Just to be clear, this needs to be done to all four wheels. Not just the front ones. Also, apparently the chains do stretch to the point where this adjustment doesn't help and you have to replace the chains. Mike, thanks for the great video!

Hi Mike, I just got a LX665 & love it. Have you ever put in new boom bushings & pins? Mine seem to have a little slop in the back arms. There is another video on CZcams, but they don't actually show the removal. Thank you for a great video, also I liked the tip of powerwashing before loosening the bolts. THANKS

Hi Mike when these are loose does it make noise? Mine seems like it makes abit of a winding type noise that changes on and off when going up and down dips when going full speed I'm not sure if it's normal I not I just got the machine seems to perform fine just that bit of a strange noise that's all 🤷...

I'm looking at buying one with 2500 hours it's actually the John Deere variant with the yanmar engine but everything else is identical could you tell me if you had any good and bad things with them I already have enough of broken things to fix I don't want this to be added to the list it's very clean and starts right up 2500 hours

HELP 2004 ls 170 wheel about come off but still bolted (similar to wheel bearing on car it seems). Some think it could be the c clip on the middle. With machine on trailer or ground you can push the wheel and tire all over and probably take off but haven't tried. was luck enough to be close enough to side of road to park it and then we were able to back the tilt right up to it and get it on the trailer. The dealer is booked!!!! for a While they are having turnover issues.

Chris, I've never been that deep into it so not sure what it would be. It definitely sounds internal through. You should be able to get some idea what's going on by taking that side panel off. As long as you don't find pieces of metal in the bottom you'll probably be able to get it back together. Good luck!

Hey I actually went on a road call yesterday for a LS180 that walked the whole axle shaft out. The inner c-clip on the axle broke and let it slide out. I pulled everything apart and ordered an axle unit rebuild kit comes with inner outer seals, bearings, new c clip and shims. Pretty easy job if you're mechanically inclined.

We think it's the bearing kit on the drive

I'm not sure how to get the chain back on the sprocket, have not had to do that. However I would think you need to move the wheel hub as close to the center of the machine as you can, and open the access cover on the side too. Also you might want to see how tight the chain is once you get it back on and tension it again. It might be stretched too much and you'll need to replace or shorten it.

My NH has a plug on each side between the tires. Takes a 3/8 ratchet.
