When my wife and I started detailing a few years ago you were our authority on everything lol. We learned so much from you and have a flourishing business. We watched the reviews for most of these products from you and we bought them all. We've tried a few other products because it's always best to try for yourself, but I have to say that trying other products was a waste of time honestly. The Gauntlet is incredible. Definitely changed the game for me because I detail in the desert and needed an extra large extra absorbent towel to dry quick before the sun does. The adams polish applicator made dressing tires one of my favorite parts of the car. The mcullough steamer increased quality and decreased the amount of effort we have to put in on the interiors drastically. The Bissel carpet extractor is a very VERY cheap option for adding a kind of pricey service. I have my lilly brush that I use on every single vehicle.
This is a very spot on list of very high quality products. I use the honeydew melon chemical guys snowfoam and meguiars hybrid ceramic wax spray. You can actually dilute the VRP and use it on the entire interior of the vehicle. Even leather. It's my go to finish. I love the smooth matte finish it has the perfect amount of shine. The adam's polish buckets are cool and cheap but my local home depot has ones that are colored like the state flag for where I live (Yellow bucket with Red Zia in the middle, New Mexico) And they were a little more expensive but they look cool and I feel like people notice them and like them. Everyone is all about the Zia here lol. Something a lot of beginning detailers don't think about that I've never seen a youtuber talk about is taking a break. Bring a cooler with a lunch in it and some waters. Get one of those nice big keep your drink cold for 2 days nice cups so you don't have to run to the cooler all the time. If at any point in time you feel yourself slowing down or getting impatient with a difficult spot take a step back. Drink some water. Take a bite of a snack. Breathe and look at something other than the car and then come back to it. Seems like common sense, but... I didn't start doing stuff like this until almost 2 years in. I just detailed hungry and didn't care because I was grinding hard. But every once in awhile I would get impatient with a spot and leave it not as good as I could've been. Now it's all about keeping myself hydrated and well fed. I even stretch before hand and do a little breathing exercising because I know I'm about to be stooping and leaning and stuff for hours. My quality of service went up tenfold by paying more attention to myself than the vehicle.
Thanks for all of your content. Please never stop. I always support your affiliate links when making purchases and wish you all of the success in the world.

I have and used P&S Brake Buster since it came out, 3:1 ratio in my IK Foam 9
for my maintence needs. This product is more about a smart purchase more than being on a budget IMO. It's fun to use in a foamer, does a great job for maintence cleaning and has that ingredient in it that doesn't rust your rotors as much. I can honestly say that as long as they make it, I'll be buying/using it👍👍

I just searched “how to clean car for beginners”. Then after scrolling through a few vids, I found your channel. Now I know the proper order in cleaing the car inside out. Just finished using a ceramic wax & sealant on it by following your videos. The car is so much better. It helped my OCD in cleaning. It took me 3 weekends to find the products that work for me & learning the process of cleaning but now I think I can clean my car better than the local car wash. 😅

So I can spend money on the body and interior ..after new tires and yearly inspection for road permit. To put it in perspective; some set of tires of Audi,Mercedes, or big suv are more expensive then my car purchase and parts&repairs in three years. A tribute to the poor man's daily driver.

I have been detailing cars and motorcycles for about 50 years as a non-professional basis. I've used products from "box" auto parts stores as well as dedicated auto detailing supply stores. I have been most impressed with products from COAT'S AUTO DETAILING SUPPLIES in Fullerton, CA. While restoring a 1930 Harley Davidson from New Zealand,, the tires were brown with dirt and multiple products were unable to get the brown out. I used the COAT'S TIRE CLEANER and the tires were restored to flat black, ready for tire dressing. Once dressed the tires looked NEW! The TIRE CLEANER also restores white walls to white, while other products leave the white walls yellow. The staff are very friendly, professional and generous with samples of their products for you to try. Their prices are very fair. I highly reccommend them.

I recently discovered your channel and your quickly becoming my favorite detailing channel!!! I'm a diy weekend warrior and looking to learn more to up my game. Many channels push products to make money. Im a minimalist and hate needing so much equipment and different products, cleaners, supplies, ect ... Too easy to fall into a rabbit hole always looking for the next best thing. I plea with you to come out with more beginner simplistic videos that you give advice on what minimal equipment and specific methods and supplies you need to improve car detailing 90% better than the average person. I'm trying to create a car care routine that I can implement and use on a regular basis without constantly seeking out new improved methods and products. I'm looking for a tried and true simple quick and effective routine I can use for years to come. I really like the idea of doing a monthly maintenance wash, starting with a wash using a traffic film remover or best method to strip old wax/grease/film, followed by drying (not sure if towel vs leaf blower is faster as I'd prefer using just one method), followed by a wax and grease remover like duplicolor, followed by some type of paint sealant. My thought is to strip all wax each time I wash the car and then just apply a fresh coat of paint sealant after each wash. If I perform this routine 30 days I can have max protection and avoid needing frequent paint corrections. I figured doing a light clay with light polish correction once per year. What's your thoughts on this method and and suggestions would earn a long term new supporter!!!! Thank you!

I have a popular car wash tutorial showing how to properly clean your car on a weekly or monthly basis here: czcams.com/video/7Koj5j2Es5U/video.html
There is no need to strip the sealant off each time you wash your car. If you use proper washing and drying methods, you shouldn’t need to polish your car for over a year or more.
Now if you want to properly decontaminate and polish your paintwork before applying a good protection like a ceramic coating, watch my tutorial here: czcams.com/video/sqQYVjxFqK0/video.html

To answer your question, I don’t clean my tire dressing applicators as that’s their only purpose. I lay them on top of an old microfiber towel after use.
If you want to clean them, just soak them overnight in a solution of hot water and a bit of APC in it (3:1 ratio), brush them and rinse them out the next day.
