Always feel like a kid in a candy shop when I see all the detailing products. Very good informative video thanks pan!
Thanks Jon!!
I have the same reaction, only its followed by a feeling of causing on selecting the "wrong" product and Fear or missing out on the good products :)
When my wife and I started detailing a few years ago you were our authority on everything lol. We learned so much from you and have a flourishing business. We watched the reviews for most of these products from you and we bought them all. We've tried a few other products because it's always best to try for yourself, but I have to say that trying other products was a waste of time honestly. The Gauntlet is incredible. Definitely changed the game for me because I detail in the desert and needed an extra large extra absorbent towel to dry quick before the sun does. The adams polish applicator made dressing tires one of my favorite parts of the car. The mcullough steamer increased quality and decreased the amount of effort we have to put in on the interiors drastically. The Bissel carpet extractor is a very VERY cheap option for adding a kind of pricey service. I have my lilly brush that I use on every single vehicle.
This is a very spot on list of very high quality products. I use the honeydew melon chemical guys snowfoam and meguiars hybrid ceramic wax spray. You can actually dilute the VRP and use it on the entire interior of the vehicle. Even leather. It's my go to finish. I love the smooth matte finish it has the perfect amount of shine. The adam's polish buckets are cool and cheap but my local home depot has ones that are colored like the state flag for where I live (Yellow bucket with Red Zia in the middle, New Mexico) And they were a little more expensive but they look cool and I feel like people notice them and like them. Everyone is all about the Zia here lol. Something a lot of beginning detailers don't think about that I've never seen a youtuber talk about is taking a break. Bring a cooler with a lunch in it and some waters. Get one of those nice big keep your drink cold for 2 days nice cups so you don't have to run to the cooler all the time. If at any point in time you feel yourself slowing down or getting impatient with a difficult spot take a step back. Drink some water. Take a bite of a snack. Breathe and look at something other than the car and then come back to it. Seems like common sense, but... I didn't start doing stuff like this until almost 2 years in. I just detailed hungry and didn't care because I was grinding hard. But every once in awhile I would get impatient with a spot and leave it not as good as I could've been. Now it's all about keeping myself hydrated and well fed. I even stretch before hand and do a little breathing exercising because I know I'm about to be stooping and leaning and stuff for hours. My quality of service went up tenfold by paying more attention to myself than the vehicle.

@troycleanstheworld. Is detailing a very physical job?
Also an insightful comment. Thanks. Happy to hear you’ve had success in this field. Wish me luck out here in TN as I’m branching off on my own into detailing!
Thank you Pan for another great video. I am a person that has a true passion for detailing, however I do not do it as my profession. So videos like this really help to navigate the endless amount of options in the non industrial detailing world. Thanks again.
You are so welcome!
I have and used P&S Brake Buster since it came out, 3:1 ratio in my IK Foam 9
for my maintence needs. This product is more about a smart purchase more than being on a budget IMO. It's fun to use in a foamer, does a great job for maintence cleaning and has that ingredient in it that doesn't rust your rotors as much. I can honestly say that as long as they make it, I'll be buying/using it👍👍
Really appreciate you taking the time to put this list together! As an amateur detailer I don’t always need high end expensive supplies. Well done Pan! 👍
These were sooo expensive like who got the money for a 25$ bucket. Seriously. Or a 15$ brush. Like it’s a brush
Dude these are as cheap as they get you need to make sure your making more than 5 bucks a wash if these are expensive for your detailing business lol
@@firstclass1032 well I live where detailing is not popular at all and people drive crappy cars then go wash their cars at the $5 Swirlmaker car wash… so my services are like around €50
@@clemradio then that’s your problem. You’re complaining about services that aren’t in demand. This isn’t the video for you where everything is $10 and below. You’re gonna have to find another outlet for good prices like homemade products rather premade
Ooh! This video is the one! This is why your channel stands out from the rest of the detailers: useful topics other than just actual washing/detailing. Just shows how much you listen to your followers but also how broad your ideas are. Honestly, who would've thought they could find a video on all of CZcams about products that are cost efficient AND do great jobs? There might be one or two about a specific product, but this video covers a whole range of items. Definitely highlighting your sign off, "TIPS, tricks and techniques". Bravo my man.
Thanks for the kind words Joseph!! I always appreciate your feedback.
I second that!!
And this is why I considered this channel, the best detail channel hands down, thank you Pan for been one of us, thank you for another awesome video
Wow, thank you!
I can't thank you enough for these types of videos. It gets really confusing for guys like myself that want to keep our cars looking great. So many products that are out there that are pricey and do roughly the same as the cheaper brands. So thank you for this.
it is true for an diyer but common sense is the key for choosing.
Thanks Derek! I appreciate the feedback.
@@gailgutierrez9118 true but i don't want to spend all that time researching these products since im not in the business of detailing cars. So these videos help
I love the P&S wheel cleaner. Works like a charm. I would love for you to do a video on the different levels of paint correction. ( From a new car to an old used one). Which pads to use and when. Thanks for another informative video.
Yes, this would be nice to watch.
Amazing, entertaining and educational👍🏻. I would love to see a part two. Phenomenal work Pan as always!

How did you discover my channel by the way?
Thank you Pan for all the great content you put out. I have enjoyed detailing my cars ever since I started driving back in the 1960's. I never realized back in those old days that when I would spend the time waxing my ride and then the next time I washed it with my Mom's dish soap I was stripping the wax back off. LOL. I've come a long way since then. Keep up the great work.
Thanks for the feedback David! I like sharing my knowledge and passion for detailing with you guys. We should never stop learning in our lives, there are always new things to learn and the technologies keep improving too. :)
I have been watching Pan for a while, I own quite a few of the detailing products that he talked about in this video.
I just want to take a minute to admire you Pan for making a video like this for the newbies and those starting out. You really don't need a expensive products and equipment to get a clean detailed vehicle. Everything Pan has talked about is 100% on the dot.
Thanks Paaaaaan
Thanks for that Daniel! And thanks for the trust you place in my opinions.
Really gr8 content and presentation Pan. As the supply side of the industry continues to see no end I believe we often get lost in all of it - the latest and greatest...
That being said, as long as you have good decent solid products I believe nothing replaces experience, persistence, patience and dedication to do a good job. Thx 4 your tutorials and passion. 👍
Thank you !!
Great to see a video like this. Well done as always. Thank you Pan for all the options.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Pan check the ryobi 1800 psi 1.2 home pressure washer. Works great. I got 2 of them on sale from Home Depot for $99.00 each. Gave one to my brother in law. Works great in a foam cannon and vehicles. Great for my patio as well.
Can't wait to see what I can learn from this video. Hope all is well pan !
Thanks Jorge! I'm doing well and I hope you are too! Have a great weekend!
Thanks Pan, this was very timely, with Amazon's Prime Day coming in a few days. I was given a used entry level SunJoe pressure washer, and I was looking for something better. But I'm not ready for a Kranzle yet. I'll get the Karcher instead.
Yeah Karcher makes great bang for buck units. Heck before I had my expensive Kranzle, I had a Karcher K5 for over a decade and it was still going like new.
A forever addiction is what I have regarding detailing and detailing products. Professor Pan knocked it out of the park again! Lots of good stuff was described and suggested here. Thank You, Pan!
Right on!
I can’t say enough about your channel, your awesome pan! As always priceless info from you. 🙏🏼 . All us subscribers appreciate you!
Thanks Keith! I appreciate the support.
Awesome work, Pan. I have to thank you for bringing me out of my Chemical Guys rut, and introducing to me these quality products within all these brands. One video im waiting for is the application of the so-called powerful combination proposed by Turtle Wax, with their Ceramic-Graphene Paste wax, topped with their Graphene Flex wax. Thank you again for reading this
I unfortunately don't have enough time to produce every single product combination in the world, as I test hundreds and hundreds of products yearly. But nothing stops you from testing it out yourself. Not much can go wrong there. Enjoy experimenting! Before I started my channel, I was always experimenting. Over 25 years of detailing and still love it to this day. I never wait for someone else to try stuff for me. I try it and see the results myself. ;)
I did the combo you are speaking of and the results are amazing. The paint feels sooo smooth, nice beautiful shine. I did the foam wash + hand wash to remove any previous carwash wax, iron decontamination, clay mitt, paint correction, turtle wax paste wax ceramic + graphene and top it off with the turtle wax graphene flex wax spray. Took me a good 12hrs todo my full size truck as it was my first time ever but all well worth it. Thanks Pan for the great videos.
Brother, thank you soooo much!! Can we all just take a sec and recognize what an amazing job Pan does at providing support and insight to so many in the detailing community. This list is exactly what I needed right now as I am only weeks away from launching my new business. I really appreciate your content (maybe you should look into starting a patreon page to allow people in the community to directly support you?) Thanks again and stay blessed my bro 👊👊👊
Thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate the support from viewers like you! It gives me the energy and motivation needed to continue producing awesome videos for my community. Making videos is very hard and demanding, and each one can take up to 10-15 hours to produce. So it's nice to know that my efforts don't go unnoticed by my viewers. :)

I just got my 1st car - a white C-HR & because it is 3+ years old & was a lease car before, there are pros & cons in having it. Your channel helped me a lot in cleaning the hard to reach places that are usually taken for granted. It is very satisfying to slowly restore the car as much as possible. It is part of my weekly routine now. Very happy I found your channel.

@@PanTheOrganizer Thank you. I hope & pray to always drive safely.
I just searched “how to clean car for beginners”. Then after scrolling through a few vids, I found your channel. Now I know the proper order in cleaing the car inside out. Just finished using a ceramic wax & sealant on it by following your videos. The car is so much better. It helped my OCD in cleaning. It took me 3 weekends to find the products that work for me & learning the process of cleaning but now I think I can clean my car better than the local car wash. 😅

I found your channel on yt...trying to do something that may makes me feel proud as in being the one lucky guy that drives an almost 20 year old Ford focus wagon with no big repairs, slow but reliable, good chassis ,no rust, good breaks etc.Mechanicly in good condition. So I can spend money on the body and interior ..after new tires and yearly inspection for road permit. To put it in perspective; some set of tires of Audi,Mercedes, or big suv are more expensive then my car purchase and parts&repairs in three years. A tribute to the poor man's daily driver.
Thank you Pan. Blessings to you.
Cheers!

Thanks for watching!
I have been detailing cars and motorcycles for about 50 years as a non-professional basis. I've used products from "box" auto parts stores as well as dedicated auto detailing supply stores. I have been most impressed with products from COAT'S AUTO DETAILING SUPPLIES in Fullerton, CA. While restoring a 1930 Harley Davidson from New Zealand,, the tires were brown with dirt and multiple products were unable to get the brown out. I used the COAT'S TIRE CLEANER and the tires were restored to flat black, ready for tire dressing. Once dressed the tires looked NEW! The TIRE CLEANER also restores white walls to white, while other products leave the white walls yellow. The staff are very friendly, professional and generous with samples of their products for you to try. Their prices are very fair. I highly reccommend them.
Very informative. I have had the Karcher K5 Premium for 12 years with trouble free usage. I did upgrade the hose ...quality and increased length.
I also had the Karcher K5 for over a decade, and it was still going like new, until I wanted a higher end Kranzle 1122 TST. Karcher makes great value products.
Great video and some good tips here. Thanks Pan!
Thanks Shea!
Very very helpful video Pan. I’m looking to get into detailing and there’s so much info for starters but this nailed it. I take your word for it appreciate your wisdom man.
Thanks Jimmy! I appreciate the feedback.
Really helpfull video for the ones that are starting their small business with a smaller budget. I had a K5 to start with but for me it was not that good. I had a lot of troubles with it. Like the hose it never let go of the form when its rolled up. The pressure dropped a lot and sometimes it didnt even work. First thing I did was save money for a Kranzle hd 10/122 ts best choice I ever made.
I love my Kranzle 1122TST as well! Last pressure washer you’ll ever need. 😁👍🏻

My two best car cleaning products for deep cleaning is Pinalen all purpose cleaner, it’s like $6 for 2gl. From wheels at full strength to 25% on general cleaning. And Tide cleans interiors amazingly a table spoon or two in a spray bottle works great even on leather!!! Also tide is a great hand cleaner for greasy grimy hands!! Been using both of these for an easy ten years with no issues.

Pan. I just finished detailing the exterior of my car relying heavily on your detailing 101 videos. Thank you very much for sharing your expertise. My 20-year-old daily driver turned out much better than I expected!
As I inspected my polishing work with an LED pen flashlight I was not sure whether I should focus on the reflected image of the diodes to find blurry spots or focus on the difused light around the diodes. Perhaps you could do a video showing what it is you are looking for when you do your light inspection? Thanks again for all your videos and sharing your expertise.
Thanks Laura! I appreciate the feedback.
Would love to see a video on polishing equipment. I use a lot of the products you mentioned in this video and they are great. I got my first Porsche last year and you have really helped me maintain the it. Thank you
Noted.
Here's something i'd like to see in one of your videos how to clean chrome exhaust tips and chrome in general .Thanks for all your informative videos.
I already did in a few videos including this one: czcams.com/video/0lC9uyKXs8Q/video.html
Superior Dark Fury at Oreillys. $25 a gallon. Makes 5 gallons of wheel and tire cleaner with proper dilution of 4 to 1. Excellent value and better than brake buster.
Pan, great video, thanks for taking the time to put this together!
As suggested, a paint correction version of this style of video would be much appreciated and also would provide additional and critical education to the field.
Thanks!
I appreciate you sharing your information.💯✊🏾

Another great post. Thank you.
Thanks Philip!
I recently discovered your channel and your quickly becoming my favorite detailing channel!!! I'm a diy weekend warrior and looking to learn more to up my game. Many channels push products to make money. Im a minimalist and hate needing so much equipment and different products, cleaners, supplies, ect ... Too easy to fall into a rabbit hole always looking for the next best thing. I plea with you to come out with more beginner simplistic videos that you give advice on what minimal equipment and specific methods and supplies you need to improve car detailing 90% better than the average person. I'm trying to create a car care routine that I can implement and use on a regular basis without constantly seeking out new improved methods and products. I'm looking for a tried and true simple quick and effective routine I can use for years to come. I really like the idea of doing a monthly maintenance wash, starting with a wash using a traffic film remover or best method to strip old wax/grease/film, followed by drying (not sure if towel vs leaf blower is faster as I'd prefer using just one method), followed by a wax and grease remover like duplicolor, followed by some type of paint sealant. My thought is to strip all wax each time I wash the car and then just apply a fresh coat of paint sealant after each wash. If I perform this routine 30 days I can have max protection and avoid needing frequent paint corrections. I figured doing a light clay with light polish correction once per year. What's your thoughts on this method and and suggestions would earn a long term new supporter!!!! Thank you!

I have a popular car wash tutorial showing how to properly clean your car on a weekly or monthly basis here: czcams.com/video/7Koj5j2Es5U/video.html
There is no need to strip the sealant off each time you wash your car. If you use proper washing and drying methods, you shouldn’t need to polish your car for over a year or more.
Now if you want to properly decontaminate and polish your paintwork before applying a good protection like a ceramic coating, watch my tutorial here: czcams.com/video/sqQYVjxFqK0/video.html
Thank you for providing more new information.
😁👍🏻
Brilliant, because we can get most of these products shipped to New Zealand, very helpful, thanks Pan.
Great video Pan I always buy my detailing high end products from Amazon such as Gyeon , Koch Chemie , or obsessed garage, if I can't find it on Amazon I go directly to the website and buy that item there that's only if they ship to Australia but luckily most of the online stores do ship here.
Thanks for sharing!
Hey Pan!! I Love your content.. You inspired me to become a Professional Detailer.. I started detailing seriously about 7-8 years ago, and I used to have the privilege of detailing private jets.. Anyway my question for today is.. What is or How do you properly wash/clean your tire applicators specifically the foam ones? Appreciate you taking the time to answer my question.. Enjoy the rest of your day and keep up the great work!!!

To answer your question, I don’t clean my tire dressing applicators as that’s their only purpose. I lay them on top of an old microfiber towel after use.
If you want to clean them, just soak them overnight in a solution of hot water and a bit of APC in it (3:1 ratio), brush them and rinse them out the next day.
Gauntlet towel and waffle weave towels are great.
Great summary. I will look forward to the video on polishers.
Coming soon!
Great overview Pan!
Thanks Peter!
Pan, this is outstanding. You answered many questions. I took so many notes and will shop with your links. Well done and Thank You
You are so welcome!
Great video Pan. Keep up the great work.
Thanks Brian!
Pan , Excellent video wish someone showed me this way back when I started. Just an idea for a video on Walmart. I went there and they have a whole aisle of detailing products name brands at lower costs, to my surprise. Example: wash bucket caddies for 10 dollars at our local store. Always enjoy your videos I consider them my weekly training refresher courses. Take care.
Thanks Bradley! Luckily, with my videos, my viewers get to learn a lot and save themselves from costly mistakes. :)
Great video, Pan. Having watched many of your videos, I have almost all of the items you chose in this video. And they all work very well. The only thing I would add is Chemical Guys pad cleaner. It does an excellent job of cleaning polishing pads and microfiber towels that have metal polish residue in them. Keep up the great work.
Awesome! Thank you!
I just bought on June 26, Turtle wax hybrid solutions tire and wheel prep and hybrid solutions graphene tire shine. I used chemical guys ceramic detailing spray on the wheels. I then drove my 21 Ram 1500 1200 miles. On highways, mountain roads, dirt roads. Climbed Mt. Washington. My son also drove his 22 Ram 1500 with no coating on his tires or wheels. Mine still look good . His are all brown. Mine cleaned up great with just soap and water. I only used one coat as well . Great product and not expensive.
Thanks for sharing your experience!
Another great video. And I love the fact you have Cdn links for us living north of the 49th. I will use your links - thanks once again.

Was pleased to see I have most of these chemicals and tools! I just got an Active pressure washer from OG and that is another good lower cost option. I do have the Bissell and that as you say a great machine. Gotta get the Scrub Ninja tool though!
Yeah the Active is probably the best sub-500$ pressure washer if one can afford it. Especially the newer 2.0 version: bit.ly/3PkNVCN
Best products to clean, protect and seal convertible tops.
Great video and all good choices 👍! Appreciate you taking the time to make these.
Thanks!

Great video thanks Pan.
Thanks William!
I would suggest Geyon Wet Coat for paint sealant. I love that stuff to death and I detail for my parents but don't want a full ceramic coating, Geyon wet coat is a great alternative and from what I've seen, I get about 4 solid months of protection when taken care of.
