I’m almost as big of a homer for Mahomes as Nick. As a longtime chiefs fan it’s almost impossible not to be. But let me tell you it’s hard to love anybody as much as some of us love Mahomes. Not only is he a franchise QB who finally brought a championship to KC but it goes further because of the history of QBs on the team. Before Mahomes they hadn’t drafted a QB in the first round since 1983. And what makes that worse is that draft produced three HOF QBs and KC picked Blackledge above Jim Kelly and Marino. So that fact stings a lot that one of the rare times they did go for a QB they got it so wrong. And then the team spent forever always using journeymen QBs as their starter and it just never seemed they’d ever have the franchise guy that we saw elsewhere. So when Mahomes happened it was just more amazing as a fan than I could’ve imagined it being. Completely changed the team from a consistent disappointing one and done to being a contender for the SB every year.

His stats are nothing when compared to some of.... a lot of, the plays he makes on the field
He is amazing and not taking anything away from mahomes but inheritance of a division winning team with Kelce and Hill and how every rule in the last 5 years has been to help offense has not hurt him. Most young QBs don't get that to start. He is great but keep in mind 20 years ago he would not have these numbers the game has changed but he is arguably the best QB right now other than burrows. These two will be going at it with Allen for years were in a good time for QBs I look forward to this game.

Mahomes does the heavy lifting in the post season. Defense does the lifting for the bengals. Burrow just gets all the credit. 240 yards and 2 tds is a bad playoff game for mahomes. Its burrow's best playoff game.

George Blanda did play in replacement of Lamonica in the 1970 AFC championship game between the Raiders and the Colts.
First things First, these guys make me laugh and the facts they give out are great. I watch Undisputed, First Take, PTI and First Things First. These guys are so entertaining compared to the other shows. Unless Swagu is on First Take then its a toss up!
The best thing about Nick is that he knows exactly what he’s doing, and does it anyway. I applaud the fact that he talks a big game, but always holds himself accountable when he’s wrong. FTF made me love sports talk shows again!
That’s the thing, when it comes to the Chiefs he doesn’t always hold himself accountable. Last year around this time of the season, Nick had Anointed Mahomes the greatest QB ever and proclaimed the Chiefs were gonna walk to another Super Bowl win after beating the Bills the way they did. Then the Bengals beat the Chiefs and Nick kinda sat around and sulked for a while. Go look up the videos.
Once cincys contracts come up they'll have to change the stadium to paymore instead of paycor

Since when is being creative or having fun disrespectful? They didn't stomp on the Raider's logo. The game will once again be won or loss by the coaching and half time adjustments or lack there of. If KC, at home in an AFC championship game, only scores 3 points in 2.5 quarters plus overtime, after going up 21-3 midway through the 2nd quarter, that will signify once again a lack of halftime adjustments. And reveal the team that was best prepared and determined to prove they wanted the victory most.

Bur he's over-emotional, not analytical and completely narrative driven.
But when you look back at what he’s said about the NFL as a whole, he’s been pretty accurate. Most recent example: he was really high on Cincy last week when the vast majority of people were pushing the Bills narrative (i.e. “Bills are have incredible home record”, “Buffalo is a team of destiny”, “Bengals are missing 3 o-lineman”, “Allen is the far superior QB”, etc). He has a pretty good feel for the NFL in general

Nick is always nervous. He should be. The Chiefs are clearly the better team with the better QB and Coach. They just always let their foot off the gas. Not just to the Bengals but many times. And really their losses to the Bengals have really been just who had the ball last at the end of the game. More luck against the Chiefs then anything.

@@bentientcheu1853 Pat Mahomes comes from my Hometown, and seeing Burrow treat walloping OU 63-28 back in the LSU super run like it was the most natural thing in the world got me interested in his career in the NFL. Turns out both have gone pretty well.

@@KingEdwardMMVIII been a big fan since he took over a small time AM radio show in KC and quickly turned it into the biggest show in the city by a mile - AM or FM. That was the best sports talk show I've ever seen or heard. Now that he's getting more and more creative control of this show, it's starting to feel a lot more like that show.
