This was a live performance, Wrap your head around that, Angelina is by far the best female vocalist I've ever heard and it Aint even close and I'll be 60 yrs old next yr, she is in the process of being the Greatest female vocalist of all times as we speak and we all get to witness History

This was 16 year old Angelina's return to Norway and to a stage she performed on a few times while growing up. Due to the pandemic, it had been over 2 years since Angelina was on the stage at AGT. Angelina just released a new song "Love Don't Let Me Go" and will release a EP in June.

At her last concert on July 10th 2022 in Norway, when Angelina told why she sings this song and dedicated it to her grandmother Mery Zamani (her grandma was sick and couldn't accompany Angelina on the trip to Norway and both were very sad), I understand this song completely differently whenever I hear the line "Don't you dare walk away from me". 👣💯 *AJ* 💯 👣

@@bobcieslinski Another recording from age 13 shows Angelina singing this complete in two takes with a higher key (same as Whitney’s studio recording). Seems she was originally testing or showing the limits of her range.

Hello again, Bob! I'm super happy to see you back with Angelina. Here are a few key points about this performance - This was recorded live on an outdoor stage on a Norwegian TV programme called "Allsang På Grensen" (sing along at the border). It was her 1st time live on a stage since she participated in America's Got Talent The Champions when she was 13. It was also her first visit to her home country (Norway) in almost 3 years, due to the pandemic. Also keep in mind that the performance you see there is her 2nd performance, back to back, due to some technical issues during her first performance. The producers pulled her closer to the main stage and gave her roughly 1 minute before she had to do it all over again. WHAT a breath control, right ? And an incredible stamina. Also take into consideration that she landed from LA that same morning, so jet lag is absolutely not out of the picture either. And then the windy, rather chilly, early Norwegian summer (June 23rd). LA is much warmer, and she wasn't what you would call overly dressed. All in all an incredible performance by a girl not yet 16,5 years old 🙂
A single from her upcoming debut album dropped on May 5th, and it is absolutely great. The song has a very retro vibe to it, and Angelina has said that that will be true for the whole album. And it will be all originals; her own songs. An EP will drop now in June, and then her album will drop probably a month or two after that. I think it is safe to say that Angelina has arrived. The song is: Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye, performed on TV 2 Norway in the summer of 2016. The Norwegian presenter says they are happy to hear this before Angelina travels to the US. Angelina has always been special and mature for her age, as a singer, and she's been known since she won a talent competition in Norway at 7. She has shown that she can sing many genres, singers, and songs really well, copying them well, while also making them her own with her special voice and style. She is indeed a natural talent, getting even better as she grows older and deeper. Thank you, Bob, for taking us through this amazing song with Angelina Jordan, also a reminder of the brilliant Whitney Huston.

This concert was put on bu a TV station and what you just heard was the second of the same complete song back to back because as soon as she completed the first one the asked her to do it again because their was sound issues do to the wind blowing and so she just started all over and did it again

She’s in a concert right now in Norway she sang a song 3×7 different sizes and this is a Main crowd and instead of a crowd Down here for a little thing for them. She also has lived in Elise for sure for the time now, of course for the record deal based in Los Angeles, California she’s living in California going to I was through and put in the record company will send the telephone also on RuPaul Stargate , a group of Norwegian producers They said they have three people come in the video sent up the bottom, one and 1/3 Sam Smith, Rio Grande and Angelina Jordan

Bob, you should check out her rendition of "Feeling Good" with a great horn section in her band. She did several concerts in 2017 with this band that were fantastic. Again with songs all over the musical spectrum. Her concerts in Norway last summer, 2022 had a great jazz quartet backing her were even more spectacular. Even if you don't do reactions just watching her sing live is a special treat. I look forward to seeing her perform live someday. She recently announced that she will begin touring after her EP is released in June, 2023.

So I think you would find it interesting to now listen to compare to ANGELINA JORDAN SINGS VALERIE FOR HEIDI KLUM ON GNTM, another live performance she did on german tv. I believe this Whitney cover is the one where this is the second time she sang it as they told her there was something wrong with the speaker set up. So she just sang it again. Angelina never dials it in. This is a song known to tire the voice.

Awesome reaction, don't know if you are aware, on 5 May Republic Records released her 1st song Mainstream, Love Don't Let Me Go"! She created her own Genre in my opinion, "Vintage", 60's Vibe with RB/Jazz/Pop/Crooner and Instrumentals Past meets Present. She came out of the gate as they say, with the best song possible, not only showcasing her vocals but her restraint, which is equally as important. Shows her Writing and Composition Skills as a 17 year old is Mind Blowing. Need more reactions on A.J. from you, she has an EP dropping this early June after she Graduates off her Album due out this Fall. Have a wonderful day, God Bless!

May I make a few suggestions in the order that I think you'd appreciate them to see AJ ?
1. Million Miles is her first release from republic. I suggest the live in studio version, as the vocals are extraordinary and unmixed.angelina penned this song in the aftermath of her grandfather passing away.
The live performance is so good that one critic said the song redefines the music of bereavement and loss. I say that to hear her soul cry out into the void with such emotion will tear your being to its core as she rends her own only to feel a little better by the songs abrupt end. Those we lose are never truly gone, they exist in the tears we shed for them.
2, I'd rather go blind. 12 year old angelina just got a new mic from her birthday, and tries it out sitting on the couch in her home, a mic so new that she sings an instant classic into the back of the microphone (the label that is facing the camera should face her) it is my favorite version of this song I've ever heard.
3. Someone You Loveed from THE AGT Champions, but use the one with fixed audio, as it's a three way performance and there is quite a bit of cross applause over her, as a sand artist is depicting the song gorgeously, and another prodigy younger than her masterfully plays the violin across stage. It is near perfection to the senses, and I know you will enjoy the two young people in in their collaboration with the sand artist who wasn't even competing, just there to spread a little more artistic greatness.

@@bobcieslinski I'm a corn fed farm boy from down south in tennessee, but million miles expert phrasing and her signature evocative cry helps me when I'm missing my own lost mother, I've probably heard it 1000 times and I still won't listen with anyone because it reduces me to a blathering sob-sack. If you ever have felt that kind of loss, her words and inflection are better than a trip to the psychologist.

Yep, that was last year though😃. She has totally leapfrogged herself by now. She's done it, her recent cover of One Moment in Time is vocally on par with Whitney. Hard to even notice its not the original. Quite the step change over what she did in her high register in this performance. (I wont link it since it suffers from a content block in certain regions)

The video is meh but the music is to die for. Their album "Live at Carnagie Hall" is the best (IMHO) place to go, again a live recording but in one of the best venues you could ever hope for. I saw them around the time of the album at Radio City Music Hall, another amazing venue.
