    I have seen countless detailing videos from famous youtubers recently and I must say this is the one that I felt most comfortable with. Others (everybody knows who all of them are) just drown you in product after product after product and you keep wondering why the hell am I supposed to use this ultimate shiner when I just used this gold shiner after the super shiner? and while you are thinking that, the detailer throws the super ultimate gold shiner in your face. I mean, honestly, most of the time I feel that they are just marketing guys selling products and their strategy is to confuse you with throwing names after names and brands after brands at you.
    This video on the other hand felt like an honest person telling us about his personal knowledge and experience. Well done Sir!

    Great videos man! I always enjoy your positive outlook and laid back, informative content. Side note, my buddy (professional detailer) introduced me to using ONR diluted 1oz ONR to 32oz water for the interior. It works great, smells wonderful and protects. I go back and forth between that and P&S interior. P&S definitely flashes completely and leaves zero residue.

      @@HawaiiDetailing Also, do you recommend waxing the car too? Or is Bead Maker enough? Thanks!

    • @HawaiiDetailing
      @HawaiiDetailing  Před 3 lety +1

      @@pattyk2949 Bead maker is more than enough. You should apply it after each wash as a drying aid or after drying if you use a blower. Make sure for the first few applications that you use enough product so that the surface has a slick feel to it when dry. You can test the effectiveness of your application by putting a small amount of water on the paint to make sure that it is beading up nice. Wait 8 hrs after applying so that it is fully cured. Use more or less product each wash based on your previous results. Each time you do a wash inspect for beading and slickness to make sure that the protection is lasting. I am going to do a video talking more about all this soon. It is a very easy product to use and works really well. If you have any more questions feel free to ask. Thanks for watching.

    Hey Jeremy, great video! Thanks for being so thorough for someone that is just starting out. Question for you: why do your recommendations for microfiber towels vary in gpm? I imagine it has to do with the purpose or liquid that the towel will be taking (drying tires @ 420gpm vs drying aid at 500gpm vs interior cleaner @ 365gpm) but I wanted ask to see if I was missing anything on your reasoning for it? I was planning on buying the 10pack of 420gpm towels in different colors since it’s the best bang for buck, but don’t want to use the wrong towel on the wrong surface. Thanks!

    • @HawaiiDetailing
      @HawaiiDetailing  Před 2 lety +1

      Its personal preference. I do have my go to towels for sure but either way you cant go wrong. These towels that I have listed have been my long running favorites. • @HawaiiDetailing
      @HawaiiDetailing  Před 3 lety +3

      Thanks for watching. I definitely try to wash them separate. That’s another good reason to have a larger supply of towels. I have about 20-30 of each. If you wash them together there could be contamination transfer and there is definitely lint transfer and that puts different color lint all over all the towels.

    Do you prefer bead maker to tech choice cherimic spray? I use tech choice. We had a version of bead maker from another brand.. and didnt like it. But it’s a different brand so that could be all the difference.

    What dilution do you use for p&s brake buster?

    • @HawaiiDetailing
      @HawaiiDetailing  Před 2 lety

      You can run it straight for the tougher clean ups or dilute it down to 1:1 if it’s a light clean up. I try to match the dilution to match the mess. I want it to break down the grime with minimal agitation. If you are agitating too much increase the BB amount in your dilution. Lately I have been putting 100% BB in my foam cannon and letting the foam cannon dilute it. It’s way easier to apply and takes most of the work out of it.

    I have another question 😅
    When washing at a self service bay, using a 2 bucket method. Do you use their low rinse soap to create “soap/foam” to create extra lubrication? Or do you just high pressure rinse the car and go in with your soap & mitt to clean the car?
    Thanks I’m advance!

    • @HawaiiDetailing
      @HawaiiDetailing  Před 2 lety +1

      You can use their soap as a pre wash. Spray it on. Let it dwell and rinse. I would follow up with the 2 bucket contact wash. Rinse with water and dry using a drying aid and you are good to go. If you are unsure of their soap quality or you car is not that dirty you could skip the pre wash with their soap and go straight to:
      Power wash the car to rinse away any loose dirt
      2 bucket contact wash
      Dry with drying aid and a drying towel.

    When it comes to washing microfiber towels you can wash all of them togeather?

    • @HawaiiDetailing
      @HawaiiDetailing  Před 2 lety

      Its not ideal but it can be done if you do not have enough towels to make it worth it. I would try to separate by color and task if able. I would purchase more towels and wait until you have a small load to wash them separately. You do not want brake dust on your polishing towels etc. They will also shed on each other.

    • @HawaiiDetailing
      @HawaiiDetailing  Před 3 lety +1

      Thanks. Breakbuster is not a no rinse product. You can however use the ONR No Rinse wash on the rims and tires if you clean them routinely. If they are too caked with break dust than a traditional wheel wash may be needed.

    • @HawaiiDetailing
      @HawaiiDetailing  Před 3 lety +1

      @@josemunozmatos5603 thanks. Yeah I think you could do that but I would start by using the No rinse on the rims and tires.
