Long story short :- He went to London, waited for 21 years to become a lawyer and for the perfect moment to shoot the cruel General.... At last he had that perfect moment for the assassination in court proceeding to shoot General Dyer and killing him ... He didn't flee and stood his ground to show everyone sitting there that he has no shame in doing this and accepts the consequences of jail and execution... He was hanged to death in 1940
