Why Marvel's MOST RUTHLESS Villain Isn't In The Live Action Movies

- When Marvel's Daredevil came to Netflix, audiences were blown away by Vincent D'Nofrio's powerful portrayal of Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin. By far the standout villain from the Marvel Netflix shows. He could have rivaled Thanos or Loki for the MCU's best villain. But because of the failure behind the rest of the Netflix effort we may never see Wilson Fisk enter the MCU. Though fan's have high hopes we will see Kingpin in Hawkeye and Spider-Man No Way Home.

There’s a giant rumor about Fisk appearing in Hawkeye and Matt appearing in Echo, which would give me life. Feige has to know how perfect the castings were for many of the NETFLIX/MCU shows, and should keep them. Daredevil is one of the best things Marvel has ever produced. Not bringing Cox back would be one of the biggest mistakes Marvel would make
One thing that gives me a little bit of hope is the way Disney has handled shows like the Mandalorian. They brought a bunch of stuff back from all the media and basically just gave fans what they wanted in the Mandalorian. Maybe they will do the same with marvel🙏🏻
What is echo??
@@davidmckesey7119 Echo is a great Marvel character who will appear in Hawkeye and get her own spin off show
Charlie Cox's casting in that role was great, but the skilled selection of that actor, as impressive a bit of work as it was, PALES in comparison to how well he actually acted that role. There was no way anyone could have expected him to pull it off that well. His portrayal of Daredevil is, I would say, THE best acting in a Marvel IP, or ANY comic book IP, EVER.
@@peteredwards2318 just goes to show that actors just need proper scripts and roles to truly showcase their talents. Cox’s portrayal of Matt is up there with the best. He is to DD what RDJ is to Iron Man and Jackman is to Wolverine.

I still hate the fact that when people asked why the Daredevil, Jessica, Luke and Iron Fist didn´t appeared on Endgame someone from Marvel said that it was because it would have been confusing to those that only watch the movies, but now that they have disney plus they suddenly don´t care about that. It was obvious that they they were not included because they didn´t have complete control over them, made them look like hypocrites.

Kingpin/Fisk was such a very well done villain in the TV show Daredevil. Like, they give you so much about that char to make you truly empathize with him in ways unlike any other villains in the various adaptations of marvel heroes.

Yeh i felt that too. I also find it weird that whenever people (rightfully) criticize MCU villains, they exclusively take examples from pre- 2015, when everyone knows that the best marvel villains r post-2015. Zemo, Vulture, Killmonger and Thanos with Ego and Hela as honorable mentions.

Kingpin has just debuted on an Avenger’s MCU Disney Plus show!
Almost like Feige saw your video and said, “What? Hold my baseball cap…”
Honestly speaking, I was more impressed by the first seasons of the Netflix shows than the recent ones. Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage were good shows. Everything in Disney+ is so world ending, I get bored sometimes 😂 Need some intimate and personal stories
Hawkeye seems to be going that route, which makes complete sense given that they seem to be heavily adapting the Fraction run, which was a lot more of smaller, self contained story
Falcon and the Winter Soldier + WandaVision aren't world ending at all. So far, Hawkeye isn't either. On top of that, I doubt Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel or SheHulk would be.
I loved WandaVision because it was so unique and well done but I did get bored with Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Falcon's whole plotline of being broke and his family almost losing their business was really dumb and clunky. Like in the real world he could easily get endorsements for thinks like Gatorade or whatever. Vision, a freaking robot, could buy a house in the suburbs and Falcon can't afford to help with family?
Intimate and personal. Yes yes, I agree. I actually get a little frustrated with DD S3 because there is less character development for Matt.
As murderous as Thanos was, at least he always gave a peaceful death with his snaps.
Yea kingpin just gives you the fucking door
Wellllllllll he did slaughter billions the good old fashioned way before he got the stones. He been doin that since before gamora was rlly even born (prolly)
Except for poor Loki....and Vision too I guess
If Thanos didn't have a hero's complex in Infinity war r.i.p Mcu.
It’s not about those he snapped, it’s those he left behind. You don’t get to give half the universe PTSD and call it a mercy.
I hope he is super violent in Echo, because if he is cartoonishly strong like in Hawkeye then I won't be happy. I'm not saying he shouldn't be cartoonishly strong, but he shouldn't look as silly as he did in Hawkeye when he was rammed with a car or blown up with a bunch of trick arrows. It's cool to see that he finally got his comic book accurate strength, but it should be portrayed with an R-rated flare.
Well well well
All the Disney plus shows feel so bleak compared to Daredevil
Daredevil should’ve been the standard for all future comic book shows
It's December 15, 2021, the new episode of Hawkeye just released, and this video has fortunately aged like room tempature milk. The King has returned.

I think it’s about time we started a hashtag movement. His version of kingpin was beyond superb.
Vincent D'Onofrio is one hell of an actor.
Honestly this just woke up in me again the resentment I feel for the fact that Netflix!MCU was scratched out. I just CAN'T feel the same level of exciment withe the new MCU series- they don't feel like actual movies, but they still feel very MCU-movies and there is nothing spicing up the experience.
Netflix!MCU was just _different_ to the movies and you could feel you were seeing a different side of the cinematic universe. They gave a differente level of depth to the whole thing: right now the Disney+ series is just more bridges to the next big thing, but Netflix series dealt with the cities and citizens of an over-powered world. If they haven't scratched out Jessica, Daredevil & Luke Cage, can you imagine the impact they could have added to Civil War, actually making it a civil war about superhumans identities and accountability? JESSICA WAS DEALING WITH THAT. IT WAS MATT'S CONFLICT. LUKE WAS ON THE SPOT-LIGHT FOR IT.
But no, no one there liked to share and they ruined it.
The Disney+ series CAN'T de-escalate their stakes now, they established a pattern with WandaVision breaking into other universes, FATWS bringing more super-soldiers, Lady Hydra and the start of the new team; Loki broke the timeline and now we have the next Big Bad.
I mean... what is Kingpin who just wants to control a neighbourhood goings to do in the big picture? Yeah, they can do it, they are not just going to, because they don't want to.
And now we can't see how we fit there, as an audience. We are just Peter classmates asking if someone has a plan for five seconds in the opening of the past movie and that's it. There is no Malcom, no Trish, how much time and space is going go be given to Ned and May in the next Spider-Man movie? I am going to be fine, because is a movie and I know what I am watching, but I was also better before it was always only about "the universe".
We will see him toe-to-toe with the avengers soon 😀

Feige has said that he wants to bring Daredevil, Kingpin, Jessica Jones, and the Punisher from their respective shows into the MCU. I don't see them not bringing them in if they bringing in other characters from other properties.
