Spiritual bypassing - I felt that hard! This whole quarantine Iâve been deep diving more into my spirituality and have felt on top of the world. I was happy every single day. Until yesterday at least. I hit a wall and realised I need both spirituality and therapy to help resolve the deep rooted emotional wounds I have. Thank you for bringing light to this subject, as I had no idea it even had a name đ€

Amy I have been watching you for quite a while and I just wanted to say thank you so much for helping me become more aware of my emotions and how they can affect others. Honestly I can go and write a whole essay on how much I learned from your videos and how self aware and more present I am becoming. I woke up at 6 am this morning (no particular reason) and ended up watching this vlog and trying breathwork for the first time never hearing about it before. It seems so important to me what you transmit, therapy is something so important for all of us so that we can not only face a problem but grow as human beings, it should not embarrass us, it helps us to grow and this that you transmit I absolutely LOVE it. Meditation helped me return to the here and now, the world is growing spiritually from within. crying, writing, meditating, learning to heal and forgive is what we must do in order to evolve. Thanks for talking about spiritual bypass! I didn't know it had a name (until now), but that's something I've very recently arrived at on my own. I've been dealing with hardcore death anxiety for two months now while smimultaneously having a sort of a spiritual awakening and it really took me a lot to separate genuine faith from faith as a coping mechanism. What helped is holding it to the same standard as love. When you're broken, you don't go looking for love to heal. You gotta look inward and actually deal with the stuff yourself. It's the same with faith. Anyways... Thanks again, love ya! x

Recently moved out of my moms, and my boyfriend and I moved in together. I work from home, but he is gone basically the whole day Mon-Friday for his job, so I have a lot of time to myself. This whole COVID situation really puts so many things into perepective. Itâs been a little tough to navigate living alone for most of the week, but honestly, this video just gave me so much life and courage to take on each day with hope and love. Youâre amazing Amy

Long story short-
I was moving out before all the 2020 madness and only lived alone for a couple days because my family ended up living with me due to financial reasons (I have a steady income, they don't). .
I honestly enjoyed living alone.. made me feel free!!
Love living with my family- mother and younger brother BUT I miss those days being alone in my space.
Itâs so hard to find a good therapist . I really would love to continue therapy but trying to find someone you connect with or has the right tools/style of practice is exhausting.
