Mike coming in clutch with the KNOWLEDGE! need this to be a series.
Clutch.... To hold something/ connect the power from engine to gearbox 😂😂😂😂
This stuff has been around for 50+years man, nothing new.
@@fit4ya1975many things have. That doesn’t mean everyone knows it.
the hanging warmup is actually genius. will def incorporate that into all my lifts from now on. exellent video Daddy Mike
Love the tips and tricks! Really helpful, thanks Mike :)
The presentation is simple and clever - a fantastic instructor.
This was a helpful vid, especially adding a light dumbbell to the cable lateral raise! Thanks Mike!
Great content!! A load of really useful nuggets here! 💪

Been following mike since 2017, miss these kind of og workout videos
You have my dream body mike.
Thank you for posting these videos.
It’s really inspirational for me.
that strap tip for front squats was especially just so helpful, ty so much!
Excellent tips & tricks. Thanks Mike
l love the way you explain things, slowing it down and explaining it so clearly. Alot of other youtubers I watch tend to talk so fast, and it gives me anxiety watching their workout videos. Thanks Mike!!
YUM YUM
This was very helpful. Thank you, Mike!
Great video Mike! Cuffed Lateral Raises have been a gamechanger and 3.45 is spot on, much prefer setting up Bulgarians with a foam pad on a barbell a bit lower down, far more comfortable! 👍
Love all your content but this is still my favorite style!
I've been training for 20+ years and some of these tips are even new to me. NICE ONE!
Amazing advice Mike!
The cuffs work great for lateral raise on cable, love them
one additional trick for front squats is a PNF stretch of the lats to enable yourself to raise your elbows higher. Good tips Mike :)
Thanks for the very useful tips. Awesome!!!
These are great insights thanks, G
The hang warmup is a terrific way to start your session. .I'm 68, and it has done everything he talks about. Decompresses spine, straightens shoulders and improves grip.
after how long? I've been doing this the past 1-2months and my right shoulder is still lower : p and been doing it a few min per session - although only twice a week so far, will be doing it 4times a week, injured my knee so skipping leg workouts
@@aurelianspodarec2629 Bro if one of your shoulders is always lower than the other, you could have scoliosis. Go get it checked by a doctor, especially if you also get occasional back pain.
@@aurelianspodarec2629 my first warmup is the hanging, i do it for 1 min, puts me in the mood to continue forward. I'm 66.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge
Good ideas, thanks for sharing.
Mike really emphasises on injury prevention 👍
Thank you soooooo much, I'm a boomer newbie and this is sooo helpful! I'll reach my third month of training and I'll definitely use some of these techniques!!!!!!❤❤❤❤
The elbow hangers look like a game changer for working out the core. Thanks !!!

Thank you for the upload, I learnt a lot from this one video you clearly have passion and knowledge and you explain it in lay mans terms, I train most days, but not many gains but am going to try it your way.. Cheers Paz
Good video, I have already been using cuffs for quite a while with good results. As well.as delts I use them for pecs, lats, bis and Tris too.
Great tips!
Brilliant. Thank you
This was really helpful. I dont use weights much, but I know a ton of my gym peeps will benefit from this. Thank you Mike.
Looking amazing 👏🏻
Very useful ideas you gave thanks 🙏🏻
Genius, thanks for the tips
Thank you for your videos sir!
Love the content! Valuable information right there. Question, where did you get those training pants?
11:07 is the moment I saw the shy young Mike that got awkward or insecure before the camera. Good that you haven't changed that much with all the success that you've had. Good video.
This vid reminded me of the early days of this channel before all the ultra lifestyle flexy stuff
Always coming with the facts
Thank you Mike Thurston
Great tips 👌🏽 thanks!
Great hacks, thanks alot Mike God bless
Perfect man, and also with your send of humor 😂
Great tips, learnt something new
Very good bro, thanks for sharing.
Original goat advice 💪🏻
You think like an engineer. It's so refreshing to see this in the gym.
Thanks for the tips Mike, have you got a preference on the ab straps you use? What brand are they in the video?
Know most of them but still learned something. For new people this is an excelent video!
yea well I knew all of them
that front squat strap is genius!!!!
Hello from the Dominican Republic brother 🙋🏻♂️🇩🇴.
I've got one. When using the smith machine, place some blocks or pads under each of the arms then load the plates. Then you can start your set with a heavy weight but you aren't at the weakest position. When you push up the blocks just fall away and you do your set. Only needed when it's really heavy.
Mike that front squat hack is excellent. I am definitely going to try that hack on my next leg day. Can you advise which brand of wrist cuffs you use. TYVM!
PS - I've been following you for about five years now. Continued success!
Thanks Mike
Uncle Mike a legend 💪🏼
A lot of helpful tips in this video.
Lovely gym, so spacious with lots of machines for rotating training programs.
Top video Mike.
Hi mike thanks for the motivation. Because of you my physique has increased. Thanks alot❤🎉
Great video! Thx
I’m convinced this guy made this video just to show us how big his muscles are. Good god!
That was actually valuable
Great video.
Good tips. 👍
These were great. Definitely going to buy the wrist cuffs for doing the shoulder exercises, I always feel like my form is a little awkward and this could help
also the ab sling will work great in my gym
the 2 minute hang before and after the workout, I need to stretch out
and the split squat trick with the barbell and pad. I always feel off when using the bench, something a little lower makes sense
thanks
The wrist cuffs are definitely something I’d look to get as well. Did have a search on Amazon, but I could only find Ankle Cuffs. Does anyone know the Brand that Mike is using? Thanks
Same, appreciate any suggestions. Or can ankle cuffs be used as they have similar design?
Excellent 👌🏼💪🏼
thanks
Good tips!
nice to see you back to regular training tips and videos, i once followed but by the time you got on the more non training videos i unsubbed ;) but happy yo see your on track with the content i love to see again ;)

This guy the McGuyver of gym workouts!
any tips for shorter stature adults (under 5 ft) please. theres some equipment im not able to use as im a foot smaller every one else there are some i try my best with the lowest adjustments. I get a pump in the end with what can use of a 30 min workout. love your videos.
great stuff
Gold!
Yeah I do some of these already but thanks for the tips Mike!!
P.S Why not try wear a pair of Jordan12 when you squat? They flat n offer enough ankle support n cushioning ✅
Very usefull vidor, Thnx
These straps I’m a need to buy for lateral raises 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Great video. 🫡😎
While stretching is generally great and especially dead hangs have a lot of benefits, they are not at all recommended before a strength workout. Stretching before a strength workout can slightly fatigue your muscles and tendons and lead to worse workout performance and even to injuries.
Would love to see you collab with Joel Kellet!
Good ones.
Useful 💪😎
Great gym tips. Just bought the side lateral wrist attachment from Amazon.
Hi mate, do you know what the name of those were (Brand/Keywords etc). Thanks
