You don’t need to get it exactly right, you just need to get the point of the quote across, which you did. This quote is correct in terms of how many people act these days, they hide behind the ones they harass. Not to mention, the soldiers are most likely trained in Close Range Combat as well as Guns and other weapons, and have extremely good aim, going against them as an untrained civilian is basically suicide. Most are good people and would give their lives for those who consider taking said lives, it’s the same with Police Officers. Occasionally, I hope that I become a cat and then can forget about all this stuff, but I wouldn’t be able to play Video games- I’m *not* giving that up.🐈

So I’m a disabled veteran and I always wanted to take a picture with one saluting the way I did. But I don’t feel like that’s disrespectful. I love seeing other people serving the country. There is a lot of honor in that. I have fainted in a formation before in Kansas when it was really hot outside. I had really bad heatstroke and was hospitalized for the remainder of the day. I couldn’t return to my unit until the following morning. I can empathize with these guards and it must be only harder for them their uniforms look much thicker and heavier they carry weapons everywhere which we don’t… they have to walk as if in formation all day this is sort of like it’s literally like their moving in a formation all the time. Walking that way can be painful on ur hips and back. Because u need to take 30 INCH steps. It’s actually very hard and requires so much allotted time to not only practice movements like turning around, left, right, but being able to move completely in sync. It’s HOURS and HOURS of practice in a formation. I strongly thing people should speak out about this… it’s hard to see so many people be disrespectful in this way when I know the work they put in.
I’d love to salute them and tell them how I wish my footwork when I served could be as beautiful! ❤️

My father was a royal guard and he said that tourists disrespect them the most, thinking that they are like statues and they can do whatever the hell the want to. It’s disgusting how people treat these men of honour. Despite their appearance, they are ferociously trained and ready to die in the name HM the queen. These guards deserve lots of respect from people and don’t deserve to be mocked by people who have no idea what these guards have gone through to get to that position.
I honestly feel very bad. If you don’t know the guards don’t only faint when getting tired or weak , they can get very hot because their suits are so thick, they’re very thick in case someone “punches” the guard or maybe even worse but you get what’s I mean I hope.
