    Making this for my wife now, so she can cosplay Rey for The Rise of Skywalker this month. I watched a couple videos and liked your technique the best. I built a complete Ghostbusters cosplay, so think I can handle this.

    Thanks for the tutorial. I made this for my 10 year old daughter this weekend. I have to say it is pretty hefty.

    Your videos are great. One improvement I would make is adhere the leather to the webbing with E6000 or fabric glue so they want to stay one piece.

    The 3/4 inch D-Rings look identical to the one used for Anakin's/Luke Skywalker's/Rey's lightsaber in Episodes 4, 5, and the sequel trilogy.

    I never worked with conduit before, but could you use a hacksaw to cut through it or is it too tough?

      Hello, thank you for watching. That tool, I believe, is called a reamer. It came with a set of lexan scissors that I purchased. Here is the tool by itself: amzn.to/2FOAM3O Good luck on your build :)

    Have you made a DLT-19 or DLT-20A heavy blaster rifle?

    • @HappyTrooperDotCom
      @HappyTrooperDotCom  Před 7 lety

      No, I have not, I would love to make a DLT-19 one day. I have made a T-21, but I did not make a video for it. I used someone else's blueprints and documented my experience on my blog: wp.me/p6OqN2-1jn

      Please do this! I am yet to see anyone make a blaster larger than a blaster pistol from scratch. All the ones I've seen are of repainted kits. Nothing wrong with a good repaint, but would love to see someone do it from scratch!

    where did you get the sand trooper armor?

    • @HappyTrooperDotCom
      @HappyTrooperDotCom  Před 7 lety +3

      My armor is from Anovos.com. They do not specifically sell "Sandtrooper" armor. While Sandtrooper armor is almost identical to Stormtrooper armor, there are a few subtle differences. I have a blog post listing most of the differences, here: happytrooper.com/?p=5354 The shoulder pauldron is from trooperbay.com. The backpack is scratch built and has an MP40 ammo pouch attached to the left backpack strap.

  • @CollectionTHX1138

    Another nice one. How dare you ruin perfectly good pieces of plumbing lol Remember Daffy Duck's Robin Hood Buck & a Quarter Quarter Staff ; Those winter boots work out well. That's the thing about costumes is the shoes can make a difference. Such as a real Stormtrooper wears Italian boots with rich Corinthian leather lol MTFBWY
