@@manticore2804 fastest jets go at 4,500 mph. Russia is 5,000+ miles away from ny (Metropolis is in Delaware, so it’s even further). Ignoring all the obvious setbacks (storms, airspace, boarding the plain, etc), it would take a minimum of an hour and a half.

Ergo, Batman doesn’t have any technology that hasn’t been invented, except for what has previously been established in the story, and what reasonable stretches of the imagination allow. Since when the movie takes place there isn’t confirmed to be human jets that can fly that fast, there aren’t.
