MIKE G Dude with all due respect, you sound like you don’t know anything about guitar. Yes, Zacky is a really great guitar player and their styles amalgamate well, but their dual parts are written by Syn so it’s his style, not both of theirs and I promise you that none of those duals are as technically challenging as most of Syn’s lead solos. The alternate picking at the end of this solo is insane, I am 100% sure Zacky did not record that. I’ve practically worshipped these guys for more than a decade and it’s very obvious the difference in playing between the two. Avenged Sevenfold has been my favorite band for 15 years and I have immense respect for Zacky and his talent. That being said, Syn is light years ahead of Zacky on a technical level and this solo is blatantly Syn’s playing. I have no doubt Syn wrote and recorded this solo.
