    Once again, another fine job! Personally I think you are one of the best equipment demonstrators/reviewers out there. Keep up the great work! I enjoy watching! God bless!

    Yeah, a very fine video. Excellent narration. Cab view and inset of overview of machine in operation was nice.

    This is a very well organized video. As someone who has used hand and foot control and have never used the joystick control I never knew a joystick was less jerky. I run my machine all day and never saw fatigue as a factor.

    I always favored the old case's controls, similar to hand and foot, but instead but of foot bucket controls you just tilted your hand inside and out to raise lower and tilt the bucket

    Just picked up my new Kubota yesterday out there. Always loved my New Hollands. But there not what they use to be. Kubota is a very well thought out machine. And tough.

      @@adamwatts9269 New Holland and Bobcat and Mustang are the original foot and hand control machines and they still make them new. I just bought a New Holland L320 and it's the best skid loader I've ever operated. And I started in a T bar Mustang 2040. For me as the years go by whoever's still making the foot and hand controls will be who I purchase. Those who don't even give it as an option aren't worth my time.

      Really it's what you're use to. Grew up with h pattern but have use them all. Iso isn't bad but I wasn't very great with foot controls, especially in rough conditions. H pattern is pretty natural to me.

    I dont remember our old bobcats having that much travel in the sticks. Though that was years ago. Used them every day. I don't remember any fatigue per say.

    Hey my new holland l230 doesn’t have that option to switch. The switch your turned is just empty/flat on my skid steer

    If the New Holland C345 has foot controls can they be switched off in favor of the ISO hand control?

    My Deere 260 2 speed has the hand and foot but the travel is the same but the boom lift is the left stick side to side and curl is right side to side. The foot pedals are only controlling remotes on the boom. What would this be called?

  • @codydritz8800

    I think you have your left and right mixed up. If you push the left lever forward you are going to turn right. You need to pull the left lever back to turn left.

    That lap bar is why I can seldom operate one, my thighs are so thick the bar won't lower enough to operate, only found 2 in my life adjusted loose enough for me to use.

    • @StefanBacon
      @StefanBacon Před 6 lety

      I'm sure you could shim the switch, unless it's a reed switch, then magnet? I'm assuming based on my own experience with failing to correct my poor health that you need a hardware solution on the loader side of things.

    • @junkiexl86
      @junkiexl86 Před 4 lety

      @@StefanBacon Actually, You can bypass it completely as well and remove the bar outright. Though only feasible for private use otherwise pray OSHA doesn't ever show up.

      @snoopdogie187 Před 4 lety +1

      I wouldn't recommend removing the bar. I remove sweat switches off of riding lawn mowers, but these machines are a little more dangerous, and it is good to have that reminder there.

      That is probably because those skid loaders are Case / New Holland. I don't know if Deere makes their own yet or if they are rebadged still. Looking it up, it does look like Deere switched to making their own now.

  • @StefanBacon
    @StefanBacon Před 6 lety +1

    Electronic sticks are not pilot. Pilot controls have low-pressure valves in the joysticks which control the high pressure/high flow valves that run the loader, and the pumps that drive the wheel motors. This should not be conflated with electronic controls as they do not rely on software to function.

    • @mrpush2855
      @mrpush2855 Před 5 lety

      Ok so I'm looking at a Skid Steer, will be my first. Are electronic sticks better than Pilot and pilot better than hand and foot? Bo electronic and pilot act the same? I can see that electronic can surly save your tires. Skidding a skid steer all the time will eat the tires and I don't see a real need to drag tires if your can counter rotate. But if Electronic and Pilot work the same, and I can easily counter rotate with valved pilot controls, is there any need to go electronic? Thx.
