In an underground Chinatown eatery where the "Russian roulette" regulars came to play and just when a Kung Fu Death Match spilled over into our kitchen recording space, spectators and all. The match ended abruptly when a stray bullet hit one of the match contestants whose opponent won by a default judgement. I kept recording and the cooks kept cooking like nothing had happened. I guess they were used to it. It was during a folk music recording for the "The Folksmen" if I remember correctly. They asked for "ambience" and so I gave it to them.

I donât play any musical instrument. How do I record a vocal using karaoke music from CZcams?
Hey, Marie! The best way to record your vocals on top of a karaoke track is with a small home studio setup. Youâll want to get a recording software, which will allow you to record and edit both your vocal track, and the backing track that youâre recording with. And youâll need an audio interface and microphone, which will enable to you record your vocals.
Iâve copied a couple links below that weâve premade on the website. These come with everything from software, to microphones, to headphones, etc. Essentially, if you purchase this, youâll have everything you need to start recording!

Something Nick forgot to mention is, if you do end u getting an SM7B, or any other dynamic microphone to record vocals with, you will need something whats called a "Cloudlifter". Since dynamic microphones tend to have a low output. The cloudlifter is basically an additional FIXED volume preamp which is added between the microphone and interface, it just adds a little bit of a CLEAN boost of volume to the signal going into the interface so you wont have to turn up your interface all the way up and introduce some extra noise floor to the signal.
Most mid range or higher end interfaces have enough gain without needing the cloudlifter
@@chdrummer Doubt it. I have a iConnectAUDIO4+ I have to turn the gain to 75% without a cloudlifter. And only 30% with a cloudlifter. Theres floor noise introduce into my recording without a cloudlifter
â@@romodrummer He said "mid or higher end".
@@ParadNorthProd But, why would high end interfaces be worse than mid range interfaces... Because that makes so much sense.
@@romodrummer What I was saying is that, if your interface is adding that much noise with a SM7, then it may not be "mid or high end". My interfaces are all clean gain.
Too complicated...lol...JK, you're great
