I’m 76 and just discovered Dr. Lori. My husband may be thinking he has a second wife because she’s all I ever watch anymore after discovering her a couple of months ago. I’m attempting to go through a lifetime of jewelry collecting (in what I now call my “blue box rooms”), and in my sorting, I now realize I knew nothing about what I had until she came along. I just wish people would be grateful and appreciative of you for all you’re doing, Dr.Lori, by the sharing of your expertise and vast knowledge, and by your honesty and integrity. I would suggest if viewers are not happy and not getting what she’s offering, that they find another venue that suits their needs and/or demands. Life is just too damn short, folks. ❤️

I believe your degrees and appreciate your thoroughness, your expertise, and your desire to educate us on something that we are passionate about - collecting, especially collecting "good stuff." You tell them!! As a reseller I have friends constantly show me undesirable items that yes are old, in sub par condition and not high value. And they get mad when I give them an estimated value because in their mind it was their great grandpas and he kept it so it has to be worth a lot. I can’t imagine the scrutiny and troll behavior you deal with. You are a true expert in your field. You pegged my vase a couple years ago accurately.

An EXPERT on cars can spot a make and model from a mile away. They don't need to see it up close to know exactly what car it is. I've even seen them identify just a tail light as belonging to a certain car just from that alone. An expert knows from a long time of hard work...simple as that. That's why we love watching you Dr. Lori. Because you know and are an expert:)

I was at a well known op shop in Australia where I found a painting that I liked and the staff actually googled the artist in front of me😂 they tried to sell it to me at n outrageous price because they assumed it was another artist by the same name. It had been put out without a price. I was standing there for half an hour. I left it and rang up their head office and complained and I ended up getting it for $30 next day. It seems everyone is an ‘expert’ now. The signature didn’t match. I’m enjoying it on my wall
I watch a lot of thrifters shopping videos = some people just don't have an eye period. They wouldn't know a great piece at a great bargain if it bit them! Watching your videos I would say boiling it down to one word = quality! And by watching your videos we can learn the little things that many don't notice that speak volumes!
