These summons are just tremendously powerful. I understand why they are not free to summon at will. Ramuh is my favorite. Both of his animations are so cool. When he looks for you when your in buildings.

When I try and summon I almost always get Ramuh, which is a shame, cause Leviathan's attack is one of the most terrifying yet awesome things I've seen in a video game. I wish I knew how to get it...

Fenrir was planned when XV was still Versus XIII, but got cancelled. Fenrir would've been cool!

Earth, Water, Ice, Lightning, and I guess the Sky (Bahamut being non-elemental, and Ifrit not included because you can't really summon him). Not to mention, whenever the summons come, they do substantial environmental changes. Imagine if you summon Leviathan all the time, the whole world would be flooded lol

a thing that this game do in a great way is this feeling that you REAAAAALLY ARE THE CHOOSEN ONE, the gods WILL REALLY HELP YOU and not just in cutscenes or main story fights.
I feel that they missed an opportunity with Shiva. Instead of just smashing into chunks of ice, Ifrit should have fallen to the floor as before, but then melted

Fantasy without secret summons to locate for me is a very bitter find....FFXV could be so much more but they rushed it so much its a good game no doubt about that but it could have been a masterpiece.....

What do you find incomplete about it? not trying to sound like a smart ass I'm almost about done with the story mode I just want to know what some people find disappointing apart from the limited summons.
The most obvious ones are the lack of story for gladio,ignis,promto...when they dissapear from the story with no explanation whatsover ...and then the nerve to charge another money for that content that should have been in the main story from the get go....Next unfinshed thinq is the map....you are introduced after chapter 9 to 2 whole new regions yet you can't explore almost nothing of these regions...Magic is very limited and the supposedly super powerful ring magic is not any good against truly strong enemies which make it useless in my opinion

bahamut couldn't go all out otherwise you might as well say bye bye to everything they tryna save and take back... too powerful... hence why notics took over to try and land the final blow...so Shiva later comes to well...end it with a chill in the story
Because If Bahamut could have stopped Ifrit, or any other rogue Primal/Astral/Eidolon/Esper/Aeon/Guardian Force/etc., he would have long before the events of any of the games. Then again, the summons in Final Fantasy games are usually good guys, so, since they needed an evil one for this game, Square said 'fuck it' and made one of their most evil looking summons actually evil?
Question to all, was Gentiana's Shiva reveal awesome or felt very rushed. I feel kinda half and half because having them be two different beings would've been much more accepting, yet having that reveal was badass as well. any thoughts?
Like, the scene where Gentiana's reveals herself to be Shiva was quite amazing. Just appearing in a blizzard to help the player from the main villain is literally everything. Wasn't rushed but I felt it could have been more apparent because in the game it is implied that the Niff's have already killed 3 of the 6 (Which turn out to be the number of summons the player may use excluding the fiery twat Ifrit) so I wasn't expecting it.
I thought it was a really neat animation. Bahamut in this game is clearly a god wearing a suit of armor, you can tell by her eyes. If it was a dragon depiction I'd understand, but why would a humanoid breathe fire? Just because it's different, doesn't mean it's bad.
