I too live on my own and get in those same ruts that you do. It’s nice to know I’m not alone in that sense. And there’s so much to be grateful for that I need to start living like it. You also mentioned your brain was feeling scrambled and you were feeling burnt out, and I have been feeling the exact same way! I just recently found out we are in mercury retrograde so that also might be why things are feeling off.

When I repot plants or notice water hasn't drained within 3 minutes, I take a chopstick or any stick and gently poke diagonal holes to the bottom. it lets water flow throughout the roots instead of getting caught or going straight down.

i recommend the osmo color revive masks! i use the violet one every fortnight or so and theyre great! they do stain EVERYTHING like most colour shampoos/conditioner, but because this is a hair mask it helps to condition your hair so you dont really need to use conditioner after if you dont wanna!
Hi Amy! I've also been feeling really burnt out lately and I wanted to let you know that watching your videos (about self-help, vlogs, everything) has helped me pick myself up and be more productive! It's just a little bit of improvement for me but thanks for being so relatable ❤ Also I think you look more like your dad especially the face shape, but it's okay I totally relate to not looking like any of my parents lmao

There is so much freedom (coming from an Asian household) yet I'm limited by my own struggles in self-management (discipline, time-management, self-control, laziness, procrastination, lack of motivation, etc) leading to anxiety and guilt. I was isolating myself in my room watching CZcams when I came across your videos about self-improvement, getting life together, pursuing passion/dreams, etc and I was like why haven't I watched any of your videos before this? I realised it's normal to face these issues and to treat it as a learning/growing process! Also, this is the first time a CZcamsr replied to my comment and I'm a little anxious hahahaha but love you! 💖💖💖

Amy! i love your awareness in sustainability and "buying in bulk" but it doesn't make any sense to buy new containers and filling them in with packaged goods. Tip: use containers you already own and buy from bulk stores! That way, you're consuming less. Hope this helps!

If you don't wanna drill the pot. You can use pebbles inside the pot to stop the plant from sitting in water.
You can also put a layer of smaller rocks at the bottom of the hole-less planters and that should help with over watering :)
