Bought a GPX300FSE and couldn’t be happier. It’s the bike Honda should be making! It is better in every way when compared to the trail bikes that are currently being sold by the Japanese. It is not a race bike, but I am every bit as fast on it as my KTM. My 2c

Ive bought several used china bikes for under $1k and most of the time people that buy them dont really maintain them and let them sit and the carbs get clogged. after a little bit of time and effort you can get a decent trail bike that you can beat on without a huge investment. I find that the air cooled 125cc and 250cc engines are the most reliable and low maintenance.

I test rode the new RXB190L the other day and it seems like an awesome bike. DOT legal and lots of power. For the price it seems hard to beat. I think I am going to try one. I currently have a 2014 Honda CRF125F. The later built Honda's are great, they always are but the newer don't seem well built as the older models. They have all gotten a bit cheaper built.

I bought a CFMOTO CLX 700 SPORT nearly two years ago, which is Chinese made, and it has been a stellar ride. Part of the problem is that the Chinese options are relatively new and generally speaking, people resist change. I say, bring it on. Competition is what makes an industry thrive. What's more, companies like KTM, Kawasaki, and now Yamaha are all fitting parts to these Chinese bikes. Its becoming one huge conglomeration so get these "cheap Chinese" bikes while they are affordable.

Ideal for running around town and accessing remote beaches. If you are not a bike snob, they are perfect and reliable. Some roads are bad, and i can go 2 up to local towns. I will keep this bike for 5 years costing less than 8 USD a week

I had a chinese Atomik pit bike 125 cc when i was a teen. Have been riding road bikes most of my riding life (41 now) and currently have a Suzuki GSX-S1000. I have an 8 year old boy who i have just introduced to his first pit bike. I went with t Motoworks MW 90CC. at this stage he still struggles to change the gear stick due to not enough strength in his feet/foot. I literally set it on gear 3 and let him rip. So as far as i am concerned im not spending thousands on a brand name when i am not even sure that he will persevere with the hobby (however he really loves it now). He will soon outgrow the 90 then we can re-assess from there. But there is so many options for chinese bikes here in Australia now. Crossfire, Kay0, Thumpstar, Motoworks, GMX (Rebrand of USA SSR brand). I ended up buying a GMX-150X which is pretty much a SSR SR150 great bike. I am loving it so far. Everything is put together well nothing has come loose etc, i have probably clocked over 6 hours riding so far. Oiled the chain, replaced the stock oil look after it and it should last a while.

I think that the Japanese motorcycle dealers have ruined the affordability of the sport. When I was a kid my Dad owned a Yamaha dealership. Standard gross margin was 20% on bikes and 40% on parts. Yamaha did not charge a destination fee (I wonder if they really do now or if this is just another lie told by dealers) and I started uncrating and assembling bikes for my Dad’s store when I was 11 years old. I was very slow and it would take me 2-1/2 hours to uncreate, assemble and test drive a new bike before it was put on the showroom floor - one of our mechanics could do it in 45 minutes or less. Why do the manufacturers even have a MSRP if their dealers won’t sell at that price? I guess that’s why they don’t sell very many bikes anymore.

Hey I agree with a lot of what you’re saying I was one of the first guys to get an RBX250 like years ago back when the frames were orange, and it definitely served a purpose it got me back on two wheels after over 20 years , It got my confidence back and allowed me to work body positioning and fine-tuning a lot of things however I found when I took the bike to a real hard-core riding spot like Croom in Florida where there’s sand I was there for about two hours I loading the bike up went home and sold it the power just wasn’t there the technology of that engine is 1958 it was the first overhead cam design of Honda and when you push the bike in deep sand or mud it just won’t do it I bought an SSR 300 and I love it it was a great bike and now I own an SSR 450 and I will tell you yes you do want that extra power there are situations where it is necessary

Ive never torn down a brand new bike before and never heard of doing so until recent years. And I've also never had a problem with riding a new bike from the dealer with only following break in procedures and doing normal maintenance like oil and filter changes, air filters, chain lube, spark plugs etc. So are there tutorial videos or step by step printed instructions or something on how to tear down and setup these bikes before you even start the engine? I'm kinda confused and put off because it seems like an extreme amount of complex work for the average buyer to have to do to a brand new bike. Any info appreciated. Thanks.

Japanese bikes or Austrian for good for racing if your skill level is pro but most guys will be fine on a cheaper china bike. These days every thing you need to know on CZcams

I was about to bite the bullet on the L model until I realized the perfect Honda clone engine has been discontinued and replaced with a mystery brand...on top of a price increase. I just ordered the fuel injected Lifan x-pect for $400 less but I'm a little disappointed because the original engine was what impressed me the most.

You don't have to justify the Chinese bike. Unless you are serious and need a full on racing MX bike, it comes down to affordability. I think they are bang for buck bikes.

You spent way to much time trying to explain "why" you got one. Unless you ride everyday and race on the weekends these bikes are awesome. I just got the Hawk 250 EFI for S2000. Plenty for what I will ever use it for. Looking at this bike next. Chinese, Yeah, just go over every bolt to make sure everything is tight. Use Loctite and change the oil. Done!

Chinese bikes top out at $2k for me. I can not justify more for a bike that lacks the support for every component like a Japanese bike.

If you could find one for a decent price...and rebuilt it, complete with new bearings and suspension service...well over $5000 in my area...rather have new.

Everything you said in this video is basically a fact and should be common sense but you can’t tell these clowns nothing. They would rather buy a 20 year old rusty clapped out headache then a brand new 2021 for half the price. Not half the quality either

Yeah this video is pretty old and those Xpro bikes were not so good then with cheap rims, crappy carbs and faulty electronics...I hope they have improved. 👍

Yep, they have a new model coming soon that looks way different. The new boys on the block are the EGL Brand....around the same price they sell the EGL A-16 an even better version of the bike you see in the video. If you want even better than that check out GPX and SSR
