MY BOY T! He really is the best at installing and setting up Garmin units! I know him and the guys at his businesses personally, and i can tell you first hand. They are all very knowledgeable and great people, and they take pride in their work! Great video, Todd, and thanks for you guys showing this guys! 👍
Couldn't agree more!
Man I was the same way I never wanted to tinker with mine because I was scared to death I'd screw something up but one day I looked down at the screen and for whatever reason the transducer was facing forward but I was getting an image like it was flipped around 180°... Meaning I had it pointed straight in front and I was getting images from behind the boat. I couldn't figure out what was going on so I ended up just restoring it to factory settings and started playing with all the settings after I watched one of Jason Christie's videos and figured out how to get it back to normal and what I learned is it's pretty straight forward and I was worried for nothing. Great video as always keepem coming brother!!!
Same thing happened to me did you figure out why this happened
Thanks for posting I'll use this as a guide since I have CRS.
About damn time Todd!!! Been waiting for this one, Thank You!
Next an in-depth review of the Force??????
Have a year under my belt with the livescope, while my settings are slightly different he is spot on. It is an excellent tool. Seems to work very well.
What are you powering it with...notice the 13v?
Thanks Todd.. if you do this again could you address shallow water. I’m in Florida. Just got it. Love it but still trying to figure it out. Thanks again.
Thank you!!
Thank You Sir!
Is this transom mounted or picking up the trolling motor transducer.
Do you leave color limit on default?
I usually have my noise reject on low & gain around 68-70. But with rest my settings my screens pretty clear. I don't mind a little clutter either so I can everything & what's trying to hug bottom
I like radial grid on perspective. But I almost don't even see it unless I'm trying to access size of structure. I don't use grid on forward
Thanks
Just went out with mine for the first time lots to learn and I’ll be using this video tomorrow to help me. What I don’t get is in the video he says he’s in 20+ft why in the top left is it saying 7-8ft?
I’ll have to go back and take a look
What model unit is this?
I'm so 9bviously not a scoper since I still don't have it down and had it it a while now
Did they talk about Color Limit in this video and I missed it?
Good settings but to maximize what it can do I adjust my settings every time im out. Water clarity's and even temperature effect your picture. Not drastic adjustments but it will fine tune it all.
Hello again great video. There is regular gain and then color gain. I heard color gain but not regular gain. Did he mean to leave regular gain on auto med????
Can anyone tell me why I have three bright rays shooting down, or how to eliminate to make my picture better?
My live scope is three years old. Should I get the new update?
Not sure I’d call them up
Not unless you're having issues with it. I have had mine for 3 yrs. as well not 1 update installed yet.
That alot different on gain & & noise rejection than I use but I'll give this a try to see what I think. My screen is usually very clear anyways. Never hurts try different settings. Never us auto depth/range! You need consistency if you wanna learn how to identify size of fish. I keep my distance at 80' most time, I'm also in a kayak & way more stealthy than a big boat.
What about calibrating compass
Have a video and will be releasing soon
Todd, can you catch winning bags without FFS?
Absolutely you can but its one of those things that the more people do it, the more the chances are that it will be won that way.
Fishing isin’t a computer game. You can put that Livescope where the sun don’t shine.
So I can use it on cloudy days? Why dont you check out my channel and see what I do first.
LOL, yes, or you have a fishing buddy who's bored or just wants to mess with Sasquatch and changes the language settings to Portuguese or uses m vs ft. Garmin, needs to add a password protect to the device to keep your partners from screwing around!
You are sitting in 20 plus feet of water yet the depth is showing only 7ft. what gives?
He has it on pause. Livescope wasn’t running I believe
Bro, I can tell you’re not a scooper almost like John Cox. They gave him one years ago just so he can say yeah I got it but it’s been in the truck. Heck let somebody borrow it when there’s broke you need to learn the strolling hover rig technique Bud, you’re a deadly angler if you had that under your belt just a little more versatile but it’s just a tool as side imaging. Thanks for the info in settings.
You have no idea I’ve kept things secret for years I don’t put everything out you’d be surprised what I know.
Todd, great video on settings. I have owned my Garmin 93sv for about 6 months now, it’s all about time on the water and every time I get better. Like you, I am terrified about having to do a factory reset. I wish someone could come up with a on the water quick reset guide, like a 3x5 wateproof card. Down and dirty. Look forward to more videos on the Garmin from you.
What’s wrong with it
With what
How about less BS and more settings on the screen
What setting is BS I don’t see that on the main menu?
