Slotted screws are the worst - This time we were lucky! - 1949 Dodge P18 Engine

This shows how I remove the slotted screw from the front engine plate on a 1949 Dodge P18 straight 6 Cylinder 218 CI engine.
Slotted screws are not used very often any more. This time we were lucky and it hammer screwed right out.

its called an impact driver, we all had them back in the day in our tool boxes. not to be confused with an impact wrench, which you now find in everyones tool boxes as well.
