    Good video. Something to think about and not that big of a deal now, but when hot is when it matters. I am not positive that putting the graph in sleep mode stops the sonar. I never do that so I am not sure, but I do know if you hit the power button and chose the option "Disable All Sonar" it stops the black box and the sonar from working. If it is working when on the deck of your boat it will over heat, especially in the summer. The "Disable All Sonar" is an awesome function that I use every time I move.

    • @Dangle_Nation
      @Dangle_Nation  Před 10 měsíci

      Thank you! I don’t think it does either but for whatever odd reason with that unit specifically that transducer has to be down before you wake it up or you are in the hurt box. Yeah summer can def. Get them things super hot and possibly damage them. Definitely something to keep in mind. I will check out the feature! Thanks for the support Chris!! We need to link up soon sir!!

      Disable All Sonar - is not disabling the black box. I've check this in the battery app, which is show me real time consumption.

    One the better videos for beginners because it addresses the fact that you are looking on the screen at a left to right orientation, but in reality, you're looking forward of the boat. Question, how wide is the cone in feet?

    My hardest issue with my 34 is fishing bridge pillars. When I face it towards the pillars, I can turn my transducer either left or right around 4ft from center of that pillar and it will show the pillar still and the rotation view .
    Another issue is I can see a fish that image's behind that pillar looking at the screen .
    These pillars are very hard to learn on reading fish position.
    Do I have a setting that needs adjusted maybe? I run the 1222 monitor with Lvs34.

    • @Dangle_Nation
      @Dangle_Nation  Před 8 měsíci +1

      This is a very common issue that I see. And I will 100% make a video on this exact thing soon for you. In the mean time, think of livescope as a flashlight shining at an object. If it helps take a flashlight and shine it at your kitchen table legs. Wherever the light hits is what you see on the screen. As far as seeing the fish they are beside the pillar but come across as behind as the scope is taking a 3D image and making it 2D on the screen. Let me know if that doesnt make sense. I will tag you when I drop this video for you bub!

    • @FreshwaterSouL
      @FreshwaterSouL Před 8 měsíci

      @Dangle_Nation I understand what your saying with the flashlight showing a image.
      Its like you mentioned, A 3D image of rotation giving a different view to the 2D screen from left to right.
      I've tried researching this and I haven't seen nothing and no videos showing this as well, you'll be the first showing and describing the situation on the LVS34 rotation view on bridge pillars.

    Great video my question is when a fish like a white bass leave the screen can you tell if they are going left or right or even under the boat? Good job 👍🏻

    • @Dangle_Nation
      @Dangle_Nation  Před 2 měsíci

      Thank you! And yes absolutely! So as the fish leave if they are going away from your boat they will be traveling to the right on the screen. If they are approaching you or going behind you they will be going to the left on the screen. The screen also shows 5 feet BEHIND the transducer in most cases. In this instance as the fish go behind the boat the will appear in this 5 ft area. BEHIND the zero on the screen.

    To turret or not to turret and put live scope on motor. I fish for bass mostly, but I definitely will use spot lock when I find a spot. But spot lock takes away usefulness of livescope. Anyone have a good workaround with livescope mounted on trolling motor? Looking to upgrade electronics soon is why I ask.

    • @Dangle_Nation
      @Dangle_Nation  Před 2 měsíci

      My personal opinion is not to turret. Simply because of the style of fishing we do. With spot locks radius (the natural drift) and the desire to stay locked in I prefer being able to stay on the pile. However I can see how in bass fishing it being on the turret would help. You can ID an LMB and cast to it then scan around or focus on whatever technique you are fishing. That and turrets are to slow for me, I like to snap around Its a tough question to say the least lol
