This has honestly been the best video I've seen so far of beginners items. And I'll tell you I have seen everybody Pan, obssesend, Everybody!!
Thanks a lot. I appreciate the compliment. Glad you enjoyed it.
💯
I have seen countless detailing videos from famous youtubers recently and I must say this is the one that I felt most comfortable with. Others (everybody knows who all of them are) just drown you in product after product after product and you keep wondering why the hell am I supposed to use this ultimate shiner when I just used this gold shiner after the super shiner? and while you are thinking that, the detailer throws the super ultimate gold shiner in your face. I mean, honestly, most of the time I feel that they are just marketing guys selling products and their strategy is to confuse you with throwing names after names and brands after brands at you.
This video on the other hand felt like an honest person telling us about his personal knowledge and experience. Well done Sir!
Thanks a lot. I appreciate it. If you ever have any questions feel free to ask.
Yeeeahhhh! This is exactly the one I was lookin for! Links to the videos of you hitting those spots were 👌. I got the express interior cleaner for Christmas and some microfiber clothes. Hoping to pick up more of the things you use, because your M3 always looks super fresh. Thanks for putting this together!
You are welcome. Thanks for watching.
30 seconds into the video , I already subscribed! Can’t wait to sit back and watch your priceless clips! Thanks for the info homie!
Thanks a lot. Thanks for watching
You're a good dude with fine products and an awesome channel! thanks for sharing with us!
You are welcome. If you ever have any questions don’t hesitate to ask. Thanks for watching
This man is a legend
Thank you. Thanks for watching the channel. I appreciate it.
Thanks man was really having a hard time finding some essential items !
Great videos man! I always enjoy your positive outlook and laid back, informative content. Side note, my buddy (professional detailer) introduced me to using ONR diluted 1oz ONR to 32oz water for the interior. It works great, smells wonderful and protects. I go back and forth between that and P&S interior. P&S definitely flashes completely and leaves zero residue.
Thanks for the info.
Im getting ready to start detailing on the side and this video was the best! Thank you so much man!
Your welcome. Thanks for watching
The quality of this video is tremendous. The information is so helpful for new detailers. On top of that I see this guy replying to comments 2 years after the video. Incredible. True stand up guy. You got my hard earned sub Mr. Hawaii man. Also i'm going to give pns a try! I've been using a lot of chemical guys but its not worth the cost
Thank you. You will enjoy PNS products. They are good quality at a great price.
Awesome video, I’m new to detailing and your videos have been real helpful.
Thank you. I appreciate it.
Hey man I enjoy your videos for real ! I will use a lot of your knowledge and tricks to wash and clean my MR2 like a pro ! Greeting from Québec
Thanks a lot. I appreciate it. Greetings my friend.
Thanks! Great video I liked this one more than others.
Thanks for watching. Glad you liked it.
Great video, thanks for the info!
Great job brother. I have just started detailing my truck and car. I’m using a lot of the products you mention. They all work great. I think I apply to much product sometimes but I’m learning. Thanks for all the tips.
Yeah. Nice. Thanks.
This vid was very helpful to me! Great job.
Glad it helped! Thanks for watching
HTD, love your work! Great job!!!
Thanks a lot.
Great video .. I have been detailing my own and family members cars for 20 years and use most of the products you suggested with great success. The only thing I would have added to your video collection would have been a fine grade clay bar or clay mitt. Without this is very hard to see the total benefit of keeping your exterior looking it’s best! Thanks for all your work making this video, definitely subscribed!
Thanks for sharing and subscribing. I appreciate it
Great video. Thank you very much for sharing.
Thank you for watching.
This video was very helpful
After a year and a half of being a part time detailer. This video is such a great sum up and is literally what I wish I would have seen a year and a half ago.
Thanks. I appreciate it. Glad you enjoyed the video.
Good job! Thank you!
Thanks for watching.
This awesome stuff. the has helped me move through my personal vehicles with efficiency and saves me money.... I feel like I owe ya' a beer . Thanks for sharing.
Hahaha. Thanks
Last week I came across your channel looking for the proper way to clean my 2 yr old Model 3 and immediately subscribed after the first video I watched of yours. Thank you for simple and clear directions and links to the great products you recommend. I have already purchased a few of your recommendations and like them. I'm a fan!
Thanks a lot. I appreciate it. Glad you enjoyed the videos.
@@HawaiiDetailing Also, do you recommend waxing the car too? Or is Bead Maker enough? Thanks!
@@pattyk2949 Bead maker is more than enough. You should apply it after each wash as a drying aid or after drying if you use a blower. Make sure for the first few applications that you use enough product so that the surface has a slick feel to it when dry. You can test the effectiveness of your application by putting a small amount of water on the paint to make sure that it is beading up nice. Wait 8 hrs after applying so that it is fully cured. Use more or less product each wash based on your previous results. Each time you do a wash inspect for beading and slickness to make sure that the protection is lasting. I am going to do a video talking more about all this soon. It is a very easy product to use and works really well. If you have any more questions feel free to ask. Thanks for watching.
@@HawaiiDetailing I washed the car on Sunday and tested Bead Maker on the hood. I definitely didn't use enough product! Thanks for explaining n detail. Psyched to get this right next wash! I appreciate your help and look forward to more videos. Yeah!
Happy New Year Hawaii Tesla. You are so passionate in your videos. Thx! Oh. second view, second comment!
Thanks for watching and happy new year to you too. Good to see you in the first to comment race.
Very organized, great video man!
Thanks a lot I appreciate it. Thanks for watching
Perfect. I have detailed for a couple years and I’d use the exact same products.
Great to hear!
Amazingly simple on how you deliver the advice from a professionals standpoint to an amateur! Awesome channel and man I would buy you a beer for the great advice!
Awesome, thank you!
Another great video 💯👌🏽
Thanks a lot.
Funny I have all those items. Great minds think alike. Thanks
Yeah. Thanks for watching.
im glad some of these products are sold in my country Malaysia
Love your channel
Thanks.
Thank you sir I have been spending hours reading on Reddit about best brands and products where this whole time this gem of a video was here. I currently just got into detailing my car as a fun addicting hobby and have a arsenal of only Chem guys products but I heard they weren’t the best. So I appreciate this video and will be replicating this set up. Thank you ver very much
Thanks for watching
This is an excellent well detailed vid - 10 stars
Thanks a lot.
Great video man! I also use brake buster, vrp & bead maker
They are good products. I like them all. Thanks for watching.
Congrats on 1k subs!
Thanks a lot.
Well done, to the point, didn’t say “ceramic” or “graphine “ or “hydrophobic”. A video for mortals. Finally. Thanks man.
Thanks for watching. I am glad you enjoyed
New Subscriber. Look forward to learning the trade. Great videos.
Thanks l appreciate it. Welcome.
Perfect! I agree 💯 on the Chemical Guys VRP. It's been my go-to for years and is one of only two repeat purchases I make of their products.
I'm going to try the P&S brake buster this season. I also use a lot of wheel cleaner so the gallon size seems like it could save some $.
Great video, thanks!🙂
The Stoner's is a long term use product for me too.
Great to hear. These are all good solid products. If you want to see what my most current go to products are check out my website. I go into detail about my latest process and products. Thanks for watching the channel. I appreciate it. Www.hawaiidetailing.com.
Great video
Thanks
This guy is a straight OG
Thanks
Videos like these with less views than others actually provide WAY MORE VALUE, funny isn’t it. Thank you for making this
Thanks.
Thanks! Good video. Invisible Glass is great. I have been experimenting with ONR also on the interior glass. Works pretty good too!
ONR is pretty versatile stuff. I use it quite a bit. I have another ONR vid coming soon. Thanks for watching
Great video men
Thanks a lot.
Well, I was sub #998 so you should make 1k today. Good start to a new year I’d say.
Thanks a lot.
Hey Jeremy, great video! Thanks for being so thorough for someone that is just starting out. Question for you: why do your recommendations for microfiber towels vary in gpm? I imagine it has to do with the purpose or liquid that the towel will be taking (drying tires @ 420gpm vs drying aid at 500gpm vs interior cleaner @ 365gpm) but I wanted ask to see if I was missing anything on your reasoning for it? I was planning on buying the 10pack of 420gpm towels in different colors since it’s the best bang for buck, but don’t want to use the wrong towel on the wrong surface. Thanks!
Its personal preference. I do have my go to towels for sure but either way you cant go wrong. These towels that I have listed have been my long running favorites. I do prefer a dual nap towel in most cases. High on one side and low on the other. I plan to do a video soon talking more about the towels. Thanks for watching
I like the color microfiber cloths that match the product.
Thank you. I appreciate you watching the channel.
Awesome! Can you possibly do 1 for intermediate and pro level? Your the Bestest!
Great idea. Thanks.
Have you tried using ONR on the interior? Works and smells amazing!
I have used ONR on just about everything. Great product. Use it to spot clean all the time. thanks for watching.
Good video and I use a lot of these products too. Just curious as how do you clean all those micro towels; together or keep them separated? Yeah....keep up the good work and videos; I enjoy them. Aloha!
Thanks for watching. I definitely try to wash them separate. That’s another good reason to have a larger supply of towels. I have about 20-30 of each. If you wash them together there could be contamination transfer and there is definitely lint transfer and that puts different color lint all over all the towels.
Good product gualiti
Thanks for watching
those are some good products
Thanks for watching
I recently jumped into the rabbit hole of CZcamsr auto detailers and it didn't take me long to realize I pretty much only resonate with your style of delivery. Your zest for detailing, and life, shines through. Plus I love that you don't say "hey guys" every other minute! My only suggestion, from one surfer dude to another, is to let your hair hang out. Let that freak flag fly bro!
Thanks a lot. I appreciate you following my channel.
This was a good run down! Almost 1000 subscribers bro, keep it up sir
Thanks a lot.
Cool channel. Newbies will go to Autozone, and come home with 5 bottles of stuff that just duplicates one another. Those of us who have been detailing cars for 50 years, just buy an empty spray bottle, and fill it with a 50/50 mix of Mr. Clean and water. This solution will clean anything.
Yeah. Thanks for checking out the channel.
Great video.. I am learning a lot from watching your videos about cleaning my new Tesla Model 3.. Can I please ask about the stainless steel shelves where you keep all your cleaning products .. Are they custom made or you bought it from somewhere? Also what are the dimensions of the two wall mounted shelves?
I bought them. They are in and out of stock. a.co/7jFjrWQ. Thanks for watching
Tbh I just started detailing but this is a good vid for a beginner like myself
Thanks for watching
@@HawaiiDetailing your welcome its so helpful
Aloha good video thanks. Are you dealing with any of the Volcanic Ash? Pretty active on the Big Island.
Haha. No I am on Oahu. Probably a good show to see that lava though.
I heard u can put like 1 oz of ONR or any other waterless wash solutions to ur regular was bucket when u wash ur car with foam Canon and soap bucket. It's prevent water spot.
I know ONR helps with water spots when using it as a wash solution but I have not heard about adding it to other wash methods to help with water spots. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Thank you you are absolutely the best, really good teacher!
Thanks a lot I appreciate the compliment. Thanks for watching
ayyy 1000th like
Thanks.
Good comentario
Thanks for watching
Subscribed 👍 I use vrp chemical guys water based for wheels
Thanks
The Kevin Nealon of auto detailing!
Hahaha. Funny
youre great
Thanks
I love your voice! It reminds me of a soft Bob Ross version of Rob gronkowski
Hahaha. Thanks.
@@HawaiiDetailing also are you okay out there with the Hawaii fires?
Can u use brake buster from p&s to clean undercarriage on top of wheels not the actual undercarriage but the part on top of wheels
Yes.
Can you make a video how to keep the dashboard dust free? Thank you!!
Will look into it. Thanks for watching and the suggestion.
This is just my opinion, but I recommend using meguiars products. They are extremely affordable compared to these and they work extremely well.
Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts.
I have a question for when you’re using the foam cannon as well; do you use the Adam’s shampoo in both the cannon and the bucket or use two different products?
You can use it in the bucket. Or you can use your favorite soap in the bucket. thanks for watching
You should review the Mad acid heavy duty wheel cleaner
I will look into it. Thanks for watching
Good tip on color code towels. Sometimes the wife, give's me a hand with the toys and this would be pretty easy to get her to know what i want and need. Yeah
Thanks.
Is waxing a car necessary in detailing? Especially in a mobile detailing where you will be detailing in the Summer HEAT? If so which products could you use
I do not use waxes anymore. I prefer spray paint protectants. There are plenty of great products out there. My favorite is Bead maker amzn.to/3lUkZDY
here is my review of it czcams.com/video/Zo21VrbquAM/video.html
Keep in mind that this is about a 30 day durability product. If you are doing routine maintenance its a great product. Always apply on cool paint in the shade if possible.
How do u wash your towels. Did u separate the exterior and interior towels and using washer delicate wash? Thank you
I do separate them the best I can. Check out this vid. HOW TO WASH AND DRY MICROFIBER TOWELS EASY & SAFE P&S RAGS TO RICHES REVIEW

Hi, any trouble with linting or frayed edges with the Rag co creature black towels? Read this in some reviews. I’m in the market for black wheel & tire towels. Thank you
I have not had any issues with mine. I use them all the time. They are nice. Take good care of them and they last a long time. Thanks for watching
@@HawaiiDetailing thank you. I always trust ur opinion 😊
@@larrys2554 thanks. I appreciate it.
Do you prefer bead maker to tech choice cherimic spray? I use tech choice. We had a version of bead maker from another brand.. and didnt like it. But it’s a different brand so that could be all the difference.
They are both good products. There is more durability with tech but I would have to put them head to head to call that. I enjoy using either pretty equal.
Could you do a segment on how to get water spots off windshield?

I’ve been looking through your videos for a how to wash your tools after a wash. Do you have one, And if you do would you be able to share the link with me please(:
I will make one soon. Thanks
@@HawaiiDetailing Awesome that would be really helpful!
So is that p&s xpress interior cleaner good for car seats too?
Yes
So when you do laundry do you do separate loads based on the color of your towels or do you wash them all together?
I try to do separately but every now and then I mix some together. I just try to keep the wheel and all purpose towels separate no matter what.
where do you get your products in hawaii. i’m from here too but it’s so hard to find good products without spending ridiculous shipping prices
Unfortunately I have to get most of my stuff from Amazon Prime. I try to use real stores when I can. There is a shop down town that has a few items and chemical guys in Pearl city but they are not my favorite choice. The links I put in the descriptions should be free shipping for most of the products I show on the channel.
Is there a video on how to wash all these items after washing your car? Like do you hand wash them or throw them in the washer
Yes check my video list.
What dilution do you use for p&s brake buster?
You can run it straight for the tougher clean ups or dilute it down to 1:1 if it’s a light clean up. I try to match the dilution to match the mess. I want it to break down the grime with minimal agitation. If you are agitating too much increase the BB amount in your dilution. Lately I have been putting 100% BB in my foam cannon and letting the foam cannon dilute it. It’s way easier to apply and takes most of the work out of it.
Just ordered the cleaners and towels lol I’m not washing the car, my husband is. This is going to be interesting trying to explain the need for 1k products 😂😅
I know what you mean. Using great products is worth the money. He will enjoy them. Thanks for watching
@@HawaiiDetailing exactly! We just dropped 50k on a car 😂😅
@@MariaMinter I know what that’s like too. Hahaha.
all those color matching towels do you wash them all together or only color by color?
You should wash separate but that does require having enough of each color to make a load. I usually store them dry in a bag until I have enough to do a load. Thanks for watching
what protectant do you recommend for leather car seats?
Here are a few solid products that will work great for you. Thanks for watching
This is some good stuff. bit.ly/3mxfbmd
Follow up with this bit.ly/2LZ91ej
Do you wash the tires first and then the car? I was just following along the order you did on the video.
Do you wash the tire polish applicator?
Wash the wheels first and the paint second. Yes after use wash the tire applicator also. Thanks for watching
Thanks.
Question. If I wash the wheel first and then I foam up the paint, the mega foam will get on the tires as well. Would that affect all the hard work I did on the tires first?
I have another question 😅
When washing at a self service bay, using a 2 bucket method. Do you use their low rinse soap to create “soap/foam” to create extra lubrication? Or do you just high pressure rinse the car and go in with your soap & mitt to clean the car?
Thanks I’m advance!
You can use their soap as a pre wash. Spray it on. Let it dwell and rinse. I would follow up with the 2 bucket contact wash. Rinse with water and dry using a drying aid and you are good to go. If you are unsure of their soap quality or you car is not that dirty you could skip the pre wash with their soap and go straight to:
Power wash the car to rinse away any loose dirt
2 bucket contact wash
Dry with drying aid and a drying towel.
@@HawaiiDetailing Thank you much for all your replies and feedback 🤙🏼
Since you have many soaps and other sealants etc, do they have any shelf life to them?
I am sure they do to some degree but it is very long and will be used up way before then. I think they will last years. Don't know for sure though.
When it comes to washing microfiber towels you can wash all of them togeather?
Its not ideal but it can be done if you do not have enough towels to make it worth it. I would try to separate by color and task if able. I would purchase more towels and wait until you have a small load to wash them separately. You do not want brake dust on your polishing towels etc. They will also shed on each other.
This is amazing!! If I want to rinselessly clean the wheels and tires, can I use the same purple product?
Thanks. Breakbuster is not a no rinse product. You can however use the ONR No Rinse wash on the rims and tires if you clean them routinely. If they are too caked with break dust than a traditional wheel wash may be needed.
Awesome, makes sense. Im curious, could I use a Pump Sprayer to “rinse” off the breakbuster or would a regular rinse be needed? Just bought a model 3 and live in an apartment complex, your vids have been super informative and helpful. Keep it up!
@@josemunozmatos5603 thanks. Yeah I think you could do that but I would start by using the No rinse on the rims and tires. Will work great as long as you keep up on it and don’t let it get to dirty. Watch my no rinse video and check out the pre soak method. czcams.com/video/ZMsDtrr3beM/video.html
That’s the way to go. You can do the whole car including the wheels.
Hello sir. I was wondering if we could send out some of our products for you to do a CZcams demo and review. Let me know
Thanks for reaching out and for extending the offer. I enjoy trying new products and sharing the products I like with my viewers. In order for me to review your product and share it with my viewers I have to first try it, test it, like it and most of all be sure that my viewers will like it. If this a process that interests you can reach me at Hawaiitesladetailing@gmail.com Thanks again for watching the channel.
for bead maker do you dilute it? fi so what ratio? Thanks!
I use it straight with no dilution. Thanks for watching.
@@HawaiiDetailing I saw that you on in one video that your pressure washer was pressurized already, do you keep it like that all the time? is it bad to have water flowing to the unit while not actively using it? Thank you!
@@DJKiuru When I am finished using the pressure washer I turn off the water and bleed off the pressure. I do keep it full of water otherwise you have to get all the air out of the hose every time you use it. In the video I had been using it before the shot. Thanks for watching.
How much would you say all these products cost overall to get started?
I don’t have a price but there are links in the description. Drop them in your cart and you can get a total. Thanks
I ceramic coated my car, it’s a 6 month application. Could I still use/ would it be bad if I used the bead maker?
Yes You should use a product like beadmaker to keep the surface slick. I use it while I am drying the car to lubricate the paint and it leaves a slick shiny surface after.
@@HawaiiDetailing Awesome thank you for your fast reply!!
