The only reason people think it's overhyped is because it's super well liked despite only one episode. It "is" actually overhyped but that doesn't make it a bad thing. People tend to go crazy over anything new. I think it was well done and would really like ti know more about this Digital world

overhyped, yes, definitely. i also think there was some quirky humor that kinda made me cringe. BUT i still loved it and got goosebumps at the ending scene. bought the merch from it too. good show imo, not everyone needs to like it though. i just don't like when people think "everyone who likes this show are either 7 or neurodivergent".
i personally think the opposite of liking something isn't hating it, but apathy. if you claim you absolutely hate something with no concrete reasons, you're doing it out of spite. if the animation or plot weren't what you wanted, you wouldn't go "I hate this plot!", you'd go "This type of plot isn't really my thing". if you dont like it, bring up honest criticism so the creators can work on it and get a better feel of their diverse audience.
like, for example, fnaf movie is like, a 6/10 rating or so. you think the critics went "I hate this movie with all my being!"? no. they went "plot felt a little rushed, acting could've been more realistic, there were some plot holes..." etc.

@@Agiven32 I watched the pilot and I hated it and some people who watched it probably did to just because I watched it doesn't mean I'm a fan of it half of those views are probably haters
@@ripperFromTotaldramaIsHot listen mate I didn’t like the pilot either but to say it’s trash is jus dumb it was very well made for an indie pilot and it’s clear that the vast majority of people who watched it like it

@@Agiven32 i liked the pilot and agree with you. W opinion. it was one episode so far, and theres already people saying how much they despise the whole show (whether thats humor, plot, animation, VA, etc). and yes, there is some annoying quirky humor, but i do still like the pilot.
everyone has their own cup of tea, but if it's not yours, that doesn't mean you should declare war on tea or the people who drink it.
