We've completed most of the earthworks that set the foundations for a passing track loop between Bamford and Hathersage in Derbyshire.

Unfortunately this is yet another Network Rail video that has some interesting things to see, but ABSOLUTELY NO EXPLANATION of what is going on and how it fits into the bigger picture.
Can’t anyone in Network Rail produce an overview video: why the project is happening, what it entails, why certain design decisions were made (eg why this passing track is here rather than somewhere else or not at all), then explain everything each step of the way.
Come on, you’re making this video for rail nerds (yes, that’s me). You might as well make it worthwhile!!

As you say this video has almost no value. The problem is the PR department understands nothing and don’t know who to ask to find out the answers to your very reasonable questions.

I thought the same thing. There is a bit of explanation in the video description but 30 seconds of voice over at the beginning to explain the context would make it a lot more obvious what we are watching

Will the Hope Valley Line too could see electrification happening since the former Woodhead Line once served Manchester to Sheffield and if it would of still exist today connecting Manchester and Sheffield and passing through the Pennies.

A rather pointless video. What is going on, and why. Assuming something worthwhile is occurring are we supposed to assimilate this knowledge by some form of divine intuition.
