 1 pathfinder/distraction/sacrifice and the others as support
@@huntermad5668 I do agree that they can be useful, but pound for pound they just aren't worth it, I find that if you use enough capital ships, although in that specific battle you might take more casualties, SSDs are usually pretty rare overall, so I consider it a bit of a niche thing, and if not, just get a high level station and an anti orbital gun of some kind if you don't want to take too many casualties.

Yes unless you try to board two then ships will get erased from existence

Eck would absolutely hate the submod that turns the MC80 home ones into basicly just a bit bigger then MC80 libertys.
I use only the ships that belong to that faction.
I don't steal ships unless I need to research things from it.

Hello there
I still hate that the Nebula class SD has SO little Health, I mean come on, that thing isn't anything close to a glass cannon in Legends, if You didn't want it to outclass the MC90, atleast make the Nebula have more hull damage to be on par with Imperial Star Destroyers (all of the ones that are not a Battlecruiser)

Why?
Venator is overall inferior to MC cruiser you can build with discount on MC.
@@huntermad5668 Oh trust me Hunter I won Many battles with the MC and Venator Combo. I have several battle and defense Fleets with them even Super Capital ships

Better to just pump out capitals.
It is good in this version of Eck but Fighter/Bomber is the supporting forces in my fleet not the primary.
When hypervelocity gun everywhere. You want to end the battle quickly with capitals not slow death from bombers
