They have THE MOST valuable college football program in the country and just landed the TWO biggest high school prospects since 2002. Just so happens that that prospect in 2002 was Vince Young. Texas will improve this season obviously, and not saying it’s definitely going to happen, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see them win the big 12 before arch even takes a snap. By the time arch is playing (24’ 25’) Texas will be back on top already. But the kool-aid is consuming me, and I can confirm that Texas will go 14-1 and win the natty this year, the one loss being against our biggest rival: Kansas

One of the things that never gets mentioned about Texas last season was that when Sark took over, Texas only had 8 scholarship OL. 8!!! That’s one of the dumbest stats I’ve ever heard of in my life. The only player that was really Sark’s was Worthy and he was huge. So, despite have zero depth at OL, and almost none of his own players, Sark still managed to produce the top offense in the Big 12. I’d like to think about what that offense would look like when he gets all of his own players.
