Here's a really in-depth review of the bike czcams.com/video/tR2Yr-HNLKw/video.html
and in that video you posted you can see what the lights (cornering lights) do and how they work as you lean.
specifically here czcams.com/video/tR2Yr-HNLKw/video.html
Chris is an awsome guy with so much knowledge. I'd love to have him among my riding buddies !
Can you explain what that thing on the windscreen was? Was it an aftermarket camera or radar or something? It looked good. But I dont know what it is.
The Japanese tend to be fantastic at whatever they do whether it's martial arts, engineering, architecture, philosophy etc. They really do make works of art, I am a fan of their samurai swords as well, they are so beautiful not to mention extremely effective.
The supercharger noises would get really addictive really quickly. The big lights on the front are cornering lights. They light up more and more as you lean the bike over.
people not on the the bike can hear the chirp, I've only heard it a few times.
The only sad thing about the supercharge noises is that the rest of the bike is very silent because of silencer in both the catalytic converter and the end can. If you change for a slip-on the supercharger sound is harder to hear, and if you are changing for a full exhaust system, deleting the catalytic converter, the supercharger "whistle" is almost non existent =(
@@mathias6423 You can still hear it very well at higher rpm :) I love the sound never gets old
One year later, still hasn’t gotten old
@@steelfoe I long for the day I can buy this bike, It will never get old dude, this bike is a keeper. It can do everything well. The feeling I get when I tried this bike, I feel like a king riding it around :)
I just bought the h2 sx. Have it for two months now and I am really getting to know the bike now. It is such a smooth yet incredibly powerful machine. I liked your statement of one bike on top of another one. That is exactly what I feel too. Above 6k rpm there is a new layer of power to enjoy. I absolutely love it. Even with my 6ft4 it's not a problem
Rob, same size as you. Did you have to change footpegs or windscreen?
@@stevef5490 nope, I changed nothing and I don't need to either so far. Do you have the same bike?
Just got my 2023 h2 its fking amazing adrenaline is amazing to yerrrrrr😂
@@interrogationfiles enjoy man, and respect the beast 😎👍💪
why such a powerful thing has just one exhaust?
I have the same feeling. I don't know how they do it, but just Kawasaki knows how to build a bike, so that you love it (Happy ZX14R owner).
@@MotoGearSolid not to me. I find only BMW motorcycles particularily ugly.
I bought the Ninja 1000sx a few weeks ago, and I'm loving it. I moved back to a liter bike from a Harley Dyna.
I've had mine since 2018 and it never ceases to put a smile on my face. Plus I can pick up some groceries on it. Not really a fan of the new front/rear ends on the new models with the adaptive cruice control pods tho. A quick ECU flash will easily unlock another ~50 hp on these things without even breaking a sweat.
Like you need more HP on this beast of a bike. Even if you take it on a track I doubt youre maxing it out unless youre a really good rider
I know what you mean brother...same same. I've had mine since new (2018) and at this point, it's a keeper
I agree with you on this one , had mine since 2020 , it is a keeper
Cornering lights. Depending on how much you lean determines how many of them turn on
I bought one in 2019 after having Busa’s for many years. The H2 is a far superior motorcycle in every way… I’ve just had mine remapped now the warranty is out, she’s pushing out 222bhp now… insane for a sport touring motorcycle👌🏽
¿Top speed with 222bhp?
@@DancingtheDream85 Part of the remap includes removing all restrictions, including speed restrictions, 189mph on the dyno and still climbing until the rev limiter cut in, so at a guess 190+…
Wow!😎
@@glencross4461 I know, madness isn’t it, but still silky smooth and rideable. In fact I’ve just done a two week tour of France and Italy two up and she was an absolute peach👌🏽
@@DancingtheDream85Not a clue my friend, the speed limiter was removed when the remap was done and 189 was showing on the dyno at the time… So who knows!
The camera in the windscreen is for the auto hi beam. It will turn high beam on and off with on coming traffic. As others have said the lights on the side are your cornering lights. The more you lean the more light you get for the corner.
This bike did throw the mighty BMW Tourers from the throne for me too. There is just something about it that instantly clicked with me. The seating position, how the wind is designed around you, how mechanically perfect it is.. It's the whole package for me. I would even recommend it to people who do not look for its power, the bike is just super maneuverable even for riders who are not super experienced with high poweder bikes. You can see this as a nice sedan instead of an SUV with all its advantages due to the layout alone. I love mine.
Those are the cornering lights depends on how far you lean to which light comes on it's 10%,20%,30% lean angle I love them really helps to see at night in the corners 😁
And the sensor on the front below the windshield is the auto highbeam sensor. The adaptive radar is below the headlight.
@@JCintheBCC the 2022 model H2 SX SE that I got doesn't have the auto high beams. They just started the auto high beams with the 2023 model👍 it's a really cool add-on for the new bikes 😁
That bike is awesome. Love watching your reviews. This lights are the turning lights. They turn on on the side that is leaned over so that it lights up the road more to see around the corner. I hope that makes sense. I hope you do a review of the Moto Guzzi Mandelo or V85TT soon. Maybe you have and i missed it...hahaha. Anyway, all your vids are good, and you've really encouraged me to practice more. Especially my slow speed stuff.
I have those lights on my 2019 Versys 1000.. They are cornering lights.. as you lean they come on to light the corner.. VERY handy at night.
I think they are cornering lights that automatically turns on when the bike make sharp corners
You are correct
Your title on video is wrong. Hayabusa can never be killed...it can only be chased after.
This is the legend of Tokyo - the designer riding a Hayabusa and a ninja sent out to get him on a Kawasaki ZX14R are still chasing each other on the metropolitan highways of Tokyo...and they went faster than the light speed and time dilated back to the 90s...they are stuck in the time loop, and if you still have Moto Startac, you can sometimes can hear their buzzing by. They are expected to come out of the time loop sometime in 2049...its a truly legendary bike.
Kids nowadays
My 650 kills hayabusas

Your enthusiasm is really infectious! Happy days 👌💚did you guys get the ZZR 1400? That was epic. Kawa such an underrated manufacturer. Quality built as good as anything.
He rewied the ZX-14

One more thing. I love the little laugh everyone does when they ride this bike. 4 years later and i still have that little giggle when i open her up.
Even as someone who rides electric, the H2 SX is also my favorite bike! I sat on one and geez it's huge! Personally I wouldn't ride one (I am just a commuter after all) but man. I'd love to ride on it as a passenger. The engine sound doesn't sound "annoying" to me either! I think it's also the bike which holds that 400km/h world record.
The bike that holds the record is the H2R, which i think uses the same engine but diffirent gearing and i think the h2r is unlocked while this one isnt. Still massive power tho
This with a vandemon exhaust system is one of the best sounds I've ever had the joy of hearing. This bike will pretty much steal the joy of any other bike you have, very hard to match.
Yeah I can't wait to get the vandemon exhaust on my 2022 H2 SX SE and I'm going to have Chris Moore flash and Dyno tune mine "Moore mafia"😁👍💪
Also going to add the extreme creations blow off valve I bet yours would really sound good with a blow off valve on top of your exhaust. If you have a CZcams channel send me the name and I will check it out 👍👍✌️
It is an INCREDIBLE bike! I owned the 2018 with luggage and lowered the pegs a bit for longer rides and a few other performance mods.... a flash by Vcyclenut made it even better!, etc. Went from NC to South Dakota and Wyoming in 2020 during the lockdowns and it was fantastic on the highways. Nothing touched it. I thought my sport bike days were over and I got rid of it in 2021, but have regretted it ever since. Now I am on a 2022 Ducati SV4S and having a great time with that. My long distance days are past but my addiction to speed and power is still as strong as ever! Be safe!!
I agree, I love my 2018 H2 SX SE, but lower pegs would be nice for the longer rides. How did you lower yours?
Ich have the 2022 Version of it.
The big lights on the side of the bikes are curve lights so they light up in 3 modes when you make turns.
The more you lean the more they light up.
I have now arround 6000km and I totally love this bike ❤
“it’s like ice cream, or cocaine, whatever.”
Well I’m sold
I wanted this one, but settled for the 1K sx which is still fantastic.
Those lights are cornering lights, the more you lean, more lights will light up :) That sensor below the windshield is for the auto high beam feature. I own a 2022 model and I LOVE it :)
I have the 2022 H2 SX SE and I love it 👍👍
Flash it yesterday! I woke up my '20 ZH2 a lot.
Got mine 1st of this month, so 2 weeks in. Got the Performance Tourer. It's Amazing, Loving everything about it so far. Not broken in yet but still working it. @Motojitsu - The lights you were wondering about are the cornering lights that could come on automatically with intensity dependent on your lean angle. Looking forward to a great time /relationship with this 'beauty and the beast'. 😀
I demo'd the SX SE a few weeks back, I was very impressed with it. The UK weather wasn't on our side but you could still feel the capabilities on the bike. amazing!
Just bought a used 2022 with only 315 miles on it. Its a excellent bike.
Just brought a 2018 H2 SX love it.
Finally, I told you about this bike years ago, knew you would love it.......I own this bike............
Great review. Love this bike, want this bike !
Great review. That bike sounds awesome! Thanks
I used to own a 84 turbo 750 and the whine is addictive.
Love my 22' - That black device on the windshield is the new fer 23' Auto High Beam addition-
If anyone has any doubts, buy the the bike. It’s an engineering marvel. I love mine and it unlike anything you’ve ever ridden before.
That is a awesome bike awesome review I want to go buy 1 now !!! Thanks!! Lol!
the start up sound...I love 4 cylinders but I'm on two so many years with ADV bikes.
7:23 bless you (sneeze..) - such a beautiful ride!
The H2 Ninja is my dream bike, if I can ever afford one.
Nice review keep up the good work MotoJitsu
I also have a 2003 busa and my H2 SX SE will out run it at top speed. I'm fixing to have my H2 flashed and tuned and it will be pushing about 230 HP
This is my dream sport bike ❤😍 And that beautiful Hulk green! ❤
Why would you want to not lean at all as a taller person ? I am 6'6 and sitting upright like on the S1000XR was horrible, worse than a naked bike with that windscreen buffeting on the helmet, It was torture, not touring 😛 An aggressive but still comfortable forward lean like on the H2SX is what you really want as a tall person.
Wait until you try this bike with the full exhaust system and ecu flash (around 240hp on the rear wheel) The radar for adaptive cruise control is below the headlight, the lights at the side that looks like turn signals are lean sensitive lights that light up when leaning in curves in 3 stages, like 20,30 and 40 degrees (You should try these at night, really cool effect).
If you remove the centre stand and put a full system on this bike you can actually remove like 35-45 lbs (20kg less weight will make it close to a Ninja 1000SX), combined with better tires like the Pirelli Angel GT 2 you can make it handle even better =)
Ps. Yeah Yamaha def have the worst breaks of any brand on their sportbikes, it is not something they have to learn from kawasaki or something they need for figure out, it is just a thing they always try to save money on.
They could just put the Brembo M40s on their new sport bikes like the MT-10, would not even have to be the Brembo M50 or Stylema just the old M40 cal that the old Speed triple S or Ducati Supersport 939 had would make a huge difference and they are not that expensive brakes.
I think it is the least you could ask from Yamaha now that the prices on their MT-10 among other bikes went up a lot.
The gear ratios blow me away compared to my little r3 lol 😂. Chilling in third at 70. I’d be wide open in 6th!
Haha, same here with my Ninja 300.
Both are still very fun bikes to ride. Good bikes to learn to stunt ride on or just learn to wheelie. Like the old heads says it’s more fun to ride a slow bike fast then to ride a fast bike slow!
These are actually shorter than real 1000cc supersports. Most 1000s do 90-110 in first gear.
I have owned all of the h2s and if you like it now the bike is insanely neutered factory the 22-23 dont have a tune yet (any day now) but the 18-21 mine dynoed 220 wheel on a 100 degree day. You should find a tuned sx! The tuned zh2 is an insane animal as well. From factory they are just so neutered mine dynoed less than my 08 hayabusa but once the tune was done it was a monster.
My 2022 ZH2 just got an ECU flash from Moore Mafia.
Note: the ZH2 and H2 SX went from 36 mm throttle bodies to 40 mm in 2021.
That caused me to upgrade from a 2020 ZH2 to a 2022 ZH 2 SE a couple of months ago.
I have one of these and they are amazing!!!!!
I do love my BMW K1300S 2009 but I feel this motorcycle would be great upgrade ! Awesome looking bike.
Sounds sooooooo smooth. Kinda reminds me of my homies bmw bike i love the sound of the new bmws
I caught up to this on my race to work.I was on my Honda 954. He had dropped three gears and waitet until I was side to side with him …and then he rocketed out of view.

Great review, it's curv lights
Fantastic review thanks for sharing

1981 Suzuki GS850G and Ninja zx9r rider
Those big lights are for cornering.
Great review, to the point and great to hear how your experience with other bikes compares with this to give a thorough perspective! I also own this bike and I noticed you didn’t take it much beyond 7k, that is when the supercharger comes on full and it accelerates harder than my ZX10R. Let’s put it this way, a 911 turbo s 650 on the road this just cruised past it on full boost! 😂 definitely a great all round machine
Because it’s a brand new bike
Pretty sure you engage the cornering lights with the engine either running or key on in the main vehicle settings menu. You won't need to keep resetting those after the initial setup.
This one is so restricted from the factory, once all potential is open by flash it is monster machine :)
PS these lights are cornering lights
Would love to ride this bike, seems like a keeper. I bought the Suzuki B-King years back when they came out and still have it, added a windscreen for highway speeds which made a huge difference. Have you driven one? It’s one of those bikes you either love or hate. I know, it’s ugly because mainly the huge bulky exhaust (I replaced mine with some yosha) but once you get pass that the bike’s performance is incredible, loads of power and very nimble. They are getting harder to find nowadays but I’m thinking of selling along with a couple of my other bikes.
Nice video. One of my draw backs about BMW, finding a service center is hard especially if you own but one from a dealer out of state. Never have a problem when I have to have my Suzuki or Honda serviced. I’m on my 8th BMW now and it’s just a pain. I stay away from the in-line motors they make, had too many problems, I stick with the boxers.
LOVE THIS BIKE! Wish it came in a DCT! That would make it PERFECT for me…Ride safe!
Top dog , radar and camera work in conjunction with each other for the rides assist tech .
I would still rate Busa for looks, maybe I am old school but not yet sold on these modern square box designs. But love the tech on H2.
(PS: Beauty is subjective)
I only imagine what the book calls for in a valve adjustment as far as time and intervals......few dealers are competent enough to do them and even though ive always done my own bucket n shims, this bike is more intimidating
Another one of those scary bikes, but the bodywork and the general finishing is great.
I miss my NINJA 1000 SX. Loved it.
Love the reviews... I was thinking that if you rode past a glass store front we could see the riding position. 🤔
Slightly leaned forward, knees bent quite a bit but not uncomfortably
The supercharger sounded a little funny at 7:23
too. There is just something about it that instantly no one can predict it clicked with me. The seating position
An all rounder monster ❤
so if im going right and i push my right handlebar and then i realize i need more lean angle but im already leaned, how do i do that ? should i push right handlebar more ?
The only thing missing off of that rocket is a parachute to help you slow down.😄
Modern literbikes are busa killers. Lol. I just had this talk on an instagram post yesterday. The busa is not the behemoth it once was. All that displacement is great, but Suzuki really skated by with it, because of its reputation as being the fastest. It hasn’t been in a long time, but people still talk about it like it’s the fastest thing on the planet. Suzuki really dropped the ball on the third gen. They had the ability to do something amazing with it.
Damn dude what a bike looks amazing
You do the best real world reviews.
Thing on the windscreen is for the automatic high beams
Hi Greg! Those are lights for the curve. And the little sensor above the headlight is for the warning when someone gets hard on the brakes right in front of you; the dash will flash red when it engages. What an awsome bike the Kawasaki Heavy Industries have made!!! Can you imagine the price??? That´s also WOW!
I believe they are lean angle sensitive to illuminate at more of an angle as lean angel increases?
@@tylerharrington4515 exactly Tyler!
That sensor on the windshield is for auto hi beam. When you have an oncoming car it dims the headlight so as to not blind the driver in the oncoming lane. The radar in the front below the headlight handles the collision warning.
To simplify.. the further you lean, the brighter the lights get
Is the quickshifter as buttery-smooth as it is on the Hayabusa? I've read that the qs on the Kawasakis can be clunky (on the upshifts)
Is it a straight swap for '98 Honda VFR 800?
the big lights are cornering lights.. Id be interested to find out if they can be activated manually though
I really like it even though I'm not a fan of the green tft display, having said that it's nearly 10 grand more than a hayabusa so no room for comparison there. Totally different.
Love your channel, I’m an avid rider and get lots of good advice from you. My previous bike was a 2020 Yamaha MT 10. I’m considering the 2023 Yamaha MT 10 SP. But this bike also popped up on my radar. How do you feel that this bike compares to the MT 10 SP in power ? With this bike smoke the MT 10 in a drag race ? Or top speed Thanks
Track days are allot more fun once you learn to corner well, where the Gs give a thrill. Your bike already has that capacity.
And I love the tall wind screen
Dream bike material right here.
These are cornering lights, they lit when you lean
They are the cornering lights i belive the massive ones on the side.
Hi, how about the heat from engine? i see some complain that's hot air blow out to the rider is too obvious compared others.
I owned the original H2 - 3 cylinder 2 stroke. Knickname “Widow Maker”. This is like 1975. Remember.. 2 am, sitting at a red light with 2 left hand turn lanes. Norton 850 Commando pulls up next to me blipping the throttle. I actually ignored him. I didn’t engage in street races … but.. he took off on green. I let him go. Looked around. Deserted street. Made the turn. Straightened out (the 1st H2just couldn’t corner) and opened the throttle. Slight delay with that 2 stroke.. then bye bye. 😊
I am interested in one but can’t find a dealer to let me test ride. I want the front and rear radar censors. So it looks like the Tiger GT will get my cash. Too bad I was leaning towards the H2. Good video.
I promise you if you get the H2 SX SE you will not regret it it has the front and rear radar sensor's and all kinds of other tech
They are cornering lights that light up during the bend.
In Germany this machine costs approx. 10k more than a hayabusa or mt10, I would consider this a "negative" omitted.
Are the excellent brakes on the bikes you test, always Brembo's?
Riding a boosted motorcycle is honestly life changing for a motorcyclist IMO. If you can, try to get your hands on a turbo Hayabusa and see how you like that. Similar but different, the turbo powerband is linear and amazing.
Love my turbo busa test rode a h2 sx se and that's definitely the next purchase for a calm daily
The lights on the side are cornering lights .
So owning the s1000xr, love it. Great comfy position. 2021, but meh on reliability.
Kawi needs to make this more upright and I'm back to kawi!
nice!

Purchasing this bike as soon as I arrive at Japan by this December
Prob gonna take 3 ~ 4 months to arrive after the purchase I guess
You sponsored by Kawa now? I got a 93 KDX 200 thats pretty fun
yea, nice, but very heavy and also ALWAYS GREEN !!
If not able to show us your seating angle with a second camera, can you please shows us your reflection in the dealer’s window as you drive out of the dealership. Just a suggestion. Thanks😊
You should try a triumph t120 or some similar style of bikes
What a machine!
Hey! I was wondering if I can get some advice? I currently have a ninja 650 it’s technically my first bike and I’m not really finding any videos on a good upgrade from it. I’m just curious if I should jump up to the 636/cbr 600rr/ or the gxr 600? Everyone that I’m talking too is telling me to just jump up to the gxr 1000 or the r1 so I’m kinda stuck on what to upgrade too 😕
From a ninja 650 I upgraded to a 1000sx and then a ninja h2 sx se. My advice is go for a SX or GSXR sport touring bike next. These high performance 600s only make peak power right at the top of the rev band so they are not that quick in real world driving. Ninja 1000sx is a perfect upgrade from a ninja 650, trust me
Those lights are cornering lights, they come on when you lean over to light up the corner.
