Love the idea of making your own dryer sheets. I always hate how much they cost and they always make my dryer smell like burnt whatever scent I buy. I'm gonna try this and hopefully it leaves a minimal scent. I just switched to more of the less scented detergents. Like oxi stain fighting...1 because it works so much better on my very dirty families clothes and two it just smells better. I always do 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water in a spray bottle to spray the couch, matteress, dog bed etc.. After it drys it just leaves a nice fresh scent of basically nothing. I'm sure you could add some orange or something to make it have a slight scent. I don't mind vinegar at all. I quite love the scent but if you hate it then it's easy to just spray and then leave the house for your errands and it dries quickly.

Also that's a great ironing board because a lot of store bought ones are difficult to work with, bulky, and have really ugly patterns on them.

Love your videos! I really like the dryer sheets diy, I'm going to give it a try! I've been using vinegar as a softer, but my washer doesn't have a container for a softer so I always forget to come back at the rinse cycle to add it.

The DIY ironing board is genius!!!
A trick my mom has done for over 20 years is using liquid glue(the goopy kind you have in big bottles/not elmers) and water mixed together to make a starch solution. It gives the best crisp ironed results for shirts. It's so cheap and effective!
Afsah B you just spray it on before you iron right? Or could I put it in the steaming part of my iron where water goes
Aisha Ahmed it's better the mixture is not heated otherwise the tackiness of the glue can alter and goop up on the clothes. Spraying before ironing is what works best :)
you could also just mix cornstarch and water... spray it on then iron
Afsah B I've never heard of that sort of glue. Do you have a specific brand(s) to suggest? Also, is it stinky at all? I have the nose of a bloodhound and can't tolerate any chemical scents, we pay extra to go to the green dry cleaners because it's the only cleaning stuff my nose doesn't detect. EO's are fine for me though. Thanks!

Rachel you are the DIY queen! I wish I could spruce up my laundry room but it kind of looks like a hole. it has pipes all over the roof, a scary dark closet that has the furnace etc inside and a ugly concrete floor!
