Bought one last week. Tried many pellets and slugs. Only 22 cal JSB 25.39’s grouped with any consistency. Tried 4 different moderators as well, which dramatically changed my POI. This rifle has me mystified??? Mind u I own 15 different PCP’s. so, I know it’s not me. I’ll be trying again with the shroud off. I suspect the tension might come into play here. We shall see. Update-6/11/23. I went to a Donny FL moderator (FX model) and everything tightened up. Problem solved, this rifle is moderator sensitive.
The sad part is in pre testing I tried a host of different pellets and Slugs could not get anything to group at 85 yards not even the jsb 18.13 gn that's why I moved to the 50 yard spot the 18.13 JSB was the only one to group Got the Hatsan Factor on its way next lets hope that shoots alot better
Tried jsb zan Patriot nothing worked tried a whole range of pellet weights from 14 gn to 25gn only 18.13 gn would group at 50 yards at 85 yards even the 18.13 gn looked like a large Shotgun group
@@AfricanAirOrdnance damn that’s annoying these guns are supposed to like slugs all the reviews I’ve seen they like slugs maybe just try FX hybrids and lastly NSA slugs
Well sir,it seems that you have answered my question unintentionally. Hatsan sells crap air rifles everywhere. Was thinking it was only in America. Thank you
Take my word sir, they have a lot of bad barrels, and everything else. I have 2 flash qe. 22 and 25 caliber. Bad orings on both. They've never heard of lubrication while putting the rifle together. Bad orings on a jet 2 also. Barrel was off to the left. Finally decided to just stop buying Hatsan products.
Try taking off that "shroud" and thread the moderator directly onto the barrel. This piece that holds the shroud pipe in place totally messed up the accuracy in mine. Also the shroud wasn't machined well and was putting unwanted tension on the barrel.
@@AfricanAirOrdnance I also didn't have the feeling of clipping but the rounds were all over the place. Without the piece the gun was grouping well on 30m with hn 21 gr hp. Please let us know if there is improvement.
I have this exact issue with this exact rifle. Originally I could wack starlings at 100 yards but I removed the shroud to clean it and now I can’t hit the broadside of a barn if I was standing in the barn, very angering when I get better groupings out of a 110 dollar gamo break barrel.
I've never seen such variation between shots. That's horrible and strange for Hatsan. There could be something wrong with that barrel and I'd write to Hatsan and let them know (show them the video) how your test performed. Who would even consider a rifle that shoots all over the place like that?
It is quite shocking but maybe its just one bad barrel in a batch I have a Hatsan Nova Star in 5.5mm arriving for the next video hopefully it will shoot a lot better time will tell
@@AfricanAirOrdnance So another rifle, exact same model and same cal? I'm just wondering if you've had a good look at the muzzle crown. I'm very interested in your findings as the grouping on this test is absolutely shocking. To me, it appears you have a small burr on the crown and that would certainly effect a slug and much less a pellet due to the slug length and contact with that small burr.
worst craftsmanship from a turkish company. had the kral pcp, and a shotgun from turkey both failed, extremely bad reliability. you are better off buying any chinese brand pcp.

Had one.
Sold it.
Sold all my Hatsans
Did you have accuracy issues or something else
Give some videos of airmaks arms, krait x version. I am waiting for you.
Wonder what magic does AEAC do to this where it shot both pellets & slugs amazingly.
I know for sure you are honest.

I was looking at buying one of these, will you be retesting with a new rifle i've seen other videos where people have had good accuracy, many thanks
I have the Factor Qe arriving see if that is any better
I think you should try 25.39 knockouts in .216 and .217 and then the 25.39 redesigned

I'm in South Africa 🇿🇦 But I have the Facter QE arriving next week maybe it's I just got the one bad barrel of the batch

@@chevyimpala_04 it's a pity they don't pay more attention to quality
Shooting without volume attenuator because I got the same problem

It's definitely not clipping but I'll try that

@@MrIbanezRGfan will do
It could also be the suppressor. Try some other. It didn't like the Weihrauch silencer but with the one from Walther it grouped well

Polish the barrel before changing the barrel, might solve the issue.
You can't polish out sloppiness in a barrel sad to say
@@AfricanAirOrdnance physically moving and not locked down? Garbage, move on
Sorry i stop this because the irritating red and yellow line don,t do that anymore plaese
The rotating color border is very annoying. Sorry but I couldn't watch beyond half way.
Just having a little fun with our editing software

whats with the terrible light show ?

I feel your disappointment.
Keep trying different size slugs. Its a picky gun.
Oh it's not a slug size issue. It's poor quality barrel issue
