''Ok here's the deal, if you have 10$ burning in yo pocket and you always wanted to drive into a tree...... Ya sure why not?!'' HAHAHA you made my day Robert!
California is truly one of the most beautifulest state in the Union.
impressive, I cried that there was only squoa parc.
America is a continent, it is not a country, it is an open-air museum.
each state has its own charm and beauty.
long live America.
Nothing better than seeing TR visit places we just visited! Glad you enjoyed the Samoa Cookhouse. I guess it would be a little weird eating by yourself, but 13.95 for all you can eat is very good and when we were there everyone was friendly and talkative. Another good one, Robert. Thanks!
Gooooood morning Robert! Thank you for the new video. That area is so unique. Have a great day. Remember that we keep you and your family in our prayers. Fly pelican, fly! 🌴👍😎
Hello Traveling Robert! Such a beautiful drive amongst the majestic Redwoods. Northern California is so beautiful. I must say this though, the Oregon coast may be even more spectacular. You will see spectacular places such as the Oregon Dunes, the Sea Lion Caves, and the absolutely spectacular area called Cape Perpetua! We will be stopping a lot along Oregon's coastline. I really enjoyed the video. Looking forward to the next video series featuring Oregon! Oh and btw, if you can, take a detour from Cannon Beach and head east through Portland and into the Columbia River Gorge Region to check out the absolutely beautiful Multnomah Falls.
Such a beautiful country we live in USA 🇺🇸
Best place in the world by far! 🇺🇸😍
YES!!! We are blessed to live in the US!!
With the best President 🇺🇸
all countries are beautiful, just not all parts of the world are safe. But yes, America rocks! Being able to RV around is a great thing
Yes Robert,
The bark of the redwoods are fire resistant and help the trees fight diseases and bugs .
Amazing and awe inspiring video! Loved the towering and old redwood trees and forests. This episode of the 2919 series is marvelous, thanks for letting me tag along!
If you ever do this trip again, I highly recommend going from the North to the South.
LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH!!! Out of all the places we visited in our RV days, this is one of our faves!! Blessings from a Husband/Wife Music and Farming Duo!! ✌️💚🙌
I'm watching double the show...never looking back...
I will have to visit the Redwoods when things go back to normal. Thank you Robert.
So many good memories here.
I've been waiting for this episode for so long! Amazing work as always Robert
I'm just starting this video, and I'm going to enjoy my little adventure here with you this Sunday morning, and I love looking at giant trees...you make things fun and interesting!
thank you Robert, i follow you to travel in your film.
That song sticks with me,can’t get rid of it.
If you're in Loleta again stay at the Humboldt county fairgrounds (there is a fee) and then you are near Ferndale for the evening which has great victorian architecture, bars, restaurants, and usually you can find live music. In arcata, the oriental buffet is great, and right off 101. Trinidad is fun to explore, and just north of there is Patrick's Point, which is one of my all time favorite campgrounds, but can be hard to get into. We used to make fake giant footprints in random areas along rivers, etc. Lol. It was the 70s at the height of the Bigfoot craze.
Beautiful scenery.
Thank you so much Robert.
Just found out I can watch episodes early from the newsletter, I'm so excited!!
Another amazing episode. Of all the channels I am subscribed to, only yours do I watch from start to finish and never get bored. I'm more of an SUV RVer, I never considered casinos to stay in. So much inspiration, thank you!
Another quality video from you Robert and now I will have to add some more to my traveling list of places to go.😎
Ha. Like I mentioned on the last video, the redwoods snuck up on my Mom and I as well. Ended up being our favorite part.
love those trees, great sunset
We enjoyed this video very much! Loved your tour through the majestic Redwoods. No better way to start a Sunday than watching your adventures😊 Thanks Robert!
we have reservations in Santa Cruz Redwood RV park campground in May... Can't wait. I love the Redwoods...... so full of energy. Beautiful
Thank you Robert , you take me places I just can’t go to as I am in wheelchair . And the redwoods was on my bucket list . I am a Woman with a bucket list that’s not real long but too many places I can’t go now , waited to long I guess . I do so enjoy watching your videos . Thank you so much 😊
We went on our first trip in our trailer to Idaho, Oregon to the redwoods, Reno then back home.
We saw Paul and his side kick too! 😊
Crescent City was pretty cool. Enjoying the trip! Thanks for the video. Bill
I really enjoy your videos. You make traveling thru this country so doable! Thank you!
Magnificent. And that sunset at the end was a beautiful way to end the day. ❤
let's start the day with love ... traveling robert for sure!

Holaaa!! No me canso de viajar! Maravilloso!! Gracias Robert!!❤
Beautiful Robert! ♥️♥️
Really great episode. cannot
tell you how much I sincerely appreciate the fine work you put into each and every video
Spectacular views of coast and redwoods Robert great vlog
Thank you sir ! 😊
Really nice travelogue with those beautiful redwoods. Hope they last for thousands of years. You may remember the story of The Senator - the oldest bald cypress tree growing in Florida's Seminole County that was burned down by a meth-head while cooking meth. We don't want to see a repeat of that insane nonsense going on anywhere else.
The thing about the northern CA coast, it’s always very moist and foggy year round which is the type of temperate rainforest climate that coastal redwood need. The drury scenic drive is much more pristine than the avenue of the giants. The trees that fall that support the growth of a new tree is called a nurse log. Redwoods are famous for that in addition to cloning themselves. If I could recommend a redwood trail, trillium falls hike, and nearby fern canyon that has no redwoods but is stunning. And the nearby beach and meadows are full of elk. But for fern canyon you have to leave behind the trailer. You need a high clearance vehicle to get to it or walk VERY far. But that area around Elk meadow is incredible. There is a day use fee for fern canyon but not trillium falls redwood trail
Someday I hope to travel there & see the beautiful redwoods. Awesome video, great work thank you Robert. Have a blessed day! 🙂👍
Thanks Robert.
Thanks for another fun trip, Robert. I'm glad you appreciated the magic of the redwood forest, with the ferns and fallen trees. I expect to see a leprechaun peeking around a tree. I live in Santa Rosa, and have travelled those roads up to Eureka and back. I drove my '53 Packard, instead of a trailer like you did. I also enjoyed the Cheese Factory in Loleta. Keep on travelling.
Hope you had a good 4th...Went to seaside, ore for three night.Big fireworks show...Keep traveling and making awesome relaxing vids...
Thank you Robert!!
The whole Pacific Coast would be great to see on 2 wheels👊😎👊
Im ridin', ridin' on my Harley, wherever i want to be, because im free, on my Harley, yeah....
Another great vid with great camera work. The prehistoric feel with all the ferns reminds me of the bottom of some of the gorges here in TN along the Cumberland plateau, minus the giant redwoods of course.
Amazing!!!!!
Beautiful photography. To be clear, Northern CA redwoods are known for their height and the ones known for their diameter are in Sequoia National Park in central CA. All of them gorgeous.
So cool !! 👏🏼
Loved the drone shot of the fog and the tree. I’m pretty sure I saw the Lockness Monster in Freshwater Lagoon LOL. The Giant Redwoods and Big Tree were amazing! Are you allowed to hike down from the Ski Trail?
Thank you for being so kind to speak to us at the Tampa RV Show, you really are a movie star!
Wayne and Carrie
Thanks again Robert for another awesome & outstanding video. For those of us that will never get to see places such as this...we can see it through the eyes of Traveling Robert! Looking forward to the Alaska trip this summer! How about this for an idea for a podcast series...The Islands of Florida! Close to home & yet so many places to explore. Thanks again Robert... you're the best!!!
I drove through the redwood in a Mazda 6 in 2008. My favorite trip. Loved this video! Your videos keep getting better and better.
I did it too 😁
your photography and storytelling is wonderful. Thank you. You've showed me places where I live I haven't been to before.
Thank you!
Beautiful trees👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 and the sunset just Awesome 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🙏🏽
Always keeping it real... Thank you.
This was an amazing video! I would love to visit the California Redwoods! Ohh and Sky Trail, wow!
You missed Ferndale! Lovely place to visit. Loved seeing Eureka again - thanks.
Hello Robert from Dunnellon Florida! So look forward to spending Sunday mornings with you! That was a beautiful trip. We did that one almost 25 years ago. Hope to do again this summer with our daughter. She moved to Oregon 5 years ago. Spent the holidays out there this year. Thank you again for all your awesome videos!! Drive safe!!
Been to the Samo Cook many times. Last was in the 80, loved the homemade bread ALOHA
I am now watching Ep 23 California Redwoods, I enjoyed watching your shows. This Ep is great indeed. Keep up your good work brother 👍
Enjoyed the lushness of the redwood forests 🌳🌿🌱 🙂👍 A pleasant change from the desert footage ... just my personal preference 👌
💕🙂Beautiful sunset...🌅
As usual, always a pleasure to view your vlogs! Thank you for sharing... Best wishes and prosperity to you!!
Such a wonderful area to drive through!
Those Magnificent trees are surely a treasure to behold !
I was fortunate to be here in 2016 , and will never forget the
Experience.
Seems like we would have about a 6 hour window ,from around 10 am To 4 pm
Without any marine layer or fog , this was in mid August.
A wonderful video Robert, thanks for taking us along with you,!
1-10 this is of course an “10”.😎🚐
stunning views in today's video
#156 In Michigan, we have the Hartwick Pines State Park with some tall trees, original forest. There is camping there too! And plenty of trails. Some Bears, also!
Robert I've always wanted to see the redwoods in person. You have really encouraged me to make a plan and do it!! Thanks again for a awesome video as usual
Impresive the height of the redwoods but the sequoias impressed me much more. They are more massive than the redwoods. But both species are my favorite trees
When you do, make sure you see the Redwood National and State parks on HWY 199 out of Crescent City....Also Jedediah State park along the Smyth River....
I just traveled on one of your routes...it was my first rv trip.Working on my second next week.truly enjoy your channel ! Peace
Just came across your Chanel and I LOVE it! Love all the Vistas. Keep the videos coming 👍
Thank you! Welcome!
Wow awesome those are huge and very tall awesome camera work too thank you so Robert Jim and Bernadette
Wow i didnt know those trees were really that tall. I wished the sky was clear so we could see the bay but like u said u will be back one day. Thank you as always i cant wait for the esp. 😍😍😍
I've watches your videos for a while now. Very relaxing. Next month we are going to the Redwoods! Haven't been there since a kid now I'm taking my kid!
Someday I want to just travel all around!
Outstanding video! Awesome photographic talents along with excellent movie making and editing skills.
Bunny hopping again
I watched this video before I was a commenter. Mr. Robert all your videos awe awesome...
That area from Westport to leggett became ghost towns after it became illegal to cut down redwoods. I’ve driven through the chandelier tree twice. It was pretty cool the first time I did it because I never had seen a tree so massive. But last fall a friend and I did a trip on avenue of the giants. What a fantastic time. The year before we went to lady bird johnson grove and stout grove further north of the avenue of the giants. I think it’s something everyone should experience. And if you get to do a ranger walk, do it! The avenue of the giants is more commercial and built up because people live all around the trees. It’s not included in national parks land. Actually the largest trees are not on avenue of the giants except for one fallen tree. The redwoods are not the largest tree but they are the tallest. Largest are the sequoia. Oldest are also in CA in the white mountains near bishop, the bristlecone pine. But the redwoods are almost eternal because of how they reproduce, not so much by cone but by cloning themselves in root and trunk burls. So the original trees may be long gone but the original roots from thousands of years ago live on in cloned trees
Loved Lady Bird Johnson Grove!
I dig some of the new tunes, cool!. We are going back on the road again this summer. Heading west on US 2 and returning east on US 12.
Beautiful! I also got my dad hooked up to your channel. He binged watched all Monday your videos. Safe travels!
Bummer, the Lolita Cheese factory is permanently closed.
Oh wow! I had supper at the Samoa Cookhouse with my uncle Jerry. It was the spring, back in 1969.
Thank you for the very fond memory.
Saw your time stamp and remembered that's the day I discovered you. I was behind you in traffic in Fort Bragg on my birthday. That's what led to me looking you up. I'm so happy that you had great advertising. Love your videos.
Thank you so much for posting this... I watched the last video and it stopped b4 the redwoods and I was like noooooooo hahahha. Through a series of events my husband and father have fallen on bad health for the last 6 years and I'm our support now and I also am going through YOLO.. i will be going to the redwoods and Oregon's coast and desert and flying back home...will be traveling with one of my granddaughters and I depend on your videos to show me what I REALLY want to see . ...your songs keep me upbeat at work and focused on my budget lol I'm going to the kitchen to cook and enjoy this video.. BTW I love your voice....so soothing...thank you for such informative and enjoyable videos!!
Still the best CZcamsr ever - best music ever
Great video. The Redwood trees are very impressive. The sunset was spectacular. I love sunsets because each one is different. Congrats.... I'll see you on the road.....>>>
Hey Robert! love your content I'm being watching your videos, love your travels in your RV. I also travel a lot, but considering doing it in a RV.
beautiful country thank you for the video
Never been in a tree before that was 😎. Ten dollars ain't too bad if you make the most of it while you are there. Thanks for showing the Redwoods that's as close to seeing them I will get because of my health.
great video has given me some ideas for my trip in April
Wow, my family and I were camping at Richardson Grove SP when you went by! How cool is that!? We camp there every summer. It's beautiful and worth it if you visit the area again.
Great video! Right across from the Trees of Mystery is the Motel of Trees, which we've stayed at. About 50 yards north of the motel (same side of road) is a trail that leads to the beach. It's about 1 mile hike roundtrip but what a great view when you get there! Thank you, as always, for the wonderful visits.
Next time I have to do one of those trails
Just a note; those fallen trees may have fell hundreds of years ago when they were young hundreds of year old trees. Amazing trees!
impressing the size of trees . ps: thanks for the film idea: Harry and the Hendersons! lol
Robert!, you passed me at 7:12. I was the black Ram mega cab long bed dually towing the Montana 5th wheel exiting the gas station. Judging by my direction, I was heading home to Arcata after a trip we took to the Bay Area. I’m glad you seem to have enjoyed your trip through Humboldt
Hey Robert, this trip has been an awesome one! My wife and I are enjoying it so much, we have vowed to make this same trip in the next couple years! We don't have a camper, but are thinking of bringing a big van with our children. Thanks for another great episode!
wow cool treas love it
