Hello from Brunswick, GA. It was great watching you make Brunswick Stew.
I’m originally from Northeast Georgia where we use smoked chicken, pork, brisket, corn, potatoes, tomatoes, ketchup, bbq sauce, and pats of butter. We then emulsify the mix using a blender and top it with pulled pork. Some people here like onion and some don’t. Y’all come see us.
    Please keep making great videos.

People today don't know nothing about traditional Brunswick Stew, back when it started People didn't have refrigerators or freezers and they hardly had leftovers if they did they would put them in a ( safe) with leftover biscuits to eat between meals. Meat was usually eaten at breakfast . My Grandmother and Granddaddy used fresh meat, pork and chicken and vegetables they canned in their Brunswick Stew. Now for years restaurants have used leftovers to make use of things that would go in the trash, good business since, but they should name it something else. My Grandparents were born in 1892 my father was born in 1922. I don't believe people without refrigeraton made this stew with leftovers, my folks made it in a large cast iorn wash pot and canned it in quart jars, it was delicious. Your a great Chef, and thanks for sharing.

I'm from Georgia and have been to different BBQ restaurants and cookouts not only in Georgia but the South it takes hours to make Brunswick stew you need a pork butt beef roast chicken and you can add deer roast all the meat needs to be marinated first then seasoned and smoked as for the veggies we use whole kernel corn string beans stewed tomatoes and chopped onions cut okra celery. it's your choice to add some dice potatoes jalapenos you need to shred all of your meats and remove them from the Bones your meats will always cook at different times. The chicken is going to cook the fastest. pork and beef will cook about the same time depending on how big they are. BBQ sauce your meat the last hour every 15 minutes. Put your veggies on about two hours before the meats are done you need to slow cook them. Once your meats are done let them rest for thirty minutes shred and add to the pot of veggies make sure you season the veggies also. You need to add some broth to the veggies like to use beef and some apple cider vinegar. It's not a fast cook it's going to take several hours. I you can use can corn and green beans make sure you drain them first you need to dump the whole cans of stewed tomatoes and some cans of diced tomatoes and tomatoes paste. The stew should not be watery it's not a soup it's a stew.

One of my favorite stews or soups!!! Super easy to make, and you can add almost anything you like. I prefer to use leftover pulled pork I smoked to add that Smoky flavor, but chicken or brisket works too. I've even thrown smoked rids in mine before. The bones add that little something to the broth. Planning on smoking a butt and some ribs this coming weekend. Best believe come Monday or Tuesday I'll be making a fresh batch of Brunswick stew with the left overs!!!

I came across your channel a couple of months ago and now it is my nightly routine to lay in bed and watch your videos. I am from a little town in south Georgia called Enigma and Brunswick stew has always been a favorite. If I'm ever within a 300-mile radius of Connecticut best believe I'm going to come eat with you. Keep up the good work!
