- Diamonds In The Rough was originally released on CD in 2008 as part of the DVD+CD release “Live in the LBC/Diamonds in the Rough”. It is a compilation of b-sides recorded during the making of the band’s self-titled 2007 debut, rarities, covers and other non-album tracks. The 2020 vinyl and digital release of the album has been remastered and is expanded by 5 tracks, featuring the unreleased track “Set Me Free” (recorded during the “Hail To The King” sessions). It also includes other hard-to-find tracks such as the fan-favorite “St, James”, “4AM” and “Lost It All”. The 16 track album also includes the band’s cover of Black Sabbath’s “Paranoid”, which originally came out in 2009 on the Warner Bros album “Covered”. The vinyl is released on limited edition clear vinyl.

Dragon's Lord The song was on Hail to The King. But this wasn’t recorded with that album. They just put it on there. It was before that. And even so, HTTK and The Stage sound very different vocally.

This song reminds me of someone I loved and lost. Tommy Korinec. It is almost 20 years since you left us. I have no words to express what a gentle and kind person he was. Your friends and loved ones will always miss you. Just putting this out into the universe because I believe that somehow Tom will know how loved he still is.
I love how this song is just the exact opposite of So Far Away. So Far Away is so melancholy and sad, but this song is a celebration of life. Absolutey beautiful.

To the rest of the band, please don't stop making music as long as you can handle it. Your songs are extremely influential and happen to be some of the best rock and roll/ metal art on the market today. Most of this new shit is exactly that, shit! You guys continue to kill it! I always feel dumb when I get sad about a celebrity dying. But fuck, man. These guys created such influential works of art. In that, they shared themselves with us. And when they felt this loss, they shared it with us, too. And he won't ever create anything ever again, and we all lost him, and if I'm stupid then fuck it. We miss you, man.
Don’t feel dumb I’m sad also about that he didn’t deserve to die he had drug problems and it’s hard to open up about drug problems when he struggled I bet he couldn’t get help because he was scared to open up about it I almost ended up taking drugs I got put in back of a cop car because I struggled with mental health I would always drink under age I’m not proud of that it’s not my parents fault my moms mom came for a drug family my grandma is the reason my moms bother is doing drugs he’s probably dead thanks for caring man I’m 17 years old now much love man forever tell people to do what they want and not give a fuck I ended up making it out alive much love
Jimmy knew his time was closing in on him he had a enlarged heart Condition and was given by the Dr till 30 to make it and I believe it caused him a bit of pain. I could be wrong but he wrote songs about it. Brompton cocktail was one of them. I believe he just couldn't handle it anymore. He seemed to enjoy life too much to just purposely end it.

Every December 28th, we remember St. James. Drinking one for him right now as I do every year. RIP Rev.
I still remember when I discovered a7x, Jimmy had three years dead, the same year I met a7x, it took me a while to realize it, Jimmy had become one of my favorites guys of the band and without realizing it I didn't know that there was no possibility to knowing him one day, he was so talented, he had a very good voice, ability to interpret, and obviously he played the drums very well, added to one of the 100 best drummers of all time.
Today, I repeat a7x will always be my favorite band, it still is after a few years, and today I cried again for Jimmy's tragic loss, once again with this song. Jimmy will always be in our hearths. foREVer

Same. Started in 2012 and was surprised they were in one of my favorite video games: Call of Duty Black Ops 1 and 2. Looked them up on wikipedia to learn more about them and was surprised that it showed jimmy was a former member. Once I clicked on his name to learn more I found out that he passed away.

I got to see him play live at Taste of Chaos in OKC. Jimmy was amazing I mostly watched him play drums throughout the event. M Shadows vocals were better live then on the CD that night I was in a trance like state. But I was mesmerized for sure. It was like a dream watched them down off the balcony from above. A dream I tell u. Then I woke up and drove home. Fucking amazing absolutely amazing
