Amazing breakdown

Repent and believe the gospel!
@@EternalLifeWithJesusChristnot sure if jesus would randomly go up to strangers and say “yo you guys repent”…, so please don’t do it either :)
Sounds great
Aww yeah Bears In Trees
Why do i have a delay on bandlab
The Bandlab team have created a handy article that explains how to reduce noticable latency when working with Bandlab -
help.bandlab.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002959414-How-do-I-troubleshoot-latency
If you're working with Scarlett, you can also use the direct monitoring feature to hear the signal from your inputs in real-time, without any noticeable latency.
I might be wrong, but does that dude work in a small music shop in Brighton that sells mainly dj equipment, headphones and amps? The one talking to us

@@FocusriteTV that's crazy, it is him lmao
Team Presonus Studio One users here!
Damn what camera are you using to record ??
Can you hear the vocals without recording. Like live monitoring. If so how can you do that and also have reverb or echo at the same time
Yes, absolutely. The Direct Monitoring feature can be used to monitor your input in real-time, without any noticable latency by taking the input signal and sending it straight to the outputs, bypassing software. This means that you won't hear any processing that you may have applied but you can switch off Direct Monitoring and use the input monitoring feature in your DAW to monitor from your DAW with any processing that you may have applied.
How can I record video alongside with microphone? Any free software?
Focusrite Scarlett devices come bundled with a copy of Ableton Live Lite. While it features fewer features than Ableton Live Suite, it still has plenty of tools to get you started, recording audio with your new interface and microphone. If you haven't already you can register your device and install your software in your Focusrite Customer portal.

Is this good for recording piano?
Yes, Scarlett is great for recording piano. depending on how many microphones you would like to use, there is a Scarlett that can handle the job. Here is an article that offers some possible techniques for miking and recording pianos: mxlmics.com/micing-a-piano/#:~:text=If%20you%20are%20using%20a,should%20be%20at%20full%20stick.
Is that a stereo voice recording?
Looking for a mic boom for mine. What boom are you guys using here?
Any good-quality mic stand will work well. Scarlett Studio comes with an adapter that can be fitted to a variety of different stands.
Can you please teach me how to record clean vocals by using 2i2 studio on GarageBand. I’m just beginner
Absolutely! Are you set-up yet? If not, we've created a Help Centre article that will help you with that -

Have you been able to record but found the recording to be unclear? If so, what is your current recording set-up?
@@FocusriteTV Thank you.
What mic stand do you use ?
Right. Everyone knows that's the real secret to great vocals.
Sorry Condenser mics get the whole area sound specially pianos keys how to avoid get clear sounds? Thanks
Hi, apologies, I'm not sure I understand your question. Do you need assistance recording with your Scarlett?
So I wanna b a rapper not a singer n could yu connect tha microphone on desktop too ?
Scarletts can be connected to compatible Mac, iOS, and Windows devices. If you have questions about connecting to your computer, please reach out to our support team at the link below:

Can I use Rode mics or Audio Technica mics ?
yes
Of course. Dynamic mics are great for certain stuff too.
Do you both use headsets to hear that is being recorded or you put it out on the speakers and add background sound to the vocal track?
Here, monitoring was achieved using headphones rather than speakers, and that's generally the best option for recording a clean vocal with minimal extraneous sound. Capturing background sound on the vocal track can create problems during the mixing phase and the combined signals could cause phase cancellation.
@@FocusriteTV perfect. So both had headphones.
Usually you add voice monitoring on the vocalist headphones or not?
They're ultimately creative decisions. There's no right and wrong. Some vocalists might want to hear themselves during recording. Some vocalists might also prefer to use speakers rather than headphones when recording.
vocals is good for singing and recording?
Ummmm...what?
what program do you use to edit the song? (like all the famous artists)
Afraid we don't fully understand your question. Is there a specific element of the song that you're hoping to recreate?
Scarlett 4th Gen comes bundled with a suite of software options so you'll have everything that you need to record and produce music on Mac and Windows PC.
Pro tools is probably what you are referring to but studio one is extremely user friendly and not expensive.
Realtime auto tune is working on scarlett ??? How it sounds ?
Yes, it's certainly possible to use plugins in realtime while recording, such as Auto-Tune however this can introduce noticeable latency (a slight delay in the audio coming back to you). Latency can be influenced by things like the buffer size and the processing speed/performance of your computer.
What’s this song I like this
What does clipping mean?
Clipping is when an input signal is a too high, and the captured audio is distorted. You can avoid digital clipping by making sure your gain level isn't too high for the sound source you are capturing.
What’s the song called ?
'Kind Love' by Bears In Trees
What’s the pop shield you use called? Or do you recommend getting whichever one?
Dense Foam windscreens will be the easiest to manage for most people. If you find you're missing some high end, you can add back 1-3db of high end frequencies in your EQ.
The one used in the video is a very standard disc style filter. Dual layer or more is best if you use that style.
world’s most expensive setup but ok
For a less expensive option, you may want to check out Scarlett Solo 4th Gen Studio (£239.99) - focusrite.com/products/scarlett-solo-studio
Podcast?
While this example shows vocals being tracked for music, this method will work great for podcasting as well!
Don't you need acoustic soundproof to record such a clear sound?
That ultimately depends on the space that you're recording in. Acoustic treatment can undoubtedly be beneficial but it's also possible to achieve good results and comparable clarity when recording in some spaces without treatment.
@@FocusriteTV really. Am surprised to hear that. Cud u pls tell me lil bit that kind of space... Bcos if possible dat will save a lot of money... Thanks
@@samsheldon1841 listen to the acoustics of the room while singing or rapping. If it sounds bad you need treatment. If it sounds good you dont. Recording and listening back helps too if you dont know what your listening for. Same thing if it's to much reverb or echo then treat the room until it's where you like it.
What’s the plug ins?
Here we're working with Bx_console Focusrite SC, Relab’s LX480 Essentials and Antares Auto-Tune Access in Pro Tools Artist. You get all of this and more with Scarlett! - focusrite.com/software/hitmaker-expansion
@@FocusriteTV are they free?
@@FocusriteTV I have the 2nd Gen solo studio, does hitmaker not work with that?
Afraid not. The Hitmaker Expansion is only bundled with Scarlett 4th Gen, Scarlett 3rd Gen, Clarett+, Clarett USB and Red audio interfaces, purchased and registered on or after July 1st 2023.
@@FocusriteTV spewing, can I buy the plugins then?
What software should I use and how and where is the serial number on the 2i2 studio version
That's entirely up to you! If you'd like to record, Scarlett is compatible with most DAWs and audio apps. We also bundle some options with Scarlett, such as Ableton Live Lite, which is a solid choice.
If you have a Scarlett 3rd Gen, it should automatically be recognised, so no need to manually enter a serial when registering. This information is also printed on the bottom of the audio interface itself and will be a combination of letters and numbers.
Watch some videos bro. No one is gonna teach you how to record music in a comment section. Lol
I knew it was in. Auto tune.
dont gotta hate lmao
Remember to Not do that if you are using a ribbon microphone, because it will Explode 💀💀
Do what? Referring to phantom power? That does have the potential to damage ribbon mics, we'd certainly advise that not be used when working with ribbon microphones.
