I am impressed with the thoroughness of this video. I was concerned that I would have to do trial and error to get the polarity of the LEDs correct. Your presenting the chart to show each individual LED position was a great aid. I decided that I would use a solder sucker to clear the holes. I don't like to overheat connections and braid also applies more heat than I desire. Thank you, FUS Attempted Repair for a very helpful video.
Thank you so much for being so thorough! Just did mines .
Killer video, fantastic, the lights in my Tahoe are so dim, thank you!
Thank you so much for being so thorough!
I will be doing this on mines , thanks for the video I’ll revisit when I do mine
Awesome video;Thanks.
Now you just need to do the window remotes ! Great videos
, thanks for the video I’ll revisit when I do mine
Great resource thanks!
muchas gracias por compartir su conocimiento
Good video thank you
Just curious, there are 11 bulbs to that cluster, but yet the LED kit you listed the eBay link to is a kit of only 10 LEDs
I soldered my bottom row and the lights don’t come on at all. I had positive in right spot . Wonder what happen
Hi. Thanks for your videos!! I have learned so much what I need to do to switch to blue LED’s in My 2005 F350. The problem is I don’t trust myself doing it and I can’t find anyone anywhere around to do it. I need to do my climate control, info, and steering wheel controls. Would you be interested in in doing them? Of course for a price. I have everything tore apart and ready. Also I have the LED’s. Please let me know. Thank You.
Ur a saint
Do u know if i would be able to add these typ of gauges to my Silverado or would i have to change the pigtail on mine i have the other type with the climaiin the middle and not the knobs
You have any videos on clusters for these year trucks ?
Is this Polarity diagram the same for a 2008 trailblazer LT
Is the polarity the same for 06 trailblazer with manual ac? Thanks
❤❤❤
can you fix the dim led readout though? if so where do i send it. i have the aftermarket version in my truck, oem went out long ago
Hey do you guys sell a kit that has bulbs for the dash cluster, light switch cluster and climate control? I’m trying to get them all at once instead of buying each kit seperate, I ordered my dash kit from tachtronics but haven’t gotten anything back from them lol
How would I determine if I have # 4892 or 4893 diagram?
Thanks you.
Will the dimmer switch work with the CUBE LEDS...? Will the LED DIM with switch
Very nice and informative video. A question please. My numbers are skipping very bad. Even if you turn clockwise to increase the temperature, the numbers go up and down. I might can get it to 72 and one more turn will make it go back down to 60. Will the Deoxit spray fix this and would I have to take the front black faceplate off or can I get away with it by just removing the buttons while the unit is still installed in the car? Kind regards.
worked for me and I used mass airflow cleaner
Where can I download those diagrams for polarity sir?
I did mine, they lit up, for about a hour nd then all my lights turned off, what can it be?
What pins are negative and positive?
Can u change the led screen to white?
Great video! I didn't trim the LED leads until after soldering them in. Makes it easier to make sure the orientation is correct. I used the link to buy the LEDs on eBay. They are sold in batches of 10. Unfortunately, you need 11 to replace all of them. Had to get an extra one to do the complete job. Why not sell in batches of 12, in case someone makes a mistake?
I do plan on offering a 12pc kit for that specific reason for the auto climate controls. It’s the only module that uses that many on its own so it’s kind of an oddball. Have just kept it to 10pc and 25pc for a while just for ease of packaging
Great video. I do happen to have the other version board with the plug at the top. I don't see the revision comment if the specific light positions you pointed out are the correct ones with reversed polarity for the lights. Were you right on those positions?
Did you get an answer yet? mine is the same (the other version)

@@Vault-TechSolutions appreciate this! Helps out tremendously. Thanks again...
Do you sell these already with blue led?
Where do you buy the led lights?
How can I rebuild it so the buttons are accurate with the numbers as I move it up and down. I move the nobs colder or hotter and the numbers jump all over
That's the deoxit spray he mentioned, removes any oxidation within the knobs causing the numbers to jump around. If that doesn't fix it, you'll need to replace the bad knob.

i cant fin this climate control led for tahoe 2002
The climate control in my silverado 2005 is not automatic, and has two different lights, the centers ones are 6v and the rest are 3 v, can I use the same square led in all places? Can you help on this?
Yes you can but the center 3 volt may be dimmer than 6 volt . Most 5mm LEDs are 3-6 volts.
@@j1mmyv707 I have 50 blue leds of 3mm and they are 3v. I installed one of those on the center with a 1k resistor, and works, but I just put one. And I do not know if I can install this LEDs directly on the rest of the places. What do you think.? This 3mm LEDs are clears.
You can use the 5MM 12 volt cube ones i listed for all the bulbs on your 05 Slider style climate. The leds have a resistor inside them so they work from 3 volts to 12 volts
i installed exactly how the diagram was and had only 2 working
I had none working wtf
are these 5mm leds or 3mm?
5mm , if you don’t want to modify the blower speed control you can put a 3mm one there also. Working on making a listing for a kit with the x10 5mm and 1 3mm for that reason
Can I just send the cluster and climate controls to you and pay you? Lol
You didn’t show how bright they are or the color at all
He showed the board powered up and the LEDs lit up at 15:40. What more do you need?
i just dont understand why people dont take care of the fingers loose skin just hanging out. cut it before you film it is nasty. simple use nail clippers sorry but nasty.
