It's actually a Mg 15 (German) which was first used as aircraft machine gun, but later also used in ground combat. The Mg 15 for ground combat were modified with a bipod and a special stock

I can see someone Kit-bashing this with the DLT 19 to make a version of Carasynthia Dune's Dual Barrel heavy blaster rifle (from The Mandalorian, took out Strom-Troopers easy enough).
Is it me, or does almost all blasters seem to be front heavy designs? Is that the same with these props?

Haha, thank you, I will. I have been working on a screen accurate R2 unit (moveable with sounds) since late August. I have tunnel vision, and I've only been able to focus on completing the droid for the past few months. While I won't be doing a video on how to build one (way too time consuming), I hope to have R2 join me in future prop builds. Thank you for watching, and for the gentle push to get back into prop making. I have some ideas, and hope to get back on the workbench once R2 is complete.

Hello, I'm from Argentina, is there something wrong or are the measures different between you. And we, all measures and you do it with a different one, the 3 "ammunition drums are small next to the 2" body spout and in your photos or work they appear larger, the difference between 1 "and 2" of the refrigerated cannon and the firing cannon are very little the difference and in your work it is different it seems smaller, help me clarify everything, thanks I wait for your info

@@HappyTrooperDotCom if you haven't already, (or maybe it's the next video) you should make an A280-C. That's one of my favorite guns in Star wars and I could justify buying the parts. (Also maybe a 1/1 scale E-11 build? I'm not a huge fan of the rubies one, although you did great customizing it!)
I am willing to pay for a scaled down and printable template for the barrel . I make my MG 15 with a different size pipe.
