I use crappie jigs paired with Garmin Panoptix Livescope to do some fishing and jigging for big crappie. I give you tips and show you how to catch big crappie using livescope in the winter. I give you tips and tricks to catch more with livescope, show you what the fish look like on livescope, and show you the best jigs to use to catch crappie! This technique works all over the country to catch fish anywhere. The little jigs work best in clear water, and paired with a 1/24oz or 1/32oz jig head!

Iâve learned that if you thread a line under your split shot, you donât have to worry about it slipping. I typically use 8-10# braid to tie the knot, and it usually stays in place with the initial tie.

Great footage, I need to do a video showing my Live scope brush piles.
Tip for the split shot, I tighten it just a little but I tie a half knot in the line below the weight so it won't slide down, works great for me.

The livescope is awesome I wish I had something like that..... My technique is usually I use a slip bobber because I do a lot of offshore fishing about 10 ft distance between hook and T-Bone to let the line drop down it works pretty good but definitely would love to try out something like the life scope give you a better chance on when they're hitting doing it offshore is kind of hit and miss..... Awesome video though man hope you have a great one...

Separate pole, I use the Livescanner and love it

Is livescope better with spotlock..or can you still get away with manually correcting your trolling motor with a footpedal or hand held remote?
Itâs sort of hard to use spot lock and livescope at the same time unless you have livescope on a separate shaft. I use Livescanner
What size of rod are u using ???
What is the key to using TM mount using spot lock and staying on the fish?
He has uses a mount made by cornfield fishing gear, I believe, thats mounted to the TM but turns independent of his trolling motor. This gives him the ability to scan with the livescope while the TM keeps him in spot lock. Definitely an awesome setup!

That live scope definitely helps in crappie fishing, if you didn't have it, it would be boring waiting on them to bite & know where their at is crucial, did you use it to find the school or some other finder? Hi, I'm 65 years old and i respectfully disagree with fishing electronics
Never had one. To me its like pheasant hunting knowing the birds were stocked. Like fishing in a pay to fish lake thats also been stocked. To me electronics cheats the sportsman the fun and chalange and reward of himself vs. Nature and the feeling of accomplishment after the day outdoors.
