      @@bigearl8687 no the gun is awesome that is why I'm gonna buy another .22 its just not necessary to have a regulator with it. It almost performs as tho it has one! I really believe that "the whole the gun must have a regulator" thing is over sensationalized not knocking at all what they do and the performance you can achieve with one in certain airguns its just not meant in every platform. And for every scenario. This like I believe every Hatsan airgun are purpose meant they are "hunting" airguns not necessarily blinking or target guns. That is the reason most of them are so powerful think about their break barrel line the most powerful break barrels on the market hands down! The 135 .30cal is not meant for plinking! Neither is the .25 cal 125 vortex sniper! (Both I have). Ok, now I have two Hatsan flashpups and in both I had to install regulators to tame them just to get some normal consistent shots, but before I did the 22 was launching 15 & 18 gr pellets well over 1000fps! Had to put a leash on them dogs! Now they act like Halle Berry's dogs in Jon Wick movie.

      @@Rodan1975 ok I see what your saying, they are powerful, I have a 125 sniper vortex 25, it's not shooting. I think the breech seal is broken, I had it 5 years..1 accurate gun....Halle dog in john Wick movie lol...then your gun is calm down alot

    Fun to shoot all day. I have the Hatsan Neutronstar 25 caliber and it's amazing. No joke. I use the Nomad 2 compressor and I can shoot 1,000 pellets in a day with only 30 minutes total of fill up time. I do clean my setup after each 1k shots. Very clean and powerful air rifle. Can't go wrong with this setup.

    Thanks Rick, I purchased a Neutron Star and love it! This thing shoots lights out, with the suggested 25.39 JSB's . It shoots 1/2 in. 10 shot groups at 50 yards and have shot one hole 3 shot groups at 50 and get 40 to 50 dead on shots @ 50yrds.Thanks again for the review, oh P.S. I did put a DonnyFL Tanto on it, now it is backyard friendly.

    Back yard friendly 🤔 I don't think so, I shot a sub 12 version and it was as loud as feck, the shroud is cosmetic only, no baffles, its a long gun and the real need for a silencer makes it rediculously long. If it was quite I would have bought it there and then no doubt 👍🏻

  • @Rodan1975
    @Rodan1975 Před 4 lety +7

    This gun is loud! That shroud is just a hollow "shell" NO baffles, or muzzle brake so its just for looks. You MUST use moderator for backyard use. NO it is not regulated this gun is the NOVA Star same specs. I stacked hole on hole with 33gr and 25gr JSBs. Used NSA sampler pack and across all slugs included no more than 1“ groupings tightests being .25" all at 55yds. This gun is great for the price! I will be purchasing another in .22 to try to attempt regulator install. Oh it absolutely loves Hades & Polymags and makes love with the H&N "Green" no lead Barracuda's! Had those H&N greens doing 1018 fps!

      @@bigearl8687 no no problems it does require oiling of the walnut stock tho, got a little wet early on and it ruined the new look so I determined that it needed like a sealer its fine now actually better. This gun to me is poor man FX Crown! Idk what Hatsan is doing but it doesn't need reg. I may try it later on but I already upgrade my tank to a 580cc CF tank so I'm Beast Mode already!

      @@bigearl8687 seriously tho it is loud Hatsan has the QE series for a reason! And this ain't got it. In the future, I imagine they will put one out like all the others, but right now, nope there's a threaded muzzle for a purpose. I've found you can't really take what Rick says as an honest review. Just watch his videos to see the gun because generally what he says is absolutely BS he's just a "commercial" I call him the "Sham-WoW" guy of airgun reviews. All fluff, no facts. Rather see the others in his team at least they are a tiny bit more informative. Oh, and the pic mount on the forearm sucks ass! Had to change mine its smaller than normal and others who have the gun I know say the same about theirs.

      @@henrymoreland8719 nope, I was taught to stand up for truth. Don't hide from lies and misinformation. Because if you do, you become the sheep and part of the problem. How many would have bought the gun thinking it was suited for urban backyard setting? Not having any additional money to buy a moderator or knowing how to even make a diy one. See someone could end up with possible legal issues and avoidable complaints. Let's not go into his generalized statement for its performance. Which I and others I know that have it know that it is better than he describes with some technical flaws that need to be addressed by the maker or be aware of by the consumer. It's all constructive criticism anyway because I do appreciate him and his channel very much. You don't know how I tire of the FX nuts! And I have that FX Impact money pit also.

Not a automatic "Stay tuned in, ones coming up" or even a lie like "my pinky finger is broke and my shooting performance is subpar right now." Nope just "Cha Ching! $$$$$" 🤑🤑🤑🤑. You know what happened to fair and honest review? I guess when the FX bums don't pick you also to whore out you become your own "pimp" and stand in front of Kmart.

    Hello Rick I have the neutron and I was wondering if you had experience with tuning the hammer and if the adjustment stays at the setting and how is yours holding up. I had an interesting situation involving the air bottle I could not remove mine and even Hatsan Usa could not remove it and they ended up sending me a whole new air bottle and air bottle connector.
