For a while when Noct disappeared, he actually appeared in FF14. Your character helps him get back to his home.
How and where can i do that quest??
@@angelbo2408 sadly it is not available atm for FF14. It’s a seasonal event and has only appeared twice. I’m pretty sure they might revive it again soon.

I like that during the 2nd quest, there is optional dialogue if you talk to Noctis, saying Y’jhimei wasn’t kidding about cat people everywhere. Good continuity

How do you get to this part of the game without having any context?
From 7:40 to 7:50, noctis disappears. He actually went to Eorzea (FF14 world (during a limited time event that happened)) and interacts with your character. What seemed like days, was just 10 seconds.

In FF14 Noctis actually goes to their world when he disappears in this game. Eventhough Garuda the Messenger Goddess helps him he gets trialed by her and afterwards is sent back. It's also canon that this even has happened. In note of the novel "Dawn of the Future" one of the Messengers Garuda was mentioned and was an occurring summon used by Noctis, meaning this event had to happen for her appearance.
I really hope Garuda becomes the new standard Wind Summon going forward. She's definitely made a big impression after 14

Garuda had that one boss theme that even if you KNOW youre overleveled, you STILL think you're fucked.
To be fair, when she said "I, the supreme deity Garuda" I was kinda expecting Bahamut's sword to just fall down and cleave her right in half. Or at least the other 4 to just beat her to a pulp witouth Noctis and gang having to do anything.

When I usually get into fights on 15, I turn into either Prompto or Ignis because they were so useful. I mean, use Prompto's bazooka and tell me it isn't.

I know what you mean. I alr finished the game twice before they started completing the game through patches. Fuck, i was at my 5th playthrough when they started adding in the switchable characters patch. Fuck square enix.
addi543 FFXIII never destroyed it, the trilogy actually sold millions of copies and many people replayed the games and loved them (LR is debatable though). It was the fact that Square Enix kept delaying particular games and pursued to shift towards different game mechanics. This resulted in so many lacklustre games which left fans unsatisfied. Square Enix ain’t that dumb to produce a whole trilogy ya know, they’ve all surpassed a million copies now...

Bro all you guys trying to be edgy and shit trying to hate on a series because of one or two games are fucking retarded. I’ve been there since FF2 and tactics. Was 11, 13, and 15 lacking what its predecessors had? Yes of course. Were they shit games? No the fuck they were not. They were their own games with their own charm. Final fantasy 13 was an incredibly complicated plot yet very understandable if you actually sit and invest your time understanding it. I guarantee you, you didn’t even thoroughly play the 13 series. I guarantee you didn’t give 15 a chance because why? Because you decided to listen to what the stupid edge lords had to say about 13 for you to be turned off by it completely. 15 and 13 were great. 11 was ok. Oh and x-2 was alright. Were they the best in the series no. Were they complete shit? No. Absolutely not. A lot of work was put into these games. Yes 15 was not what it was supposed to be. That doesn’t mean it’s absolute trash. Sure it wasn’t what tetsuya had in mind but that’s ok that’s what Verum Rex is going to be. Give the games an actual chance. Not jump the band wagon of edgy twerps that didn’t play shit that just listened to reviews on it and decided the entire series was worthless based on a one sided review. I know this because I knew way too many people that were quick to call ff13 shit and they never even touched the game.

Real talk, I didn't spoil myself with this event quest. I saw it was a FFXIV crossover and thought, "Oh cool, quick little interaction and move on." Then Garuda showed up, theme song in tow. I shat bricks when you get to summon her XV version when you beat her. Best quest in the whole game. 15/10

I actually tried to beat this boss without using summons, she’s eventually got to the attack with the tornados and destroyed all the crystals . Gladio was low, including me and prompto plus ignis was dead, I had WAY MORE enough heals to get us back on track but then the cutsence played where the other garunda came to help you, literally when this happened I was like. “ BRO I GOT THIS, IMA HIGHER LEVEL GO AWAY” but it looked like you were FORCED to use her I order to have her as a free summon. So I used her and I won.

final fantasy 16 has the best designs for the summons by far, i mean look at this garuda and check the one on the 16, also enjoyed the story much more, final fantasy games in general have decent story but the last one was way more mature and fun to play

The amount of EXP this mission grants when you replay it is ridiculous. I played four times in a row once and then went straight to Galdin, went up like 10 levels 😅.

It‘s a shame that I bought this game as soon as it came out, because it was broken as hell. Now it‘s actually playable because of 2848 dlc‘s and I’m missing the time and motivation to start again. This might be the worst experience I ever had with a FF game and I played every game, since VII came out^^
