There's also a frame where Stephen switches seats with Christine. It may not be much of a detail, but if you actually think about it, he thought that if he was in Christine's position, he would suffer her fate instead of her. He was ready to die for her.

I like to think that Strange Supreme isn't evil. If we think back to who he is, he's just human, and he's just driven by his emotions, which ultimately costed Christine and his own universe. In short, he's just a sad version of Strange, but quite more powerful
He is basically what the Sith are to the Jedi: he let his emotions get the best of him.
And that is ultimately what makes us evil: allowing our instincts, biases and passions to rule us over instead of the other way around.
@@Astropeleki no what makes someone evil is reveling in knowing you get pleasure or satisfaction out of doing harmful things to people. Sure Strange was unethical, but immoral? His guiding reason was to save Christine, not kill her and everyone else. That's why he said "I never meant for any of this to happen", just like in the 2nd ever MoM trailer. He was just misguided and had a supernatural lapse in judgment. Thus he knew helping the multiversal Avengers in the last episode would do actual good.
So scarlet witch isn't evil?
@@amirashraf5191 I mean in a way she kinda is. I love how halfway through the watcher was considering stopping him but when the time line was coming to an end and strange didn't see the error of his ways until it was too late he made the decision to allow the timeline be and come to an end. Not to mention if he left strange alive or let him die and save the rest of the timeline, either way that timeline and others would be in danger.

The joke about his name is an absolute point in time.
I remember trying to explain to mom who dr.strange was because she thought "Strange" was a nickname
correction-an absolute point in time throughout the multiverse
As Ancient one explains Doctor Strange that the death of christine was the actual point of time it was suppose to happen. The same thing Mobius said to Loki in episode 1 when Loki saw his mother died, and Mobius said "that's the proper flow of time, which happens again and again, becase it was supposed to be".
Just noticed when he's talking about the pages we see opened in the dark hold that match the book he found the answer in. Agatha becomes stronger by absorbing the power of others

He fortified his mind.
Fun easter egg: In the live action version strange knows that warnings come after the spell because he experienced it firsthand but this version was so grief struck that he did not care to look beyond the pages for warnings
Good one! that might actually be a reason
If he had read about the Watcher, he should have had plenty of centuries to read over some warnings.
@@consumerjtc5835 Valid point but even if he came across warnings on his years of reading, he was already too involved in his pursuit. Reading the spells first gave him hope to save Christine. Once he had hope the was nothing stopping him. Also, he felt like he had the power to undo anything with his power, which he did until the last moment until he saw the world collapsing on him and Christine. But in the live action, Dr strange already knew the warnings and after that he witnessed the power and so he knew that he couldn't stop what evil would be created I think. Knowing the warnings before wouldve helped in reducing his arrogance. I may be completely wrong but yeah that's just a theory
Aapka knowledge kamaal hai bhai 😳
why exactly are the warnings written after the spell? Did those who wrote them have a reason to do it this way?
I really like the detail that it is only when evil Dr. Strange consumes the other Dr. Strange, he becomes powerful enough to "actually" see The watcher. Before this, he could only sense his presence!
Yeah because earlier his powers were divided into half.
*Me seeing Dr. Strange desperately saving Christine multiple times but ended up having the same results.

Or much easier, Past Strange has to believe Christine is dead, allowing for him to eventually become a sorcerer since that _has_ to happen in Present Strange's timeline.

“Time traveller cannot save the love of his life because that would take away the life path that leads to him becoming a time traveller” is the core plot of the book “The Time Machine”.
But see that logic does not align with the time travel logic smart hulk gave when he was explaining it in endgame
@@unicornpotato0751 You are correct.
@@unicornpotato0751 Because they don't use time travel to change the past, but only to influence the present from their point of view. After they did it, they returned all items back to the point where they took them from. Even Steve Rogers who remained in the past, did only change his future and nothing else to the point in time where he travelled back, meaning he was there the entire time, lving a life in the shadows, knowing what will happen so he did not have to interfere and if he did something would have happened, that prevented him from interfering, as there was no interference.
Strange wanted to change the past, to gain a different present, which would have resulted in him not becoming what he was and not wanting to change the past.

love how the Watcher "technically" interferes in the final moments of this universe, because in the wake of mass scale distruction event any interference is futile, hence he is not really modifying nothing, as discovered by Loki
But he does eventually interfere many times in marvel, it's just he usually tries to not to, but when it comes to the main universe earth he develops a soft spot, so I'm not surprised if he interferes a little in the last episode as a character progression
Sleeping Troubles makes sense that he would interfere with the main timeline since without it theres no other timelines to watch

What if Cagliostro is He Who Remains. Cagliostro is the one that knew the most about the time ,like the time manipulation and alteration, and He Who Remains lived in the void, at the end of the time. Cagliostro was never introduced, even in what if. And HWR couldn't see more in the future after his death, like the Ancient One.

I think the worst part is, blind in his attempts to save her from death, he never discovers the soul stone, which can bring back the dead. At this point, he's already lost the only one he loves, so there's nothing left for him to sacrifice on Virmire. So who knows if he could even get his hands on it.

Honestly I’m surprised that Steven didn’t try to find Christine in the astral plane or sacrifice his hands. Great story
One thing i don't see anyone talking about in their breakdowns is how when Strange goes through all the attempts to save Christine, his last attempt he goes on the same trip with her that originaly kills her, but takes the passenger seat instead of driving. So when sacrificing his relationship with her by not showing up doesn't work, his last attempt is to kill himself in her stead.

What if shumagorath was responsible for the death of hope in episode 3?
There was a lot going on in episode 2 but I wonder if there’s a spare tentacle in the collector’s stash.
I really don't think it's shumagorath. remember when natasha explain her mission to steve when they were at the hospital? she said that she was being shot by winter soldier.
at that timeline probably it was hope who escort the person but instead of get wounded, she died
Shuma gorath is a multiversal creature, capable of destroying realities, one of the many angled ones maybe; what captain Carter fought was in fact the legendary kraken, and what strange summoned was different creature

All I can hear from this episode is “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry” this episode hit me hard in the feels 😢 the broken heart of the sorcerer supreme could really spell the end of the world as we know it smh wow
That moment with the watcher was literally Strange being sent to hell. He can still keep himself alive with the time stone, so all that's left for Strange supreme is an eternity of contemplating how much he messed up. :(
Same here it was a really different feeling
Yes, it did hit me hard too. It's the darkest and saddest story ever
he literally spent centuries trying to bring back Christine. Damn that is some love.
Obsessive love you mean
not love hes just unable to bear with the pain of losing a loved one
Lmao Christine is dying again and again!
I feel bad but this is funny!
Can't she stop dying for 5 minutes !
Episode 6 makes so sense because tony getting captured and become iron man should be an apsolute point
I just dont think he killed "Shuma-Gorath". He only cut off the tentacles from what we saw. I think we will see more of it in this series or live action. Love the videos, man, keep up the great work
I don't necessarily think it was Shuma-Gorath either. Probably just any of the Great Old Ones/Many Angled Ones from another dimension.
idk idk
Shuma Gorath is way too op, i doubt it was Shuma either way. But yeah there's no reason to say he killed it.
When Stephen looks at Christine through the window, the Watcher's eyes is visible. Somebody probably already said this.
This was the comment I was looking for😅
Can you give a time stamp for the episode?
@@jlit5215 4:38 look at the left side of the car door reflection
@@Ryan-qz2bz thanks, don’t know how I missed that before really off putting
this was so amazing and dark. I wasn't expecting but that is the fun
10:41 ""But the fate of his universe is not worth risking of the safety of all others" - i feel like this line is glimpse of Watcher plan to defeat Infinity Ultron. If didn't become supreme he won't be able to save multiverse.
So this version of doctor strange plays pokemon for centuries😂
dude 🤣🤣🤣
Aw man, you said it..
Cursed pokemon
We post funny marvel shorts please check out
Here after Watching No Way Home, now we know how much Important this Animated series was, & the importance of Strange Supreme🔥 🥺 this episode Hits different now
Notice Strange Supreme says "I didn't mean for this to happen"
Strange in our world says the exact same thing in Multiverse of Madness trailer.
My theory for NWH and MOM is that Strange notices he has a lot of things to fix after Loki and WandaVision so he does the same thing the ancient one did and splits himself in half to help others in the same universe so I’m pretty sure they’ll be two Strange.
Hence why the Strange Helping Peter isn’t made aware of the consequences
I also have a theory, that this episode wasn't made with full focus, as it is already established that changing the past doesn't change the future in endgame, and that a new timeline will be made due to changing it.
@@The_E_Lord i think it’s because there’s two different ways to time travel. In Endgame they shifted into another timeline and took stones, but here Strange uses the stone to go back in time in the same timeline.
@@JhayFadez Actually the Avengers travelled to the same timeline but whenever they changed the the thing that happened in the timeline a new timeline would branch out from the original timeline
@@The_E_Lord hmm good point. you right. it’s confusing but I still believe that they have different rules depending on which method you use.
@@The_E_Lord Here's my understanding of the whole time travel deal in the MCU. Infinity stones control the proper flow of time, so using the time stone to go back or forth directly impacts the timeline.
Time travelling without an infinity stone however can branch out into a new reality if the traveler isn't cautious enough, hence why the series Loki even took place in the first place.
Literally every episode: This is the best episode by far
That's so damn true
because they just keep getting *better* XD
I got one. Quite similar tho. Every Episode: This is the best episode SO FAR (the homer simpson meme)
The fact you can see the watcher in the window as well is insane detail!
The Watcher is in the reflection of the car window along with Steven’s as he looks at Christine on his 3rd trip back to save her.
The third time Steven goes back to save Christine you can see the Watcher's eyes in the reflection, not just Dr Strange.
Yeah, I thought that was why he paused on that shot.
It was kinda obvious. And I like how Doctor Strange doesn't notice The Watcher at first, but as he becomes more powerful he starts sensing Watcher's presence, ultimately being able to see him while the universe is disintegrating.
@@professorx3060 right? I was really surprised when the lad didn't mention it. Totally agree about him noticing as he becomes more powerful btw. That was really cool.
It was obvious that's why he didn't mention it
I like how an "absolute point" is also kind of like a Nexus event, where it cannot be overcome lest the TVA comes in and prunes that timeline. But by breaking an absolute point, it's even more unstable in that the timeline itself cannot exist and essentially prunes itself :o
I don't understand how it's an absolute point, cuz we know christine lives in original timeline and strange still goes on to become sorcerer supereme
@@rajindersingh6384 the absolute point here is when cristine agreed to join with dr. strange in that event. If she didn't come then I believe the absolute point will be dr. strange losing his hands no matter what.
@@rajindersingh6384 but in this universe, he values Christine more than his profession (his hands in the original universe), and both are still the point where he loses his everything, which has to happen to propel him towards the mystic arts. in the original, Christine wasn't in the car at all bc she declined to go with him, which also is a sign of their stronger relationship in this new universe.
@@rajindersingh6384 it is an absolute point for that specific universe. Remember, this show is based on different universes in the multi-verse. The absolute point of the doctor strange that we know (from the "official" universe) is him ruining his hands so that he is unable to continue being a doctor
Got it ! So losing his most important thing is the "absolute point" it could be losing his hands or losing christine or maybe something else in another unviverse
wow this dude really predicted the message of MOM; strange needing to overcome his arragance I can't belive they foreshadowed that all the way back in what if
I’m rewatching this after multiverse of madness, and lads theory of strange and his arrogance was perfectly played out in that film. Gg man.
